Prosperity Spell Jar
Made this spell jar because the past couple nights at work have been terrible money-wise (I'm a server so my tips vary). Therefore this little recipe was created. I hope this helps if you wanna make your own or are looking for ingredients for another purpose!
Ingredients:
Sea Salt and/or Black Salt - Protection Basil - Wealth, Success Fennel - Luck Mint - Change, Abundance Bay Leaves - Good Fortune, Success Cinnamon - Luck Frankincense Incense - Luck, Cleansing, Protection $1 Bill (optional) Incense Ash - Added Strength & Protection
Directions:
1. Cleanse jar with incense 2. Add in protection ingredients first to create a base layer to build your spell upon 3. Write your intention on a bay leaf, burn it to charge it, then add the ashes to the jar. 4. Add in all other ingredients 5. (Optional) Let the incense burn all the way down inside the jar 6. Seal jar closed with choice of wax. (ex. green, blue, silver, gold, whatever you associate money with) 7. (Optional) Add extra herbs on top of the jar and seal it with more wax
Then you're done! You can add affirmations and words out loud or on paper to the spell jar as well. Personalize it to how you feel is right! Enjoy your prosperity!
Blessed Be Always
🍀✨
I’ll be writing down the things I used, and in bold will be replacements you can use! I hope this inspires others, and gives people some new idea for future sabbats!
I know I said I’d post this on my account, @lovely-amethyst-witch, but this account has such a bigger following it would be easier to share on here to spread faster!
I think I’ll just show this on snapchat the next time around to show the process live. ( Let us know, if you’d like to see that)
Things I used: 🍂 🍎
Soy Wax ( 464 ) -Any Fall Colored and Scented Candle to remelt-
Nutmeg, Cinnamon sticks,Star Anise, and Cloves -These are Optional-
Autumn Scent for candle, I used Cinnamon and Vanilla ( and a splash of pumpkin spice)
A Container to put the candle in. -Any Jar will do-
Orange, Red and Brown Color Blocks
Thermometer
Pouring Pitcher ( for the candle wax)
Wooden Spoon ( one you won’t miss, you can’t use it for food again)
Knife to cut colored blocks ( one you won’t miss )
An old pot ( you can’t use it for food again)
Wicks and Wick Stickers -Needed for remelting candle-
First and foremost, all utensils used for candle making can not be used for food again. Don’t risk it, be safe and avoid any problems by mixing them.
Here are the steps I used: 🍂 🕯️
Prepare Candle Containers, place wicks using wick stickers in the center. Use a pencil ( or a wick holder) to keep the wick from moving as it cools.
Melt the wax on a double boiler, until it reached 170-180 degrees (Fahrenheit)
Cut colored blocks, use little chunks and mix into wax. Be sure the color blocks is completely melted, if not, then there will be chunks of color in your candle. ( it will still function perfectly fine, but it’s not as pretty.)
Take Wax off double boiler to cool it down to 135 degrees (Fahrenheit)
Turn off Stove, be safe!
Add Scent and stir, never use more than one ounce of scent per one pound of wax. Anything over will be too overpowering.
Carefully pour wax into containers, it’s okay if your wick holder moves, you can adjust it any time while the wax is still in liquid form.
Wait for it to firm up and add your fall scents! I choose Cinnamon, Star Anise, Nutmeg, and whole cloves!
Enjoy!
Simplified Version: 🍎 🕯️
Melt Candle of your choice on a double boiler, be very very careful not to burn yourself. Use oven mits to be safe.
Prepare new jar, place wick and wick sticker inside
Pour melted candle wax into new jar, be careful not to spill hot wax on your skin.
Allow Candle to solidify a little before adding any decor, if you don’t wait long enough it will sink into the candle itself; or will dent the candle wax.
Add the optional spices, decorate to your hearts content.
Enjoy!

I am having a wonderful time figuring out how to repurpose things in my house! This framed chicken wire was a christmas gift from my sister two years ago. It was meant to hang pictures on (which I did for awhile) however I took them off, meaning to change them for new ones, but then for the past year it has hung empty of anything. How sad!
But now look how useful it has become! I recently purchased some plants that I plan to dry and make witchy tub tea with. It was a perfect tool to allow me to hang them to dry. Here are a few tips when drying herbs:
Drying herbs:
Only tie together 5-6 stems in order to allow good air circulation. Could take 1-3 weeks to fully dry (depending on humidity) Larger leaves should be brittle before you take them down. But keep them in big pieces to retain as much of their scent as possible. Only store in paper bags or glass jars. Do not store in plastic bags as it can lead to condensation. For the larger leaves, only crumble when you are ready to use them, to release their essence.

