Calling ANYONE who loves The Bad Batch Omega and Crosshair especially the future (hopefully) of these two amazing characters!!!! Read this Fanfiction on MORE than once on more than one occasion. In which I fix The Bad Batch’s season finale.

Crosshair considered him and the kid even…but then she had to go and make things complicated.

Set directly post-episode 16: Kamino Lost. An alternate ending to the season, where Crosshair goes with his family and they discover the malicious chip keeping him hostage. Omega gains her lost brother, unknowingly saving him from himself.

What I found interesting about Crosshair's message to the Batch is that the satellite got shut down before he finished it.

Not talking about the cut off 'Omega', more like we're shown the satellite connection severed before he continues, telling them to hide.

He doesn't know that, he gets cut off by the gas and then the room locking shut.

So the entirety of the message Tech found would have been just. "Plan 88."

So not only do the batch not know that Omega specifically, is being targeted, they didn't hear Crosshair telling them to hide.

One, the plan meaning 'we/you are being targeted', could read as a threat if this was actually a ruse, so Hunter's suspicion isn't completely off-target given his last encounters with Cross.

and Two, Crosshair thinks he told the Batch to hide, (which is why I think the tears in his eyes are there when he's tortured at the end, he's resigned, he's gone through worse without crying) so he has no reason to believe that they would come for him.

First off, this is great and hilarious and filled my heart with happiness because you ADDED Crosshair in it and a quick interaction with him and Omega (they are my favorite characters and pairing for the brothers and sister).

OMG I LOVE THIS POST!!!!!!! My ultimate favorite doesn’t seem like most people’s from what I’ve seen is Omega. I don’t know why but I have a HUGE obsession with Crosshair and Omega together as a pairing. I wish I could find more content with the two of them in it! ESPECIALLY centering around Crosshair and Omega but it is SO HARD to find unfortunately. If possible please tag me in anything relating to these two, I’ve been looking up their thread together but not much with those two :(.

“We have arrived.” Tech said as he lowered the Havoc Marauder onto the planet’s surface.

Omega heard his words from the hold where she had been sitting beside Crosshair while he disassembled and cleaned his rifle. She could feel the landing gear hit the ground, softly rocking the ship as Tech landed it.

She immediately sprung to her feet, buzzing with the anticipation of seeing another new planet. She heard Crosshair shifting behind her as she rushed to the cockpit.

They’d gotten into a firefight while on a job for Cid and Tech had told them that their engine was too damaged to make it back to Ord Mantell. So they had to make a quick stop for repairs.

Omega had to push her way past Wrecker’s hulking frame in one of the back seats to get a clear view of the cockpit. When she did, she stopped in awe.
