Hi guys my health has been getting worse and I have been having an issue that is causing me severe pain so bad that I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I can’t move without my pain meds. I have finally gotten ahold of the specialist I need to see, but my appointment isn’t for another month, and until then I’m just going to continue to be in pain, assuming I don’t die. I’m unemployed, I’m permanently disabled, I have no income whatsoever. I live with my mama and she can’t afford to pay for my meds either. Please help me, reblog this post if you can’t donate.

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!! NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE… Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911. i’ve not seen a lot in the media about this so i’m going to do my best to put this into words and explain what will happen if the government is successful in replacing the human rights act with the bill of rights (aka the rights removal bill).
this will mean that in the uk:
you won’t be allowed to say anything negative about the government
if you are disabled or chronically ill, you won’t be allowed to say no to being given a DNR in hospital
you won’t be allowed to bring ‘trivial’ human rights violations to court
public authorities (the police) won’t have to actively protect people’s human rights
the uk military will be allowed to basically do whatever they want overseas
if you ever commit a crime, they can disregard your human rights
the government will not be obligated to obey human rights
if you are from the uk PLEASE sign this petition, and also to everyone else, please please please share this.
Please I really need your help right now... I’m desperately scared of the end of the world because of climate disaster. Is there any hope left? It seems like the bad is outweighing the good more and more lately... I’m scared and I don’t want to die. Please help me... I need some sort of comfort right now...
Hey Anon. I’m so sorry that you’re having a bad time right now. It’s really vital to remember that many news sources thrive on dramatic, attention-getting stories, and it’s easier to accomplish this with bad news than with good. Just because you’re seeing a lot of doom and gloom doesn’t mean that is an accurate or balanced representation of what’s going on in the world.
Here are some posts that I think might help you: X X X X X. You can also find a lot of hopeful and positive news (from small local stories to big developments that have a worldwide impact) if you scroll through this blog.
The most important thing to remember is that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. You don’t have to save the world alone and you certainly don’t have to deal with your fear alone. There are many other people who feel the same way you do, and even more who are working to make sure that we have a future worth looking forward to. If you can, I really urge you to find a supportive community of other people working to make things better (volunteering is a great way to do this); this can go a long way towards building empowerment and staving off feelings of hopelessness.
I get a lot of asks like this and I wish I could give each and every one of you a hug and look you in the eyes and tell you that it’s going to be ok and that we’ll get through this together. Human societies have faced terrible obstacles with long odds before and come out on the other side. We can do this.
PS If you’re experiencing despair, hopelessness, anxiety, or intrusive thoughts that feel overwhelming and out of your control, please, please reach out to friends and family and seek out psychological resources.
