Saying ‘I’m too aroace for this conversation.’ used to be my way of telling my friends: I have nothing to contribute here. I don’t understand. I’ve tried, and I’ve let you speak. But I honestly can’t respond truthfully because I have no thoughts to respond with.
But now I just say it whenever to try and see how many hoops I can make their brains jump through to connect ‘best carpet colour for a hotel room’ to romance and/or sex.

I think why I get so confused and feel disproportionately overwhelmed when a technological thing I use a lot has a problem is because they feel like auxiliary brains to me. If I can't control my laptop I have lost all control of everything? This is definitely a problem but I have no idea what to do with that knowledge.
