Over the past 9 months, dozens of hospitals have been severely damaged or destroyed entirely, hundreds of healthcare workers have been killed, and the Israeli government has blocked almost all aid from entering Gaza. This has left disabled Gazans with extremely limited access to vital healthcare. Additionally, many people have become disabled due to the genocide itself, through injuries, starvation, and trauma.
