dj takes the wine from her, taking a sip. he doesn't really like wine that much, admittedly, but he's not about to refuse something maya's offering him. he takes a second sip for good measure before handing it back to her with a chuckle, "i would love to see ya officiate. i feel like you'd have a really good opening monologue. or sermon? i guess it isn't a sermon if you're not a priest or something." his cheeks redden a bit and he shrugs, "y'know what i mean anyway." he feels like he's usually a little more charming than this, or, at least, a little smoother. he's trying to reign in the nervous energy, especially now that he's standing so close, he's afraid it's oozing off of him, affecting the vibe. "really nice, huh? what's that look like? getting you refills every half hour? carrying your shoes when your feet start to hurt?" he teases, recovering his 'cool' just a little, he thinks.
