My eldest son Zain's first year at school was a joy for his school, friends and teachers. His life was like the life of any child who dreams of everything beautiful.

My second son, Yahya, was in his first year of kindergarten,and he would wake up early, happy to go to his friends and play.

Or do they now wake up to the sounds of planes and explosions and feel ashamed when they stand in line to get food or water? A terrible difference between our lives in the past and the present. A year between our stable life and the life of war, no education, no games, no life, no security, and no source of income. How long, world, where is humanity, where are the rights of my children? Words from the Heart of Suffering: Our Hope Lies in You to Restore Our Lives 🇵🇸🍉💔

Our daily struggles continue to worsen, and life becomes increasingly difficult. We are still suffering, both mentally and physically, from extreme stress and constant anxiety. We have never been able to adapt to this life, not even for a single day. We long for our old days. We still suffer greatly. We struggle with the shortage of gas—when we try to prepare a meal for lunch, for example, we spend hours in front of the fire just to get a meal that can satisfy our hunger. We still suffer from the lack of water, wishing for the days when water flowed from the tap like before. We dream of returning to natural gas so we can cook with ease.

Our daily suffering has become unbearable. We are exhausted from the constant worry, stress, and the daily effort we exert. How can we return to our old days? How can we live again?

But we have hope in you. Your donations, your support—they give us hope that we might restore even a small part of our lives, or at least set us on the path to begin anew.
