antes mesmo de conseguir encaixar a chave na porta e largar as sacolas, você escuta sons de risadas, pulos e brinquedos sendo esparramados e derrubados pelo chão do apartamento. já imaginando a cena, você gira a maçaneta e encontra uma das cenas mais fofas e que, com toda a certeza, vai ficar marcada na sua mente por longos anos.

beto estava sentado no tapete do chão da sala junto com o seu filho e os brinquedos dele, várias peças de lego e hotwheels espalhadas no chão. rafa estava com um sorriso de orelha a orelha, gargalhava só de ver o seu pai montando a torre de lego e tentando equilibrar a pista do hotwheels, assim como ele pediu. beto não estava diferente, era só sorrisos e risos nasalados, tentando não se mexer demais pra pista não cair de novo.

você fica ali, parada na porta, observando por um tempo, até que seu filho olha em direção a porta e corre pra te dar um abraço. largando todas as sacolas que estavam penduradas nos braços e nas mãos, você se agacha pra dar um abraço bem, bem apertado nele. seguindo os movimentos do filho, beto se levanta, vai até vocês e espera o rafa se desgrudar um pouco pra te recepcionar com um beijo singelo.

até que tirar uma folga pra ter um dia assim fora do trabalho não era ruim e, com plena certeza, beto tiraria mais vezes pra passar um tempo com o seu pequeno paraíso.

na cabeça dele, ele estava normal e você que não entendia o que o bope cobra, que você era, de alguma forma, descolada da realidade por pedir que ele agisse com mais cautela e calma.

você, que estava sentada no sofá de casa, assistindo tv, só o observou chegando em casa, tirando os sapatos, indo ao banheiro, muito calado. não esperava que ele fosse se descontrolar tanto com o fraga falando sobre o bope – pra ser mais específica, sobre a operação que o beto havia comandado naquela tarde – a ponto de gritar com você.

"o que esse merda tá falando? ele não sabe de porra nenhuma que aconteceu hoje!", a voz dele já começava a mudar, o seu tom agressivo, trêmulo e mais alto.

"beto, não foi isso que eu quis diz-", ele logo interrompe, "E VOCÊ QUIS DIZER O QUÊ? HÃ? vai proteger vagabundo na casa do caralho, porra. eu chego em casa depois de uma operação desgraçada que matou um dos meus homens, achando que eu ia me acalmar, que eu só ia tomar banho e deitar com a minha mulher, mas não. meu deus, que dia de merda.", você ficou perplexa, sem reação até. não sabia que isso havia acontecido, você só tinha visto as críticas do fraga, não fazia muito tempo que você tinha chegado em casa pra ter pego a informação completa, nem tinha passado pela sua cabeça perguntar o que tinha acontecido pro seu marido.

"beto... eu... eu sinto muito, eu não sabia disso...", você diz com a voz quebrando. "claro que não sabia, mal falam disso e você não perguntou...", responde ele já olhando pro chão, sem jeito e com um nó na garganta.

"vem aqui, vem. me desculpa, amor, de verdade. eu deveria ter perguntado primeiro antes de julgar.", você se levantou, puxando ele para um abraço apertado.

beto, com o rosto enterrado no seu pescoço, mãos e braços circulando o seu corpo com força, começou a chorar e soluçar, seu corpo tremendo de desespero e dando solavancos.

"shh, shh, pode chorar, vai passar...", disse você enquanto fazia um cafuné no cabelo e carinho nas costas dele para tentar acalmá-lo. "eu só queria mudar esse sistema de merda, não queria mais ter que ficar nessa insegurança de perder homens, pensar se eu volto pra casa vivo ou não, se as pessoas vão conseguir ter uma vida boa, se você tá segura... me perdoa, me perdoa por não conseguir mudar essa merda.", a cada palavra solta, um soluço saia junto, até o choro se intensificar no final da frase dele.

"não pensa assim, beto, por favor. não foi você que criou esse sistema, você sabe que você sozinho não muda tudo, o problema tá enraizado, vida... você me protege, você é forte, eu sei que eu posso confiar a minha vida às suas mãos, você me provou isso. eu te amo e muito, isso não vai mudar".

os minutos se passam, vocês acabam indo pro quarto, ainda abraçados. beto demorou pra se acalmar, ainda soltava uns soluços avulsos, mas já havia parado de chorar. você murmurava o ritmo de uma canção pra mudar o foco da atenção dele, estava dando certo.

"eu sou muito sortudo por ter você do meu lado. muito obrigado, de verdade. eu te amo muito, meu amor.", ele murmurou tão baixo que quase saiu como um sussurro, logo pegando no sono.

ainda fazendo um cafuné leve, você respondeu um "não mais do que eu." baixinho para não acordá-lo, dando um beijo na testa, se aninhando mais a ele e se entregando ao cansaço do dia e do conforto do abraço do seu marido.

after izuku had to give up one for everyone he realized that he could continue to talk, analyze and teach about quirks, of course it wasn't the same thing as being a hero, but he would still be in touch with this world he loves so much.

you followed this closely, studied with him and class 1-a, graduated with them and being one of his best friends, watched how he studied to be a teacher, you knew he was going to be an incredible teacher.

you also saw how the loss of one for all hit izuku, after all, it was his dream to become a pro hero along with his friends. the years without having much contact with his classmates were very hard, he understood that everyone was busy, including you.

but 4 years after high school, the situation changed.

you were closer than ever, even with your busy schedule. you went to his house to keep him company while he studied, went out with him to buy other all might collectibles, several trips to convenience stores to eat ramen after a day full of offenders and different quirks, you went to the movies on your day off... it was already to be expected that both you and him would develop at least one little crush, not to mention the previous years in ua, the two of you were attached.

as the months went by, their outings turned into romantic dates, which after a while turned into a dating proposal.

on izuku's first day as a teacher at ua, he was so, so nervous, his feeling of accomplishment, for being a teacher at the school where he studied, where his old teacher works, at one of the best hero schools in the country and the world, it was rewarding. your pride in seeing him happy with how eager and excited he was to start was almost overwhelming for you. even more so after he commented that several students recognized him from the big final fight with shigaraki, he became an inspiration for the younger ones just as all might was his inspiration.

when all might came up with the idea of raising money for tech equipment for izuku, you were one of the first to agree. everyone from 1-a helped with the fundraising, especially you and katsuki. it took years to save money and deposit it to make the armor.

on a particular day, after izuku had met dai on the street, you and all might went after him to talk, more toshinori than you, since he was his mentor. katsuki was inside a helicopter a few meters away from you. you had the suitcase where the armor was stored, made of high technology, the perfect design for your boyfriend.

"technology evolves just like quirks, take this to heart, kid. you've earned this power too, fair and square". his expression of shock, excitement and how he was moved by the gesture of the people he considers and loves was like a reward for all these years. seeing the person you love so much fulfilling their biggest dream is so touching, it's one of the most pleasant sensations to feel, being part of it is even more pleasant.

he thanked, first to toshinori, then to you, with a tight hug, his face hidden in your neck, small kisses being distributed between your neck, shoulder, jaw, cheek, until he reached your mouth. a calm, sweet and affectionate kiss.

"come on, deku!", katsuki, who was watching from afar, calls izuku to enter and leave for the destination where izuku, you and class 1-a would reunite once again to fight evil.