What You Need:
black candle
a smooth stone, from a source of fresh water preferred
3 blackberries/5 elderberries/2 mulberries
½ teaspoon of olive oil
pepper
a pinch of sage
a few bay leaves
three petals plucked from a geranium
mortar and pestle (or something else to grind your herbs)
a glass jar with a lid
paintbrush (using your finger can also work!)
Method:
▽ Grind up your herbs and petals with your mortar and pestle, and once thoroughly blended, scrape them into your jar.
▽ Next, grab your berries and either use your mortar and pestle to grind them up, or use your hands to turn them to mush before throwing them into your jar.
▽ Carefully measure the olive oil with a ½ teaspoon and pour it into your jar, and throw in the amount of (ground) pepper you see fit. Remember that pepper is a powerful substance used in protection spells.
▽ Once all your components are in your jar, blend them all together using a fork, making sure to mix it up until it resembles a paste. If it still looks chunky, try adding a little bit more olive oil.
▽ Lighting your black candle, say an incantation or pray to your deity as you dip your paintbrush (or finger) into your protection paste, and paint a protection sigil/marking onto your stone. Some sigils I recommend can be found here, here, here, and here. An example incantation could go like this:
Blessed Divines, so loving and kind, Watch over me, and all that is mine; Please erase my fears, I will cry no tears; Let no such harm or hurt come to me, This here is my will, so Mote It Be. ▽ When you finish painting your new protection stone, blow out the black candle and seal your glass jar with the lid. Whenever you feel the need to take extra precautions, just repaint your stone to give it a stronger intent! And there you have it! If you make your intention a lot more specific, (eg: I will feel safe when walking home, or I will be safe from nightmares), keep it in your pocket, or have it under your pillow.
To guard against sorrow
Four white candles, 6 to 8in long
One yellow candle, 6 to 8in long
Cinnamon incense in holder
Matches or lighter
Pen
One small disk of oak wood cut from a severed branch
One can of clear varnish
One 24in long cord
Timing: cast this spell on a waxing moon, and on a Sunday, ruled by the sun, patron of health and happiness
☀Cast a circle if that’s what your tradition calls for.
☀Place the candles in a row, with the yellow candle in the center.
☀Light the incense stick and all the white candles.
☀Using the pen, draw a circle in the center of the disk, surrounded by points to represent the rays of sun.
☀In the center of the circle, write:
Salve
Sol
☀Like the yellow candle, saying:
I invoke the powers of the life-giving Sun
I invoke the power of the sun’s fires
That sorrow be burned away
And happiness revealed
☀Allow the ink to dry in the light of the candles until they’re all burned down.
☀After, drill a hole near the edge of the desk. Varnish it to protect the ink markings. Then thread through it with the cord and wear it around your neck at all times.

new moon: setting intentions. active energy.
waxing crescent moon: resting, focusing. passive energy.
first quarter moon: taking action. active energy.
waxing gibbous moon: trusting, holding faith. passive energy.
full moon: acknowledging. active energy.
waning gibbous moon/disseminating moon: receiving, expressing gratitude. passive energy.
last quarter moon: returning, giving thanks. active energy.
waning crescent moon/balsamic moon: reflecting, resting, restoring. passive energy.
new moon: the moon is literally new. a rebirth. use this moon for intentions to do with fresh beginnings, starting again, cleansing.
waxing moons: the moon is increasing its size, it is opening; use these moons for intentions about gaining, growing or expanding.
full moon: the moon is at full charge, and can be the most powerful phase in the moon cycle. use this moon for intentions to do with power, clarity, or psychic ability.
waning moons: the moon is decreasing its size, it is closing; use these moons for intentions about ridding yourself of something (or someone), or purging.
application to the craft:
focus is the most important aspect of bringing an intent to manifest itself. focusing your energy can be made simpler by working with a compatible energy in the world as you focus that intent.
if the world around you is releasing an energy complementary to yours, it can be easier for that energy to find its way into reality; as opposed to facing any natural adversity.
cast passive energy intents in passive phases of the moon. (tranquility, creativity)
cast active energy intents in active phases of the moon. (strength, control)
this, in my opinion, is the concept of “the power of thought.” when more than one person thinks a thought, that thought holds more weight. this could explain why people practicing or praying together can often yield stronger, or more immediate results. it is a similar reasoning as incorporating tools and ritual into magick, as well.
your energy is a power in itself. but using the power of the elements, the environments, and the world can serve to add to that power.
Your alter should be as unique and personal as you are. It’s a reflection of your space and your connection to your spirits. It should have anything on there that you feel connected to and stirs up magic inside yourself. So even though this is how I set up my alter there aren’t really any ‘rules’. Your alter can be as formal or informal as you like.
Crystals are one of the main things I keep on my alter. A lot of my crystals are small and I usually rotate them out depending on my mood or what I want to influence me or a situation I’m in. Currently I have a bunch of moonstones on there from the Full Moon the other day. I used them during my reading so I wanted to keep that energy present.
I have a little bit of sage in a abalone shell left over from prior cleansing work. I keep that up on the alter too. I never toss out the soot from the burned incense just in case I need black salt for later. (I have heard about the shortage of sage so this is my last bit. I think in future I’ll switch up what I’m burning maybe Frankincense next time?)
Sometimes I don’t have candles up there but I do like them for a fire element representation. My current obsession are white votives in clear glass holders I picked up from the dollar store. I like them because I can purchase so many. Next time I think I’ll grab some pillars and have the back of the alter lined with different sized candles.
I also use seashells for my alter, mostly for a water representation. I always like to have elemental displays just for balance. The other day I swapped out the shells for a jar of moon water though.
Other things I have on my alter are things that represent my ancestors, small animal bones (naturally collected), and eggshells. Some of my other favorites to put on my alter are seeds, salt, flowers or herbs, coins, oils, sticks or rocks or anything that feels like it just goes there and adds it’s energy to that space.
Yule Positive Spell
♡Happy Solstice!!! Hope you all have a merry Yule!!!♡ We want you to finish this year with the best of energy and positive vibes, so here below will be the steps to take in this longest night of the year.
Gather your items and light the candle. You don’t have to pronounce words but if it helps you visualize, you can do it. Think of how the fire of the candle will cleanse your loved ones and your soul.
Place the red ribbon in the bottle and thing of how this color is the color of love and how it connects you all.
Place the cinnamon with the chestnuts and imagine its all your loved ones together and yourself in this peaceful night even if you wont be able to see them all.
Write your intention on the paper. Any positive emotion or wish you want them all to have.
Put the paper in the bottle and grab the candle. Drip the melted wax on the contents inside.
You can keep thinking on this peaceful moment and the positive energy you are creating to charge yourself more.
