When Mako first met you he knew you were trouble. From the way you were talking to how you acted,he knew.

You're the kind of person that says ACAB,very loudly, near a police station just to piss him off,and don't deny it.

Becoming friends was unusual to him,only for him to realize you're a really good friend but have odd ways of showing it.

One time this dude went off on Bolin, yelling something about his cabbages,until you appeared in front of him.

He swears he never saw someone go quiet that fast before. That's the first time he felt something for you(or so he thinks).

Mako would be reluctant in confessing to you. He would be worried you don't like him back or laugh about it in his face.

But it was nothing like that, because he didn't confess. You did. During a fight with the equalizers.

It was sorta funny really,for a few minutes mako thought he got knocked out and he was dreaming.

"Hey mako?" A punch in one's face, "What is it (Name)?" He dodges an attack.

"I like you!" You wink at him,after knocking an enemy out.

Yeah after you got rid of Amon's followers,Mako looked at you like you asked him to marry you.

It wasn't a shock when you got together, everyone shiped you.

The two of you are an amazing duo,bad ass boyfriend and even more bad ass girlfriend.

When he joined the police department,you joined him.

Now Mako knows your beautiful,and strong,but he still hates the way his colleagues undress you with their eyes.

God forbid anyone to try to ask you out without knowing you and Mako date.

It would sometimes create arguments between you two, Mako would say some harsh things,things he didn't mean. Of course the next day you'd make up.

But if it was for a girl to flirt with Mako, you wouldn't get all defensive because you trust him.

Now, leaving that aside.

One thing Mako noticed is that you can take good care of yourself,so you never were in need of help in combat.

But if it ever happens ,his whole world would crash,like if you're a bender, imagine Amon taking away your abilities.

Even without your bending you would be confident and strong,which makes Mako admire you more than before.

On top of it,you're great together and most of the people would say so.

Now Bolin here? Oh Bolin, when he first saw you his pupils turned to hearts,and I'm not joking.

Like,you would be over there with your cool car or cool motorcycle,and Bolin would gawk at you from across the street. He almost fainted when you crossed the street to start a conversation with him.

Of course Bolin would be a flustered mess every time you flirted with him.

Frankly all you wanted was a soft boy to match with your tough personality. The people who don't know you would think you'd prefer a boy with the same personality as you,but no, Bolin is the perfect boy.

Some people think you're intimidating,but not Bolin.

He knows you're badass,but he could never see you as scary.

He likes when you stand up for yourself,and for him.

One time Bolin happened to trip over this guy's cabbage stand,and he just flipped! Started yelling at the poor boy and all.

Until you came,you gave that man the coldest glare which made him shut up so quick. He couldn't lie to himself that he found it really attractive, especially in you.

I like to think that he confessed his love to you while you were saving him from Amon with the Krew. Imagine him just jumping on you , bawling his eyes out and telling you he's in love with you after he almost lost his bending.

Of course you accepted and returned his feelings,wich got the two of you in a long term relationship that is still strong.

A/N: I included Aang and Korra cause they're the Avatars, plus I'm in love with Korra.

Aang panics for a moment when he sees you're shaking and cold. Don't panic, like he is, he will warm you up right away. He takes your hands in his and lets you feel the warmth of his breath when he brings them close to his lips, not at all noticing as your cheeks warm up too at him holding your hands.

Zuko doesn't hesitate to pull you against his body and wrap his arms tightly and fully around you. He breaths out a little fire close to you, not enough to burn anything but enough to make you feel heat. Kissing could work too and he doesn't need to just keep it at your lips either, his lips are warm too after all.

Korra makes a fire all around you two so you're warm on all sides. While you lean on her shoulders you notice her stiffen for a moment, she's still a bit shy when you're so casually affectionate with her. When she's doing it it's fine but there's no time to dwell on that, you're cold so she has to hold you and warm you up.

Mako firstly makes a fire right in front of you so you can sit in front of it and he can sit behind you. Will give you his scarf if you need it, he doesn't want you to get cold from any part of your body being cold. What actually makes you shiver isn't the cold, it's him exposing a bit of your neck to kiss it.

Iroh II is very practical and knows he needs to act fast so you don't get sick. At the same time he will take this opportunity to point out how he did tell you to pack warmer clothes and you refused so you only have yourself to blame here. When you push yourself into his arms he gives you his jacket to make you even warmer.

