I am Hani, a 26-year-old young man from Gaza. I no longer have anything but words, written by a trembling hand ✍️. The war didn’t just destroy our lives; it took everything from us. Today, I live in an unending nightmare. My Little Brother is Dying of Fear 😨

My little brother, seven years old, is dying of fear. His eyes never stop crying 😢. Every morning, with a voice choked by tears, he asks me: "When will we go back to our home?" But I have no answer. Every look in his eyes 👁️, every tear that falls from them 💧, crushes my heart 💔. How can I explain to him that the hope which once was our lifeline has now turned into nothing but a mirage?

The Night Only Adds to Our Pain 🌙

The night doesn’t bring us rest, it only adds to our pain. We sleep on hard ground, feeling the in every bone of our bodies 🥶, with nothing but pieces of cardboard 📦 to cover us. My older sister cries in silence 🥺 as she watches the future fade before her eyes. My sick mother, in desperate need of medical care 🩺💊, suffers in complete silence. My father, who was once the pillar of our family 👨‍👧‍👦, is now confined by his own weakness, unable to move or work.

We Are Nearing the End ⚰️

Every day we live brings us one step closer to the end. Death surrounds us from every side: if not from hunger 🍽️, then from illness 🦠. And if not from illness, then from the despair that devours our souls.

Where is Humanity? Where is the World? 🌍💔

Where are the people of compassion? Are you waiting for us to vanish into the depths of this suffering? Are you waiting until death takes us before you act? We are drowning, and we don’t have enough strength to scream for help 🆘. Will you let this cry go unanswered? 😭

I am 23 years old. I live under the bombardment and constant aggression against Gaza. Here we struggle with a life of constant death and loss. I lost a large part of my family. We also lost our house in which we used to live. We were displaced more than 10 times from one place to another, searching for safety. In fact, there is no safe place. We had many ambitions and hopes. I graduated from university and intended to travel, work, and many other things. But the war came and destroyed all that. We also had a source of livelihood and clothing shops.🇵🇸🍉

The occupation completely destroyed and burned them all, and we no longer have any source of livelihood. We also lack access to food and drinking water. We suffered from many diseases, such as hepatitis and malnutrition due to the lack of a suitable environment for life, and I had surgery to remove the gallbladder. Here we live in hunger and fear. My mother also suffers from chronic diseases and we cannot find a cure for them. Our lives are in danger. On October 7th, my family and I were subjected to an Israeli airstrike that completely destroyed our home. We miraculously survived the attack and fled to Al-Shifa Hospital, thinking it would be safer. However, this place was also in bombed, forcing us to escape once again. The hearts of my nieces and nephews, Nasser, Jana, Mohammed, and Hind, were filled with fear and terror. We struggled to pull them out from under the rubble amidst their screams and cries.

Our lives have turned into a living hell, surrounded by fire and phosphorus everywhere, as if we are trapped in a nightmare from which we cannot wake up. I developed a severe sensitivity to the smoke and phosphorus, and I began to suffer from respiratory issues. To this day, I continue to struggle with the effects of phosphorus exposure, and I have not found any treatment to alleviate my condition, which worsens day by day.

After fleeing to southern Gaza, we now live in a very small tent. We have no home, no food, and we are not living a humane life with even the minimum necessities. Our means of livelihood have been cut off, as my father's company was completely destroyed, with the machinery burned and the goods and vehicles turned to ashes.

I am Iyad, and my dream was to continue my university studies, but my university was destroyed, and my dream ended there. I have always aspired to study accounting and become an accountant.

I appeal to anyone with a sense of humanity to help me and my family escape to a safe place. I need assistance in treating my sensitivity and respiratory issues, as well as support to continue my education and fulfill my dream. I need travel abroad, receive medical treatment, and resume my studies.

I've been asked to write a post by @abuadam86 because she is really worried about her disabled son Adam. Adam is only 10 years old and he suffers from quadriplegia, which is a type of paralysis that causes a complete and severe loss of motor function on all 4 limbs and the body from the neck down! He requires a wheelchair to get around. Imagine how horrifying it must be when there you need to escape from a bombing, but you are not able to move and need a wheelchair to get to places and the streets are full of rubble!

Adam requires special food and medication, which is scarce in Gaza, and on the rare occasion it is available, very expensive!! Due to a lack of medicine, Adam suffers from frequent muscle spams! As a result of his condition, Adam also has difficulty swallowing and digesting food. Due to the lack of the special food he needs, he has lost 15 kg of weight! Moreover, he is also suffering from respiratory illness due to the polluted environment he is in! And Adam is only 10 years old!

Adam also have 3 siblings: Menna (12), Maria (6), and baby Ezz (1). They are now living in a tent that is not equipped to shield them from the cold. They do not have winter clothes, and most of the clothes they have are lying under the rubble. These children, in particular Adam, are suffering so much, and that is in addition to the frequent bombings!

I actually have a cousin who suffers from a sever loss of motor function in his body and also has difficulties swallowing and digesting food as a result. I just want to say that support (e.g. medicine, equipment, the special food) for such a condition is already hard to get in normal circumstances, and as a result my cousin seldom leaves the house.
