"So?" Puss’ red rose twirled between his claws.

"So, you should stop pursuing me, and go back to your soulmate," Death growled.

"Kitty and I have an open relationship. Sweet of you to worry, though," Puss purred.

"I’m not supposed to mingle with mortals! This is why I don’t have a mark!"

"That doesn’t sound like a ‘no,’" Puss caressed Death’s chin with the flower. "I don’t care what fate has to say. But I do care about your answer."

Despite his suave voice, the rose trembled in his paw.

Death took it.

My KuzuHina Your Name AU has just been updated!

The chapter count has, er, also been updated, because this chapter got too long and had to be cut in two. Knowing me, this might become a running gag.

Adding the tag opened my eyes to the tragic lack of Hajime Hinata & Natsumi Kuzuryuu friendship stories on AO3. It's not necessarily the main focus in my story, but it is still important, and I am happy to contribute.

Chapter 4 of The Broken Cup is out!

By which I mean: the second half of what was supposed to be one big chapter is out. Cutting it in two was probably for the best; a certain someone refused to get off the soapbox.
