She’s still a pretty new OC, so these details might change later, but here are the ideas I have for her now.

Ok here goes: 

Name: Eloïse Eitzen

Gender: Cisgender female 

Age: 25

Sexuality: Demisexual 

Likes: Latin dance, Parkour and Ninja Warrior, racing video games, Zumba, Kickboxing aerobics, fashion 

Dislikes: Her cousin Klaus, boring jobs and activities 

Backstory: 

Eloïse is a female proboscis monkey, a younger cousin of Klaus Kickenklober. She and Klaus have a precarious relationship, as he was constantly tattling on her when she was a child. She was born to strict, stuffy, overprotective upper class parents, and even though she is an adult now, they still treat her like a child. Outwardly, she looks innocent and sophisticated due to her upbringing, but she has a rebellious, wild streak to her. Her parents sent her to the best schools, and she is extremely intelligent and resourceful. 

Her parents are always trying to “civilize” her by enrolling her in what she thinks are boring activities, like waltz and classical piano. They have very particular ideas about how girl monkeys should behave. As irritated as she is by her parents’ actions and viewpoints, she loves them and doesn’t want to disappoint them. So she lives a secret life unknown to them. They think she’s taking a waltz class, but she’s actually in Tango; they think she’s tutoring children in French in the evenings, but she’s actually drag racing; they think she teaches Yoga, but she actually volunteers as a Parkour coach. 

At some point her parents caught on to this and basically forced her to enroll in one of Klaus Kickenklober’s classical dance classes. It was his class specifically because he could vouch for if she showed up or not. It was here that she met Arlen, the name I gave the baboon dancer from Sing 2:

She was bored in Klaus’ class and hated his teaching style, but she stayed because she had a crush on Arlen. She and Arlen are now dating. Arlen is kind and good-natured, but a little on the clueless side, and he often accidentally gives Eloïse’s ruses away to her parents.

Eloïse, her parents, and Arlen are eating out at a posh restaurant. They all order alcoholic drinks, and since Eloïse looks young, the waiter asks to see her ID

Eloïse, going through her wallet: Oh no! I don’t have my driver’s license! I took it out to take a picture of it for a job application. It must still be on the table.

Arlen: Why don’t you just show them your pilot’s license?

Eloïse, elbowing him hard in the ribs and uttering under her breath: Arlen!!!! 😡

Eloïse’s dad: Pilot’s license??!

She is with her boyfriend, the unnamed baboon dancer from Klaus’ troop (“unnamed” but I call him Arlen ❣️). 

I’ve said this before, but @thecraftedmacaque thinks he can’t draw but then drops these amazing pieces of art 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Both of these characters are so hard to draw (Arlen’s facial structure and face fur omg 🤯), but he makes it look easy! They look so adorable together, thank you so much 💗 🐵 🐵 💗 🥹🥹🥹

I’m starting to feel absolutely spoiled by the fanart and the commissions! 🙈

I want to see an entire episode that’s about her and Alfonso 🥰 Maybe they could be hanging out with his sweetheart of an orangutan friend 🦧

It’s really weird how I’ve reached a point in my life where I both love and hate the same scene!

What’s to love:

Well, Meena, of course! She had definitely learned to talk about her concerns more since joining the New Moon Troupe! She isn’t comfortable with her first kiss being with someone she doesn’t know (and I sure hope that when Gunter told her about this, he said that she gets to kiss someone). She even opens up to Buster about never having a boyfriend “or any of that stuff”! SHE’S AWARE OF THE LGBQT+ COMMUNITY, PEOPLE! You can’t convince me otherwise!

“HEY, THIS GUY HASN’T GOT THE SHOW FIGURED OUT!”

Very funny comedic timing here! You may as well have just told everybody that Buster lied about the space opera! Technically, no! The show wasn’t a lie, but Clay totally was! I shouldn’t laugh about tattling and grassing up and stuff, but since I’ve been on the receiving end of it for years, I feel like I’ve got a free pass to how relatable I find the whole thing!

What’s to hate:

Well, the confusing editing of this whole scene!

Buster and Meena clearly start off right in front of the dance studio, once they walk away, it appears that they are now further away from the sliding door than when they started!

And here’s the massive elephant in the room… or lack thereof!

Meena slowly walks away just as Mason talks to Buster. You know that their exchange isn’t that long, so Meena couldn’t have gone that far either, right?

Well, then… WHERE IS SHE HERE?!?!?

Like, in a huge-ass crowd wearing nothing but blue, an elephant wearing a pink hoodie should NOT be hard to find right? Gunter is easy to see in this frame, so why shouldn’t Meena?

Now you may be saying, “Well, maybe she’s behind that background base or whatever it’s called!” Perhaps, but that’s beside the point! There’s also a potential agrgument of there being too many character models in frame as well. SO?!? You didn’t need every last worker there! All you had to do was pitch a few of them to make room for Meena!

So, yeah, Unless she has secretly been harboring some magic transportation powers or something, there is NO excuse for her not to be present in this shot, at least turning her head toward Mason and blushing heavily.

So, to introduce myself....

The Sing movies had such an enormous impact on me, including resurrecting a childhood love for anthropomorphic art. Also, I like monkeys and apes and love how they are EVERYWHERE in the Sing universe! 🙈

I wasn’t really much of a social media-er until I saw Sing 2 and fell in love with it and started Googling it obsessively, and that’s how I found Tumblr. So I am relatively new to Tumblr and fandom in general, actually. Sing is my first fandom. 

This is also my first blog, and I didn’t really know what to do with it for awhile. Now I can give a better idea of what it’s about:

• The Sing movies in general 

• Klaus Kickenklober, my favorite character, and other primates in those movies

• Sing OCs (mine and other people’s). Seeing everyone’s OCs is my favorite part of fandom. 

I love all of the Sing characters, but my favorite ones are Klaus, Marcus (the whole gorilla gang, really), Clay, and Nooshy.
