I know we make fun of Kevin and Neil’s habit of thinking only of exy right after something traumatic happens (Seth's death, Neil's focus on his racket after Andrew’s attack, the bloody happy birthday jr.). But I think some people overlook that it's a trauma response and a very well written one at that. It's a form of disassociation that, on the outside, looks very dismissive, disconnected, or irrelevant from what's actually happening. Both of them turn to exy because it's mentally a safe place for them, and focusing on it is their brain's way of feeling a little in control of the situation.
Chapters: 15/? Fandom: All For The Game - Nora Sakavic Summary:
“Potential.” Riko slammed Neil against the wall again and whirled on Kevin. Kevin stared back at him, white-faced and tense. “You said that goalkeeper had potential and then wrote him off as useless when I offered him to you...” - The Foxhole Court, Ch. 13.
Nathaniel was given to Ichirou as his private hitman after his skills as a marksman were revealed when the Moriyama tracked him and his mother down after they ran away.
Riko decided to surprise Kevin with matching “pets” after he found out the goalkeeper that Kevin was interested in had a twin.
When Nathaniel is ordered to join the Ravens for a year to cover for a series of hits, his smart mouth meets Andrew’s prickly attitude and things get interesting.
Okay, I just caught up on Apothecary Diaries, and while this show always has dark themes (and is quite frankly a masterclass in how they can be handled), the ending of s2e33 was ... Damn. I mean, talk about a taste of your own medicine.
It will never not be funny to me that Khun is an ice wielder, yet he's always the first to complain about it being too cold.

Chapter 16 is live! Here’s a little excerpt from the current chapter:
“Minyard did sign a five year contracted with the team,” Tetsuji said.
“Spare is dead to the world, so no one knows he’s here,” Riko replied.
“They know,” Ichirou growled. “That is why we are here.”
Riko blatantly glared at Neil and sneered. “Yeah, and I wonder how they found out.”
Neil met his gaze. “You accusing me of something?”
“Didn’t you talk to them after the game?”
“Yeah, because I have these things called friends. Ever heard of it?”
“Control your dog, Ichirou,” Tetsuji said.
Chapter 13 is up as of today! If you choose to read, I hope you enjoy! Excerpt from the new chapter is below:
Neil,” Kein sighed, “how the hell did you not think to mention that you knew their cousin?”
“Oh, excuse the fuck out of me for not realizing that the one Mexican I met in fucking Berlin was related to these two!” Neil yelled.
Hypothetically, if Fyodor took over Chuuya’s body, would Arahabaki go nuclear? It's implied in Stormbringer that Arahabaki is only dormant because his vessel is Chuuya specifically. And we know Chuuya only has some access to Arahabaki’s power since he doesn't have the black flames or turn into a monster like Verlaine did with Guivre. So, would Fyodor be able to restrain the god? Or would he instantly go into corruption mode?
On that note, would he be able to take over Lovecraft since it's implied he's not human and even Dazai couldn't nullify him?
I know that Baam’s supposed to be like 5'10" 5'11" (according to the wiki and assuming my math is right), but seeing how small he is next to any of the other characters and how excited he got when Jinsung suggested that he grew when they reunited during the Nest Arc just reads (to me) that he's not that tall. Maybe it's my 5'1" ass having a skewed idea of what tall is, but I'd put him at like 5'7" if even. He's a head shorter than most characters. He's a little guy.
Neil is the epitome of that "god has let me live another day and I'm about to make it everybody's problem" meme.
I think the only reason we don't see Dazai using a gun at the Armed Detective Agency is because they refuse to give his suicidal ass access to one. We know he had no qualms about using one, so that's the only reasonable reason I can think of as to why he wouldn't have one.
Okay, so in the Traumerei Amizu flashback, it's implied that the only people to enter the room where Traumerei had shut himself in after Amizu announced that she was leaving were other members of the 10 family heads. Somehow, I doubt he was close to anyone else given his reclusive nature. If that is the case, then who the fuck is he?
There's only three family heads we haven't seen in any capacity. Ari Han, Bloodmadder, and Tperie. We can rule out Ari since he probably looks similar to his cousin, Arie Hon (personally, I think SIU should have leaned into the closeness of their names and just made them twins). That leaves Bloodmadder and Tperie. I'm leaning toward Tperie because of all the eyes. What's all your thoughts on it?
She/They The account I can talk about fan stuff on. I also post fanfics on AO3 by the same username.
