Summary: {Picking up right where the finale left off.} Watching as the door to the cockpit closed in front of her, Omega froze in her place. Everyone was aboard, except for one brother who stayed behind. The sight of the lone Crosshair disappeared behind the durasteel doors. For the last time, the Marauder broke through the planet’s atmosphere. Never to return.

Finally found a Fanfiction for Crosshair and Omega who are my favorite characters and duo’s!!! Need more of them plus anyone make Fanfictions for them!!! Together too :).

I wish this actually happened! The finale really shook me!

The Silence Brings Me Home

Hey! This is my first fanfic so I hope you all enjoy it! I was inspired by an illustration I saw of Crosshair sobbing and holding Lula for comfort (which I cannot find for the life of me, if I do eventually I’ll link it). I meant to get his done before ep. 11 Devil’s Deal (and especially before this week’s) because we still didn’t know what Cross looked like at that point, but I’m slow and here we are. There is some fanart I did at the end, I’ve only recently gotten back into drawing after a long time, so it might be a little rough sorry!

Summary: The Batch get Crosshair back, but what he has, and almost done haunts him. Comfort is given in the simplest of ways: by being presen for the healing.

Warnings: Mention of blood/injury, killing/murder. Heavy angst with comfort. Self loathing ideation.The beginnings of a family healing together from trauma.

It was as close as it got to silent within the Havoc Marauder. The ship always faintly hummed as it cruised through space; the engines and various systems constantly working away in the background via a complicated web of technology and wiring, maintained by the Batch’s resident genius. Rumors were, if someone listened close enough as a ship passed through hyperspace, they could faintly hear the sound of the decillions of particles out there passing around the ship. Something like sand blasting the outside of the hull, but with a bell-like, ringing, song. It was that sort of silence that found all six of the inhabitants within the Marauder.

Tech, the aforementioned genius, was nursing a new goose egg on his forehead with a cold compress while attempting to repair a hairline fracture in one of his goggles lenses. Echo sat across from him helping to guide the nearly blind man in his endeavour. Besides a myriad of small cuts and new bruises, Echo’s left leg lay detached and balanced on his lap, waiting for attention from Tech for a recently smoking blaster hole through the calf. Laying in his bunk, Wrecker was also nursing a new blaster wound: the bolt having ripped through his armour and taken a chunk out of his right bicep. He lay quietly, making sure to stay off his wound so the bacta could do its work and trying to process the events of the day. Remembering the adrenaline and the genuine moment of fear he’d had, but smiling nonetheless. Foreword in the front of the ship, Hunter sat quietly, his face kriffing hurting, his nose having to have been reset after being knocked out of joint. He’d definitely taken a beating, he’d be feeling everything that currently hurt fivefold tomorrow, but the wounds could have been worse. Everything could have been much worse. What could have been was an ache that never faded and a silence that was never filled.

I rewatched the season finale and I want to cry again, but not only because of Tech.

Look how scared Omega is when Hemlock took her on Mt. Tantiss. She is all alone, grieving Tech, thinking Wrecker, Hunter and Echo were captured too, and she doesn't know what happened to them.

Nala Se, a woman who raised her, that was probably like a mother figure to Omega, now doesn't even say a word to her. Omega doesn't know where she is and why she was brought there.

Our little one may be capable, trained and skilled, but she is still a child. She is also in great pain right now. Without her brothers, she feels vulnerable and scared.

I want to cry, cause look at her being relieved to see Crosshair. No matter what has happened between them in the past, he is still her brother. And she is not alone in that scary place anymore.

And Omega being brought to Mt. Tantiss will be the reason for Crosshair to fight. They will become each other's hope and "the one I need to protect".

They are not alone anymore.

SOMEONE FAVORITE SIBLING DUO IN ALL OF STAR WARS!!!!! And Omega and Grogu are my favorite characters of ALL TIME!!!! I wish I could find more of ANYTHING Omega and Cross

Look at her stuff, I LOVE EVERYTHING!!!! Anyone who follows me might know my few obsessions that help get me through my many chronic illnesses (both mental & physical from both childhood trauma, adult & military service/injuries) & as a disabled vet. I can’t work or drive anymore, so I’ve lost a lot of my family & friends. Being able to talk to people who love what I love WITHOUT JUDGEMENT!

All of those of you who’s art, convos, & Fanfictions I follow/read mean SO very much to me! Thank you ALL so much! I do WISH I could find more Omega Fanfictions that have Crosshair in it (I don’t like romantic relationships with the batchers, Like focusing on dynamics of the character’s, if that makes ANY SENSE AT ALL. I think I’m the ONLY PERSON IN THIS FANDOM lol)! OR ANYTHING with Omega & Fives in it!!!! Haha DONT think I will find Fives & Omega (minus the one sent by a wonderful person recently)

I LOVE Omega and Crosshair!!!! He needs to come home and bond with Omega lol!!!! Please for my own sanity and because people are NOT making enough fanfictions with these two...unless I’m just not finding many (only know of three sites that are for fanfiction).

Hawaii Island Hopping - Getting From One Island to Another

Hawaii is my number one bucket list things of all time! I know I’m a disabled veteran with a lot of limitations (due to different chronic illnesses and mental health illnesses I have unfortunately partly due to my injuries in the military), BUT I can still have dreams and aim for them! I still love Hiking, Lighthouses, anything nature (green and blue), history, language (teaching myself Hawaiian), culture, etc etc you name it I love and Hawaii has it. Probably one of the most extraordinary places to visit! And I WILL get there one day!

Oh and for my TBB/SW friends I will DEFINITELY be wearing my TBB and Grogu aka Baby Yoda shirts lol (I have a TON of them but especially for the lateral haha).

I know there are FAR AND FEW between that are interested in learning Hawaiian lol!!! I have never been there (maybe some day lol!)
