“how long have they been yelling for?” toph asked with a groan. katara looked over to where sokka had dragged you off to the side to lecture you.

“i think twenty minutes. probably more.”

toph groaned louder. she slumped back, rising some dirt to cover her ears as she squeezed her eyes shut. “wake me up when they’re done.”

aang and katara just gave each other concerned looks as the yelling continued.

“you can’t control my actions, sokka!” you scoffed incredulously, fists clenched at your sides as your heart hammered with the anger bubbling in your chest. “i got us into that fight, and i got us out of it, too!”

“it was reckless!” sokka yelled for what seemed like the millionth time. “i don’t care how it started, you shouldn’t have put yourself in danger like that!”

“so what?” you retorted aggressively. 

“so you could’ve gotten hurt!”
