in the google doc. straight up "writing it". and by "it", haha, well. let's justr say. Nothing
Sometimes I forget the real Enid and Wednesday are different from what we’ve all made up in our minds
And then I make myself forget again
My labor of love is finally finished.
Final Word count: 1,434,163 (before a big edit haha)
I am damn proud of myself for meeting my goal of starting and finishing an epic-length fic in less than 365 days (while working a full and part time job at that). This story helped me learn a lot about myself while writing it, and from the feedback, it seems like it’s helped other people along the way.
Thank you for all the love and support - look for new Wednesday fics from me sometime in 2024! Follow here for updates!
the one thing i want to be able to do as a writer is make people come back to something ive written. i want that piece of text to haunt them, i want their thoughts to be briefly consumed by this. i want this to be something they remember long after its time. thats the one thing i want to do
That sad moment when you plan an entire fic and realise you actually have to write it 😩😂
at the end of the day its the ones you finally wolf out for
worst part about getting angry is how much it makes you want to be mean
AO3 Comments are SO SO SOOOOOOO important because you can only leave Kudos ONCE. You add to the hit count ONCE (every 24 hours).
So whenever someone updates their fic, the ONLY way an author knows who their regular readers are is if they comment on each chapter. And we WANT to know who's still reading.
Believe it or not, some of us think about the name that pops up constantly in the comments and go "omg I can't wait to see what they think of THIS SPECIFIC SCENE cuz I KNOW they'll say something about it!!!"
I will fight for wenclair till the day I die
Some people get therapy others drown themselves fanfiction about pretty girls kissing. I believe everyone should try the latter but that's just me.
Whenever I get an email from ao3 saying "_____ left you Kudos!" or "_____ commented on ______" An extra week is added onto my lifespan. Remember to always give ao3 authors you enjoy kudos and comments to ensure they live forever.
