Normally her time down there was spent in off hours, trying to seem like her presence there was organic and not meant to monopolize the hours of their Chief Engineer. Though no such pleasantry would be the order of her visit, because despite Scotty’s best efforts — recalibrating the communications array was presenting to be a more formidable adversary than the most battle hardened of Klingons.
