AAGHH I just read this book and I love it sooo much!!!!!!!

Book Review: Snapdragon by Kat Leyh

I was hoping for a good read, but this really blew me away! Snapdragon is the story of a girl who accidentally strikes up a friendship with an old lady the town believes is a witch. Of course, the lady does assemble roadkill skeletons into statues, but that doesn't mean she actually is a witch... right? And it's not like Snap would be interested in learning... With a heartfelt story about friendship, magic, and family, Snapdragon is such a beautiful, diverse story. From intergenerational friendships to transgender characters to sapphic couples, this graphic novel covers a lot for only 230-ish pages. And yet, despite its brevity, this book has such a completeness to it, with vibrant world-building, magic, and intertwining storylines that all find their own ending. Simply lovely and wonderful to read - highly, highly recommend!!
