Hey y'all, I've got to give a quick more OOC-focused update. A month or so ago I went through a huge energy crash I'm still kinda recovering from due to spreading myself too thin trying to keep up with too many things and do too many things at once.

I'm going to try to have a presence here again but I think I'm going to have to unfollow blogs that don't form a core relationship for my OCs because I simply don't have the energy to keep up with that much these days. Please don't read anything personal into it, I am just exhausted and have been at my limit for too long and I need my RP dash to be one I can easily catch up on in a few minutes.

You don’t have to be nice to my character. You don’t have to hold your character back. I am perfectly okay with consequences. I don’t consider powerful characters using those powers to be godmodding. Some things might require a little bit of a chat before hand, but go crazy, kids. Conflict is part of story telling. 

I've never actually done RP in FFXIV but one of the things I really loved from the RP community was how people would add "RP hooks" to their character profiles. Exactly what you would expect, just a list of things that would serve as a good jumping off point for people who wanted to RP with that character and it's such a great idea I'm surprised it isn't more widespread in RP communities in general.

doomed by the narrative but not to death. doomed to survive. doomed to stay alive inside the story. doomed to never escape the narrative, not even through death. you are allowed no exit. there is no way out for you and there never was. you couldn’t die if you wanted to. the narrative has a hold on you and it won’t let go. death is too sweet a doom for you. the story has something much worse in mind. there is no way out.

God I'm a sucker for characters who are so utterly loyal to someone that they're completely unhinged. Characters who have no moral compass except their overwhelming devotion to whoever they've chosen to listen to. That's the good shit

okay this isn't how I'm going to actually make a decision but I'm curious since I got likes, who would you be most interested in interacting with? 👀
