Oh gosh this… this was crazy. I really wish I went there earlier but the traffic was crazy. Basically what happened was, the group was leaving but Mark got out of the car to take a picture with me. And… I just have no words of how much that means to me. He got out to take a picture with someone who he doesn’t even know. It just… I’m so happy he did that. I was shaking and so awkward but I was still able to take this. I wish I could tell him how much he means to me but, we had to go. I wish I met the rest but, they were just waiting for Mark. Mark if you see this, thank you for letting me take this and being so kind. Thank you for helping me through all the tough times. Please continue doing what you’re doing. @markiplier

I love the Host with all my heart and soul, oh my gosh, I love him so much. I have no idea where this love suddenly came from, but I wanna blabber on about him forever. His Aesthetic. His origins. What he might be. I wanna write all the headcanons in the world for him. Heckity heck, I love the Host.

I’m starting to get why I love Unus Annus so much. Sure, the cursed content is great, but that’s not why I go back to it every day.

It’s Mark and Ethan’s friendship. It’s not that their friendship is particularly unique or somehow so much better than any other friendship. It’s just. A normal-ass bonding time. Just one guy daring the other to do something and then laughing when they fail miserably. Snickering at each other’s shared humor. Making sex jokes and seeing how much it takes to make the other break. Despite its mature content, Unus Annus reminds me of when I was ten years old, kicking a ball in the suburbs with my friends and telling them that they ain’t shit before I fall on my ass and make everyone laugh. It’s that pure good feeling that you get just hangin’ with your pals.

I saw a comment on the channel saying that Unus Annus feels like Markiplier Makes but without YouTube boundaries. And I think the reason why the Markiplier Makes series is so popular is because it’s just a twenty-minute recording of just friends hanging out and doing something dumb together.

I feel like Unus Annus has managed to take that innocent but chaotic joy of just being with the boys and made it a highlight of their whole channel. Maybe it wasn’t their intention, or maybe it was. But damn. Every time I click on a video, I’m always smiling at the end, and thinking to myself, “Wow. They are such good friends.”
