So a free tool called GLAZE has been developed that allows artists to cloak their artwork so it can't be mimicked by AI art tools.
AI art bros are big mad about it.
I think now that queens dead they should have her stuffed and put on display in Cairo for the next 150 years.
Hello! I hope you have a nice Whitsuntide and celebrated in the memory of our may-bringer Arthur. I wanted to ask, if you had any recommendations (or websites) on Old/Middle English literature for someone, who's already gotten themselves into the German mess of medieval literature? I am mainly looking for your personal 'must-read' texts that you might be able to name from the top of your head. I'm trying to get cross-knowledge because I'm so much in love with it. Q_Q
Recommendations for people interested in getting into medieval literature: https://professorerudite.tumblr.com/post/159132582176/hi-there-what-kind-of-books-would-recommend-to
My recommended reading list for Viking Era/Heroic Poetry (this includes Italian and Old French) https://professorerudite.tumblr.com/post/159591094086/hi-there-saw-your-medieval-book-recs-could-you

Here’s a link to a list of other Old English Poetry manuscripts (with summaries) Some great reads in Middle English would be Gawain and the Green Knight or Malory’s Morte Darthur.

I'm going to need y'all to preemptively chill out because the actor's strike is going to mean a lot of things including shows and movies we've been anticipating being pushed way back, and absolutely minimal press tours for the next however long this lasts.
The effects of the writer's strike are months down the road which made it a whole lot easier to support because as third parties we weren't really being affected (yet), the effect of the actor's strike is going to be immediate and we're going to get a lot more propaganda of "these people are overpaid to begin with."
Remember our desire for content does not supersede these people's rights to live.
Support unions, support the strikes.
look at this meme I saw on a bridge in Chicago
I’m going to start exploiting this immediately

ao3′s orphaning option is cool and a good idea but mostly very fucking funny. i posted this work for fun when i was younger and i still want people to be able to come back to it if they liked it, but now im an adult professional and i dont want it attached to my name. whats the word for that? umm, anonymously posting? no. i want something that indicates i murdered this story’s parents
