Friendly reminder that literally the entire “point” of Megan’s character is to be “plain” and “boring”.

The show makes it very clear that Megan is supposed to be the “normal” part of Hiro’s life. Something he missed out on as a kid genius who’s now also a superhero, always getting into weird situations. It’s not Megan’s fault if you don’t understand “the point” of her character.

Even as “the normal kid” Megan is still really interesting. Especially for a character who was only really present for half a season, I’d say she’s developed enough to stand on her own. She has her own quirks and personality that seperates her from the other characters.

I feel like media undervalues the importance of the “every day” character, so I’m honestly really thankful for Megan.

massacre at pride parade in poland

this is a signal boost. please share it, for the love of god, media doesn’t cover this enough yesterday my city held its first pride parade. we were warned by the far right that they won’t allow it to happen, we knew it was going to be bad, but not this bad. nationalists from all across the country took trains here and occupied the area where parade was supposed to start, waiting to begin a massacre. the first people to have appeared at the spot were brutally beaten, there are 4 officially unconfirmed (clarification: this might be fake news, nobody knows anything) deaths of teenagers. they were attacking children they pledged to protect from “gay pedophiles”. i saw them covered in blood. i saw them crying. i saw them running, hiding in nearby shops, chased through the streets by organised groups of nazis that kept screaming: WE’LL KILL ALL FAGGOTS. 50 grown men against a single kid. 10 different men against a 14-year-old girl. she was thrown on the ground, kicked, and beaten, because she had a rainbow on her shirt. the parade was disrupted, but continued to march on. the amount of rocks, bricks, glass beer bottles, bottles with piss, rotten eggs, explosives that were thrown at us, is uncountable. my throat is sore from screaming RUN RUN RUN each time some landed nearby. then they exploded. have you ever experienced the ringing in your ears, so frequently shown in war movies after a grenade detonates nearby? i did, yesterday.  people have burns, traumatic brain injuries, broken bones, broken noses, not to mention bruises and cuts. i saw so much blood that day. we were choking because of smoke and pepper spray that police used against those who attacked them. them, not us. people who threw rocks/glass/bricks/explosives/eggs, slicing our temples, cracking our skulls, breaking our bones, are facing no consequences, unless they’ve attacked the policemen. 25 had charges pressed against them. 25 out of thousands who gathered with the sole purpose of attacking us. they outnumbered and surrounded us. they chased people after the parade ended, screaming death threats. screaming that they will find us through the photos, and kill us.  do you know what our right-wing media does? they’re claiming we, the peaceful parade whose numerous members are currently hospitalized with terrible injuries, were the ones who threw rocks/glass/bricks/explosives/eggs at “good christians who were protecting traditional values”. do you know what our church does? it’s thanking those who attacked us. the church approves violence. and so does the government. welcome to poland. run.

it refers to the Roman goddes of love and the scientific name for Venus fly traps are “Dionaea somthing somthing” daughter of Dione) which refers to Aphrodite and she is also connected to love and beauty‼️

not only is this a compelling argument enough, the Venus fly Trap shown in the picture in held in a glass container. Similar to the one in “Beauty and the Beast”. This is important becuase in the story “Beauty and the Beast” the rose symbolizes love and romance (as all roses do)

But the most important part of this is that it stood for the Beasts dying hope of finding love. We, as the audience, can also note that before the Beast became a Beast he was a prince and was pampered in his life before the curse.

Why is this important⁉️

BECUASE. As a prince the Beast was selfish and unkind. The enchantress who cursed him stated the reasoning for the curse was becuase “there was no love left in his arrogant heart”. Who else is arrogant at first and selfish⁉️

MATTHOLOMULE. HE was selfish AND unkind. He wanted things for himself and used others. And just like the beast He goes through his own redemption and reform. Mattholomule becomes less selfish and HELPS Gus in the graveyard. As the audience we know that Mattholomule, just like the Beast, still has a long way to go in regards to his selfishness, but we still see the growth and similarities between the two.

Not only that but in this case Gus takes on the role of Beauty,(I forgot her name) Gus shows Mattholomule that we doesn’t have to be so selfish and life can be better if he let people help and acted more generous. In the end Beauty and the Beast get together becuase they help each other. We can see that in Gus and Mattholomules new formed friendship at the end of TTLGR.

Furthermore the fly trap IS BLUE, And BLUE STANDS FOR ILLUSIONS ‼️‼️ and guess who is master illusionist ⁉️ GUS PORTER. Therefore the fly trap represents Gus and his love for Matt(cringe fail)Tholomule.

However you may ask, WHY didnt they give us a gus and matt interaction⁉️⁉️ and to that I say…

the writers wanted to canonize gustholomule however there simply wasn’t enough time in the finale.

Additionally the reason we didn’t see them together is becuase they writers wanted to show both Mattholomule and Gus in their respective jobs when they are older - Mattholomule working in construction and Gus being a professor at the university.

rtI finally finished it! I took a lot to do this blog, but first I will specify some things, I hope you like it.

