OMG - Serena - Slay

FEELING VERY WONKY! At 104° outside Lady V & I decided to work TOGETHER to make baked chicken. After she pulled out the glass casserole dish from oven I removed the chicken & began deglazing it on stove top over medium heat. I had just put a sauté pan on back burner & started a roux for sauce when the casserole dish EXPLODED in a 100 piece! 😲 Luckily I wasn't injured, but being in socks & with my foot neuropathy, V & Zev shooed me away, so I didn't unknowingly pierce myself, as they vacuumed, swept & picked-up all of the shards of glass. Still feeling traumatized & nerves are on edge. Nevertheless, my wife's seasoning on the chicken is the bomb! Her secret; she'll say LOVE, but actually, it's tarragon! 😁

Most of life is a series of grinning & bearing it. As William Shakespeare wrote, 'A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool'. So I play the fool! Say cheese! 😁
