Maksim Surayev, Gregory Wiseman (NASA) and Alexander Gerst (Germany) participated in winter survival training. This simulates what it would be like if the Soyuz landed in winter and the rescue team could not reach the crew for a couple of days. This crew will be part of ISS expeditions 40/41 starting in May 2014.

Volkov, i know he is the son of cosmonaut aleksandr volkov, he is best son rookie ever! i feel so sad when he is leaving the detachment of cosmonaut.; -;

Padalka, he is super great! he is spending 879 days in space and beat krikalev who break the record before padalka. I think is just great! but...he is choose to resign (just like volkov). because he feel on the future he wil never have opportunity to fly again. this breaks my heart. really.