WBBA is an independent boarding school located in the city, it is considered one of the best schools in the country and was run by Ryo Hagane, the WBBA is also known for reforming rebellious students with a successful outcome. But at the end of the school year the principal passed away, leaving his best friend, Mr. Doji, in charge of the school, changing the administration of the boarding school, making it despicable to the students, but giving his clients a good view.

Kenta Yumiya

Let’s start with Kenta, he is the new student of the boarding school, he was unexpectedly admitted in the middle of the school year due to a family emergency, Kenta was very well received by the principal (which is quite strange) addressing him with a lot of attention and interest.

 Although the case of Kenta is not a big deal, but it has attracted a lot of attention due to the interest of the principal, especially since he accepted Kenta in a very complicated period of time, getting a lot of attention throughout the school (just for the gossip) and of “some students”. He’s pretty lucky that Gingka is his roommate.

Benkei Hanawa

Benkei is nothing more than an average bully in boarding school, but he is the strongest of all the bullys, his favorite victims are young children, because apart from being an easy prey, they are the most protected by the prefects, making him a personal challenge for him. for that reason most students try to avoid it or give it what they want so they can be left alone.

Gingka Hagane

He is the son of the former Principal of the school, he is a student who falls very behind others due to his low reputation caused by the disgusting mistreatment of the principal and being known for being lazy, he has such a bad reputation that even his friends have distanced themselves from him, or just his personal bully. Gingka’s disinterest reached such a point that he is not interested in anything, more than having money so that at least they do not leave him beaten

Gingka became very selfless and irresponsible since his father (the first principal) died, leaving Doji, his best friend, in charge of the boarding school. Gingka is quite distant from other students so as not to disturb them, he even tries to move away when someone wants to be friendly with him, so it’s not easy to be friends with him.

Madoka Amano

Madoka was the first friend that Kenta had at the time of entering the boarding school, she is the special assistant in the computer area of the IT class, thanks to her great programming and engineering skills, she became a highly respected student by the teachers, she even participated in a dispute over the prohibition of computers against the principal, where she ended up winning. She was previously friends with Gingka, but he ended up rejecting her shortly after when she confessed to him.

Kyoya Tategami

Previously, Kyoya was a good student at his father’s school, but with a very foolish attitude, as he was the son of a director of another school, he was very arrogant and ignorant, he remained that way until he entered WBBA, he changed to being a little more mature and determined in his future, being one of the best in baseball and Gingka’s best friend. 

But when Doji took over as principal, the school was quite neglected, apart from considering criticism of the principal’s decisions as an offense, Kyoya completely opposed the administration of the new principal, causing one or another problem in the school, every time. bigger and more dangerous, blaming Gingka and his father, becoming one of the most dangerous students in school, even being an excuse for other students to follow in his footsteps, becoming a challenge for the prefects.

Tsubasa Otori

Tsubasa is the vice president of the student council, he is a handsome and hard-working boy who tries to help Yu with his position as president, he also tries to encourage him to do his job to give him space in his other position as prefect, Tsubasa lives Working all day, so he often does not attend class, but always tries to get good grades. 

After the level of vandalism on the part of the rebellious students rose to a very high scale, his position as prefect became a mandatory job as he was chosen for his great ability in combat and boxing to monitor the most dangerous students for the cases of attacks with weapons, so it is not a surprise to see him walking around the school loaded with weapons (and he does not mind using them to defend himself)

Hikaru Hasama

Hikaru and Tsubasa were children that Ryo rescued from the streets of the city, offering to study at the boarding school in exchange for them to work for him, so she and Tsubasa are very good friends and together with Yu they are known to be a trio of mutual support, although most students question their type of relationship, but the reality is not the big deal.

When Ryo died and Doji took office, Hikaru was dedicated to supporting Gingka without caring about her reputation, losing respect from the students, however the situation escalated, when she got together with Gingka, more, envy for being the friend of a popular boy, They tried to tie her up with dirty and false rumors, although she didn’t care (because her priority was helping Gingka) one of the rumors affected her in a very bad way, so Gingka begged her to get away from him before worse, but it was too late for her, the harassment was so strong that she was terrified of leaving her room, luckily Tsubasa found out about her problem, denied every gossip and protecting her from possible attacks on her.

Yu Tendo

Despite his age, he is one of the most intelligent students, in boarding school he is known for being a very happy, sweet and quite intelligent boy who is dedicated to helping his classmates, but the truth is that he uses that image of a good boy to manipulate others and get what he wants, also, thanks to this he became the president of the student council. But despite all the above, Yu does worry about the situation of the students speaking for them while attacking Doji, he just needs a little motivation to do it because he hates working, but when he starts, he can’t stop.

Ryuga

Although Ryuga is the son of the principal, he is nothing more than an ordinary student who does not stand out much for his cold personality, his grades are average (NO), his school life is average, his popularity is average, but what is not average on him is his physical strength. He is the strongest of the prefects, however he is not in charge of monitoring dangerous students, since Doji is afraid that they will harm him, he is still responsible for the general application of the rules in the boarding school.
