Thinkin about my sleepy ninjago hc post and ive decided actually wu and garmadon ALSO subconsciously make nests bc they’re part dragon. Wu’s better at making himself seem more human so his nests aren’t as obvious but they are there

Garmadon kinda. Stopped giving a fuck about how human he seemed as his corruption got worse, so his bed was more nest then mattress (misako just went with it bc she love her hubby 🥰 and woo nest cuddles are even more cozy)

Ninjago hc’s ✨Jaya skybound trauma edition✨

I saw someone talk about jay having scars from the alternate timeline, and I really like that! The idea that it’s not just their minds that rembered, but their bodies as well.

So jays littered with scars from his time on misfortunes keep, but nya also has a scar from the poison dart. It aches sometimes, it can get downright unbearable.

They both have nightmares from the whole ordeal, and normally the ninja are pretty open about their nightmares. But for these? How are they supposed to explain it? So they only have each other for comfort from these specific nightmares, which makes being apart all that much harder.

He DESPERATELY wanted to forget like everyone else got too. Yo jay it wasn’t fair he was stuck with these horrible memories (side note. I have heard that in dragons rising jays got a memory loss villain arch going on which could totally link into this ehehe)

Jay also has a fear of spiders now <3

His brain could never truly be "repaired" to its original state but you'll get some vicious side eyes from one Peter Spankoffski for ever referring to it as "broken". It's still his brother, and everyone adjusts to a new normal.

His internal clock is no longer linear; on good days his watch and many clocks and calendars keep him on track, but when he gets what Pete refers to as the "Time Scrambles", he gets foggy and mixed up, at which point someone will usually put on Borat for him and tell him to rest up till things make sense again.

Don't think Tinky doesn't try and wiggle his way back in; even if it's a bluff, being told "I'm coming for your ass" by a bright yellow demon goat doesn't help you sleep at night.

Ninjago headcanons: spinjitsu fam edition (spoiler free)

Lloyd and morro picked up a lot of the same mannerisms from Wu, however it’s a lot more obvious in morro and he can actually make tea properly.

Mystake is the auntie of the family I don’t make the rules.

FSM was just as “there’s something I haven’t told you” as Wu.

Not necessarily a hc but imagine the pain of watching your child slowly corrupt, knowing he’s going to be taken advantage of by the origin of evil and not being able to do ANYTHING about it
