I feel like any aliens that were prey at some point in evolution would have an odd fear of humans. Mostly cause they look like predators, act a bit like predators, and ARE predators. One perfect example is when we're focused on something like a mosquito that's been bugging us for a long time and we are just done.
Alien: "What. What..?"
Human: *HUNTING down a mosquito it saw*
Alien: ".... yeah I am really uncomfortable...."
Human: *quiet footsteps, pupils dialated, intense focus,*
Alien: *WAR FLASHBACKS*
Human: "Found you." *absolutely desimates the mosquito, squashing it into a million pieces as it's guts and various body parts liquidize into blood of the bloodthirsty, now stained on the palm of the human. A living being now reduced to a useless corpse as the human wipes the remains on their pants*
Alien: "I feel like I've just gained trauma."

reaching the point of hyperfixation where I can no longer engage with it due to the nausea that I experience at the mere thought of seeing it on my screen is the closest I’ve ever been to being diagnosed with female hysteria
The fact that I’ve never seen anyone draw Duke Thomas as a cute baby upsets me greatly
Jason and Tim are arguing, Jason brings up how Tim stole his mantle
Tim, yelling: I did what I was supposed to do!! I got an adult! It's not my fault the adult wouldn't help! I had to take matters into my own hands, I will not be shamed for that! If you want to be mad at someone? Don't be mad at me. Or Bruce. Or Alfred. You wanna be mad at someone? Be mad at Dick Grayson, because when I saw that Batman was falling apart at the seams, I went straight to him! I asked him to help, when Batman was going to tear Gotham apart, piece by piece, in his grief, I BEGGED Dick to help, and he said no, so I had to step up because otherwise no one would.
Jason, not angry anymore: Wh- Tim, you were, you were 13! It wasn't your job to fix a grown man, you didn't have to be the one to save him...
Tim: Then why didn't anyone help!!
Jason: Tim...
Tim: why didn't anyone help?
Iced vanilla latte with oatmilk :))
rb with your usual coffee order yes this is profoundly boring but i dont CARE i want to KNOW
You hate eachother & You love yourself
I want less of "the Drakes were terrible people and parents and Bruce rescues poor sad Timmy" (not knocking the trope it just got old for me)
And more of Bruce suffering a hell of his own creation as he tries to figure out how to parent Timothy "latchkey kid" Drake, who doesn't respect the concept of having parental supervision in general and more specifically Bruce's authority as his new guardian at all, because Tim was basically his caretaker for the entire beginning of his tenure as Robin
Any kind of Parental Action would have Bruce choking in his own hypocrisy. Like... imagine trying to get your teenage son to go to bed when he's been putting your ass down for naps for like, years, by that point. Imagine telling him to eat healthier when at 13 years old he was helping your butler with designing your meal plan 'cause you were too depressed to eat
Bruce gently tries to get him to stop working on a case to take a break, and Tim raises a single withering eyebrow (he learned this from Alfred) and Bruce immediately shuts up. Tim only listens to Bruce when he wants to and being legally adopted by the man hasn't changed that
(And I want fics of the rest of the batfam reacting to this dynamic soooooooo bad)
I’m starting to suspect that Porter could intentionally be fucking Gorgug over in an attempt to bring out some rage in him and if that is the case, I can see the conclusion of that endeavor being Gorgug teaching HIM that uncontrolled, unpredictable rage offers little strategically to a party, but someone as emotionally conscientious and leveled out as Gorgug can tap into rage as a tool and that’s what makes him a good barbarian.
I’m thinking we’re approaching an arc about that, with the frost fest coming up at the thistlespring tree next episode and it being revealed that both his adoptive and biological parents will be there- the gnomes that raised him to be kind and emotionally intelligent, and the orcs that passed the barbarian nature down to him. I think Gorgug is going to accept his strengths as a barbarian in control of his anger, who can apply himself outside of his rage and dial into it when it matters. He’ll be better than Porter ever was.
