We're 350$ behind on rent, which isn't a lot, but the landlady refuses to cancel the eviction if we can pay it. I think its because she found out I'm trans? She's been really rude to me ever since. Idk. I've been applying to apartments nonstop, but our credit is poor and an eviction makes finding a place that isn't run by a slumlord almost impossible. We're going to be homeless in a few days ... and the only option I see for the short term is an extended stay motel, and contacting every suitable craigslist rental listing I see.
