just another day of calling big murder men "babygirl"
at this point I've seen this being mentioned quite a few times.
That the reason Israel gets to do everything they do is because they're a jewish state so they can always claim the victim card.
And I feel like that is misleading. Like yes the Israeli state does use that excuse, but in the end it's really just propaganda.
The real reason Israel gets to do what it does is that it's beneficial to the west. Western countries have done all the same things.
It's not a product of Israel being given too long a leash. Because I can pretty much guarantee that this was the intent from the start.
It doesn't feed into some grand conspiracy that jews control the world. Because, well. They don't, at all.
The second Israel isn't beneficial to the west, and especially the US, then Israel is done for.
Like don't let yourself get hooked into anti-semetic talking points just because you hate Israel and want the palestinian people to live. Keep to the facts remember your love for people, and remember that many many jews across the globe and even in Israel oppose the regime. Remember that the world doesn't suddenly love jews. It's just been given an excuse to openly annihilate another group they hate, which in this case are the arabs.
We all have to be motivated by love rather than hate, it's the only way this whole situation can be anything but pure loss. It's the only way we can keep any humanity
this is such vital information !! fight genocide by learning and only using the Palestinian words for the towns and cities of Palestine, because they are PALESTINIAN.
do not let Palestine be erased through language. the colonisation of language is just as deadly.
(edit with the link! please reblog this version instead!!!!)
You ever think about how Sangwoo looked so irritated when Gihun invited Ilnam to join their group? Yes it was probably because his age made him a liability but Gihun also didn’t offer much to the table but that didn’t matter to Sangwoo. He still wanted to play the games with him. And when he chose to stay silent about the dalgona, it was probably in hopes of getting rid of Ilnam, and you can see the instant regret in Sangwoo’s eyes when Gihun takes the umbrella instead.
Do you ever think that maybe there was a small part of Sangwoo that partnered up with Ali in marbles not just because he thought he would make a better partner but also because he wanted to spite Gihun for allowing someone to intrude in between them?

"sang-woo didn't feel any remorse for his actions!!!!!" (rant incoming hi guys)
okay. im NOT an expert in facial expressions at all. but compare these images, during the later games (1: on the glass bridge, unsure of when; 2: after marbles before glass bridge, eating the consolation potato)
to these. (before marbles)
although he's still quite distressed (in the death games, wow! who would have guessed!), after marbles was when he genuinely started to lose his mind and spiral downward. i like to imagine in his head he’s fighting a battle between the overwhelming, harrowing feeling of guilt, and the need to win the games/being so desperate and willing to do anything to get out with the money.
in the first couple images, his eyes have that glassy, faded kind of look to them.
i do also want to take into account that sang-woo very visibly felt and looked guilty during the dalgona game. not because he lied about the game exactly, but because he nearly sent his best friend into death.
while i think it likely fucked with him self-consciously, i do think he was able to deflect it with "well he survived anyway" instead of wallowing in it like later.
(another thing i noticed (credits to @degenerata69 for pointing this out, i forgot where they said it but it made me do some deeper diving) is that sang-woo was one of the last triangle-shaped cutters to finish. i do think he was taking his time to ensure it didn't break, but i also do think his thoughts of guilt slowed him down. also his hands are shaking before the gunshots go off (seen more towards the beginning) poor guy.)
now look at his face after killing sae-byeok.
still a heartless monster with no remorse?
take a second to take it in..
and we didn't get a cease fire.
why is every character in the resident evil franchise so hot
