“i’m sorry you got stuck here just because i asked a favor.” salem was really just looking for any excuse to hang out with someone to keep his mind distracted. he had cleaned his place up and put all of his alcohol out of site. the drugs his body had become accustomed to, he was having a harder time giving them up so he tried to limit how much he took. he still had a long way to go and he was already feeling antsy. “i didn’t think the snow would be so bad but um --- i can make you something? food? something warm to drink?”

“Yeah I’ve been coming into town more recently to visit you guys.” He smiles. “What have you been up to?”
“ Uh -- hanging out with friends.” None that Jack would recognize except Elva. “Work.” He shrugged. “Nothing here as fun as back home.”
It had been years since Salem heard that particular nickname, it was odd how Wyatt had been the only one to ever make the association. “Wyatt,” he breathed out the male’s name, removing his mask and moving forward to get a better look at him despite being unable to see his face completely. "It’s --- a lot’s happened but you’re here,” he started with a small smile, not really knowing what to say but he wanted to say something to the other.

Since the isle was opened and everyone left for Auradon, most people who had been close once, we now rarely seen, but with the ball so full, he assumed he would see some familiar people. He noticed the posture of one man immediately - you didn’t forget the way someone you once called best friend looked like. Making his way over to him, he smiled softly “Well Well, kitty kat.” he teased the other over his name since it was so synomenous with a cat.
the darkness takes us hostage and spits us out unmade. you try to put me back together but darling, some things cannot be saved.
the woods in me are black and deep, i can no longer be what you crave, Amrita C. (via sunrisesongs)
i rely a bit too heavily on alcohol and sarcasm.

Elva raised an eyebrow as Salem came towards her. Once upon a time they were friends, but…he became too chaotic. She missed him, of course, but she missed everyone. He was more in danger close to her than he was on his own, “What have you done?” She demanded, still walking wit him, “Could you look any more suspicious?”
“Yeah, actually, I can,” he retorted, fixing his eyes onto the path in front of them. He knew someone was following him and more than likely it had to due with a stunt he pulled in a bar last week. “And I didn’t do anything that someone else didn’t deserve.” It actually pained Salem to be dragging her into of his messes, knowing how much she wanted to avoid trouble.

♛ — “You’re telling me. Feel like everyone suggest I do something about my drinking but why should I if I enjoy it.” Charlie nodded as he walked with him to his place. “Beer sounds good but I wouldn’t mind taking a look at what hard stuff you have.” — ♛
“That’s the spirit!” He clapped him on the back, continuing further and thankful they didn’t have much farther to go. “Are you a tequila guy? No -- vodka! Is vodka your style?” He asked playfully.

not quite the reaction harry had grown accustomed to in auradon. “aye, that would be right.” now the boy had his full attention. it wasn’t every day that someone actually challenged a pirate of all people to a drinking contest. “really think ye can drink a pirate under the table?? alright, i’ll bite. ye got a deal. an’ i’ll be looking forward tae ‘earing all o’ ‘bout halloween town.”
the former ghost grinned when his offer was accepted. drinking against a pirate would certainly be a challenge but not one that salem couldn’t handle. “i think, never say never.” he chuckled, shaking his head excitedly. “sure. okay, so should we find a bar then?” or the skellington boy had plenty of alcohol at his place if the pirate rather do the contest in private.
For you, controlling your power is like finding peace.

“But you’re not sure?” Though phrased like a question, her tone made clear that it was anything but. That certainly seemed like something one ought to know about themself. “Well, you have to tell me all about what that’s like. I’ve never possessed someone myself. Never really saw the appeal of it.”
“That’s what I said.” The former ghost boy was hardly concerned with details, he had and always would be the reckless type. “Uh --- it’s like putting on a costume but with more feeling.” He chuckled, having no better way to describe the sensation. High or sober, he was no word smith.
