The Autobots are always praised for their loyalty to Optimus but the Decepticons were the OG dickriders like don't even get me started on Tarn saying he'll stop beating the shit out of Megs if he returns to them and oh, oh, those Decepticons who tried to free Megs during his trial and Soundwave keeping an eye (cat) on him in case he's brainwashed. If Dying of the Light went on alternate route and Megatron got fed up with the scattered Decepticons' bs he'd just take command again and they would drop whatever the fuck they were doing to see what is quite literally the second coming of transformers jesus
