If you got hurt from battle or something legitimately outside of your control, he's going to treat you like a prince while in his care. Gentle voice, making sure you get plenty of rest, helping you get positioned on the berth in a comfortable way, etc.

If you got hurt from something avoidable but to avoid it would result in harm coming to someone else, you get lectured while receiving most of the same care as listed above. Like, Mirage jumping in front of Noah because he'd be hurt but Noah would be killed. Or Bumblebee getting talent by the humans protecting Sam and Mikayla. Avoidable but doing so would hurt others so you get a lecture but it's affectionate.

If you got hurt doing something stupid he TOLD you not to do, you better hope it kills you, because otherwise he will. Sideswipe trying to Tokyo drift on a frozen lake and falling through the ice? Literally the entire Autobot base can hear Ratchet lecturing him from the Medbay.
