When BoJack Horseman (2014-2020) said "you can't keep doing shitty things and then feel bad about yourself like that makes it ok. you need to be better" and "all we have are the connections we make" and "I really should've thought about the view from halfway down" and "sometimes you have to take responsibility for your own happiness" and "you do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around, you turn yourself around, THAT'S what it's all about" and "things have to get worse before they can get better" and "in real life, the big gesture isn't enough, you need to be consistent" and "if we hadn't met each other until now, we wouldn't be the people we are now" and, my personal favourite, "every day it gets a little easier, but you gotta do it every day, that's the hard part, but it does get easier".
I like how all of the villains have character songs. I need to add that to the good guys as well
I’m not sure you’re aware but ,Moon girl season 2 airs February 2. Are you watching it when it airs on Disney channel if you have cable the ratings where low last season , cause Disney sucks at marketing their animated shows. But we also have to watch it on Disney + on February 3 the most, and when they air it on YouTube. I’m not just saying only cable I’m saying please support this show. They are airing 2 episodes a week just like last season. Please watch the episodes when they air too.
Unfortunately they might be dropping 14 episodes on Disney + so watch them all in one day ,then but also when they air the first time. I’ve been told it will help Season 2 is going to be more story driven ,it’s at risk of getting canceled after 2 seasons,If the ratings arnt better. Especially on Disney + Disney is judging the show views on how many binge the show on February 3. Please don’t Disney screw this show over like the others.we need all the views we can get so help spread awareness of the series and what’s at stake here.
I got you. Don't worry. I don't have cable but I will watch as many episodes as I can on Disney+ and I will spread the word about it.
A persons fanfic tells you a lot about them, i , a fanfic writer, realize in terror

I have no idea what made me start watching AlRawabi School for Girls. I fall asleep to watching TV (I know, I know) & needed something to watch, it was pink, they're speaking Arabic, holy shit?? that's as far as I thought. Sometimes I like just choosing something at random, go out of my comfort zone or expectations. I didn't read about it, I just played it. I do recommend watching it, but wow. It hits REALLY HARD. I was not fucking prepared for any of it. It is not a light watch, it is triggering as hell, it just grabs you right by the throat & does not let go. And it does it all against near pristine pink backdrops, which is maybe my favorite commentary of it all, bc that is really what misogyny does in the first place, across the world. This is not my culture, I'm a white American man, but for whatever my opinion after watching it counts, I'll just say that I think it was fucking incredible. I think it showcased really well the nuances of bullying & all the forms it holds, from the teenage girls, their families, society. 'Bullying' doesn't even sound like a big enough word for it all. Violence against women in its forms. It's something you watch & just sit in absolute stunned silence by the end. It has fucked me up & I'm pretty sure that was its goal.