Lockwood: i know you think my judgement is clouded because i like Lucy a little bit

"Yep. Looks like it’s game over for me.” You chuckled, holding up your Sacrifice card after the votes were counted. “Sweet Miss Sara made a pretty damn good detective, huh?”

Though as you looked towards the blue-suited woman, you could see her lower her head, her hands trembling as she refused to look at you. “C’mon, Sara..it’s alright-”

“H-How can it be alright with you..? You’re about to die.”

“....yeah, I know. I’d just be lying to myself if I said I was alright with it.” You sighed, putting a hand on her shoulder. 

She snapped her head up, allowing you to see her watering eyes. It was a heartbreaking sight for sure, but your gaze never wavered. “Had things gone differently..I would’ve chosen to escape with you. But..it looks like you’ll have to carry on--?”

Suddenly you were caught off-guard when she hugged you. It was a surprise, though you held her tight as you felt her tears soaking your clothes. “Hey, c’mon now...” You mumbled, frowning slightly. “It’s okay. I’m scared, too..I don’t want to leave you either.”

["I love you...”] 

[”........”]

“I-I..I love you.”

You felt your heart skip a beat when those words left Sara’s mouth. ‘Is that why she’s been so protective and emotional around me ever since we got here?’ “Sara..”

“I wanted to..say that for a long time..s-since I won’t get that chance again I-I just--” She gasped

“I love you, too.” Tilting her chin up, she saw your teary eyes as you kissed her cheek. “No matter what happens, keep surviving. If for no one else, survive for me, okay?”

She was in shock that you returned her feelings, though all she could do was nod as Miley finally grew impatient with all the “tear-jerking crap”.

Soon your execution began--with metal pipes called Wrigglers draining the blood from your body. It hurt like hell, and everyone around you could only watch--some were crying, others were shouting at Miley to stop, and the rest appeared completely numb. 

Despite all the pain, though, you kept smiling at Sara, who was desperately trying to stop the device with a clicker she was given. 

Sadly it was all for nothing...as your body went limp and the sadistic floormaster mocked her attempts to save you out of “pathetic human love”.

Despite the overwhelming guilt she held after moving onto the third floor--she did take comfort in the fact her feelings were returned..

Though that didn’t make the hallucinations of you any less painful.

Joe

“W-Well..at least everyone knows we traded cards..hah..hah...this sucks..” Joe ran a hand through his hair as he gazed at you, still in distraught you were the Sacrifice. “You wanted to escape with me, right?”

“That was..something I considered.” You sighed. “But I cracked at the end because I realized that would’ve been selfish of me. For us to live and for everyone else to die? I’d feel no better than that stupid doll.”

“HEY! I’m still here!” The Laughing Doll spat. “But I would’ve much rather seen you and lover-boy crumble into despair at your friends’ deaths, though I’ll accept this outcome~”

“Huh..?” You looked at her, confused. “Lover-boy?” 

“U-Uh..”

“..Joe?” It was then you noticed the brunette nervously sweating as he approached you.

“Damnit..I...never thought I’d be confessing this here but...I like ya, [y/n]!” He forced a smile. “Since I’m not gonna get this chance again I figured I’d get it off my chest--!”

Suddenly he felt his tie being grabbed as he pulled towards you, surprised as you gave him a brief peck on the lips. When you broke the kiss, he saw your smile and tearful eyes--which in turn made him tear up at the realization that...he was about to lose you. 

He was going to lose you and would never get to take you out on any dates. He even had a plan for the first one if you said “yes” to his confession.

“Hah..I-I knew you liked me. I mean who wouldn’t?” Sniffling, he hugged you tightly, not wanting you to see him cry even though it was obvious he was.

“I’m sorry, Joe..I..wish I got to spend more time with you.” You could feel him shake as you patted his back. Then you looked to Sara, seeing her nod solemnly. 

On your way to the Main Game, you had asked her to take care of Joe should anything happen to you and they both survived. And from her expression now, you knew she’d keep her promise.

As Miley finally executed you, Joe could only collapse to his knees, tears streaming down his face as he watched your life literally being drained from your body. It didn’t help that the clicker he was given only prolonged your suffering..

Why did things have to turn out this way? 

Why wasn’t he more stubborn in keeping his card?

Why would you...trade your life for his?
