Adult Transgender Legislative Risk Map, November 2024
They're wanting to change the definition of water to see which water would qualify under the Clean Water Act...I wish I was making this up.
What this means, in layman's terms, is that not all water or wetlands would be under environmental protections, so some could legally be dumped in, scraped out of, or otherwise harmed.
The comment period for this is pretty short (just a few days left!) so please submit comments asking for ALL water to be protected.
A ceasefire does not mean the occupation has ended! The IOF has not withdrawn from Ghazzah and they are escalating their violence in the West Bank! So we need to continue doing our part!
Please consider donating to my dear friend, Suad Ahmad, @suad-khaled, (#279). She is a computer engineer and she has given birth to baby named Khaled. He is 6 months old and he has trouble breathing due to a respiratory infection in his chest! It has gotten to the point where he has trouble sleeping! So let's her help reach the short-term goal of 47K in the next 3 days! $46,585 USD has been raised. There is $415 left to go! You can match me! I have given $5, but you're more than welcome to give more!
Tagging for reach. Please leave a reply if you wish to be removed. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Mahmoud, and I am from North Gaza.
I recently created a donation campaign to support my family in buying food 🍞, medicine 💊, clothes 👕, and rebuilding our home 🏠 and lives after the devastating war 💔. Before the war, I worked as a computer engineer 💻 in a local company, but I lost my job and home when the conflict began. I also lost one of my brothers 🕊️, and another was severely injured 🤕. Now, I am responsible for providing for my entire family 👨👩👧👦.
Although a ceasefire agreement has been reached, our struggle is far from over. We are still living in harsh conditions, and we urgently need help to buy clothes, rebuild what was destroyed, and secure basic life essentials.
Please, do not ignore my message 🙏. I feel deeply ashamed 😞 to ask for money 💰, but this is my only way to help my family survive and recover. Sadly, I have not received enough support so far 😢. Even a small contribution can make a huge difference 🌟. Please, for the sake of Allah, donate to help us rebuild our lives 👐. I pray that Allah grants you more wealth 💵 and protects your family from harm 🤲.
Thank you for reading.

Those are my two littles. All I need for them to live a good life away from wars and famine.
I'm strong with your support. You can do it and make me read my goal.
Here we are waiting for food and this is so humiliating for us. Food here is not available and everything is so expinsive.
Also Eid El Fitr is coming and we need to buy new cloths for us to celebrate our Eid.

Calling all Brits on this hellsite.
We all saw Elon Musk do the nazi salute at the Trump inauguration. We know that he is influencing and fanning the flames of right wing political parties.
And that very well may include ours.
Because Elon Musk has pledged to donate $100 million to the Reform party. He has since mentioned that it might be hard to give such a large sum now.
But I don’t think we should take our chances. And I think we can agree that letting billionaires influence our countries politics is a terrible idea.
If you also agree here’s a link to a Parliament petition.
It calls for the government to remove loopholes that allow wealthy foreign individuals to make donations into UK political parties (e.g. by funnelling through UK registered companies).
As it is a parliament petition the government are required to debate it in parliament. But for that to happen it needs to reach 100,000 signatures.
Non British folk I’m afraid you guys can’t sign but I encourage you guys to reblog so that more people can see this.
Reblog if you answer tysm!🩷
Other than €5 (shout out to Ari!), this family of seven has not received any donations for three days!!
Moneer is still recovering from major surgery, so his immune system is vulnerable!! He is in a lot of pain and is also malnutritioned and in need of clean water and warmth!

Quick reminder as we head into Trump’s first week in office. We are about to see an onslaught of executive actions designed to strip of us our rights. We’ve seen this before.
Many of them won’t be legal, many of them won’t take effect immediately, and some of them will be just plain nonsense. Trump alone can’t change the law (yet anyway- that’s Congress) and there is an official government process for enacting most executive actions that works slowly.*
There will be time to fight against these orders—either by stopping them entirely, weakening them, or at least slowing them down.
The purpose of doing so many terrible things at once is to scare us. Is to intimidate us to cede more ground than we need to. Don’t let them.
Stay engaged, stay angry, stay hopeful (or spiteful- me tbh), and—most importantly—stay strategic. Find an organization you trust, follow them, and take action when they ask you to.
(Side note- pick just a few issues to care deeply about and only follow a few organizations you trust. Don’t try to solve everything all the time or consume every piece of news. You WILL burn yourself out and that’s not helpful for anyone. Trust me, speaking from experience. Staying 15% engaged is better than 120% for three months and then 0%).
What we’re seeing right now is a backlash to decades of progress—a dying (and by extension dangerous I’m not gonna lie) breath of those in power desperate to maintain control. They wouldn’t be trying to squash us if there wasn’t something to squash.
TL;DR- there’s gonna be a lot of bad stuff in the news today. Don’t give into panic. There will be time to fight most of it. Stay engaged.
*Unfortunately, there will be some actions the President can control on his own and will take effect immediately. ICE Raids being one of them. Here’s a Know Your Rights factsheet. To learn more and stay informed on this issue, recommend following National Immigration Law Center, CASA, Immigrant Defense Project.
Nanami episodes are known for being very silly but I really like how much more serious her duel episodes are. Her naivety is usually played for laughs but during these episodes we get to face the underlying but obvious reality that oh yeah Nanami is being emotionally manipulated by her brother into tying her entire sense of identity and self worth to him, believing she is becoming better by doing so when actually she is degrading herself to please him to the point she metaphorically turned into a cow at one point. That's not funny, that's fucking horrifying.
