yes she looks badass with her tantacles but she is not the stronger of my history and her specie live for only 60 years

Out of curiosity I actually decided to sit down and watch this movie because of how much I love the main theme and found it had a kickass OST and wanted to draw a crossover. I’m still a bit disappointed in the lack of actual supernatural from the 2004 movie, but I still enoyed it a lot! I like to imagine that Boris would probably be Raul in this situation because I mean… who else?

Anyways, I have no idea why I put this amount of effort in this but I did! I think it looks pretty dang cool, but my hand hurts! Now don’t mind me as I imagine the Ink demon being a hot phantom who can sing… (what I wouldn’t give to be Alice)

Simply amazing

Feel Familiar?

I have to say I am very much pleased with how this painting turned out. I only had 2 reference photos to work with along with my own game play (If Bendy didn’t get me in the hallway while I was staring at the scene, the little creeper.) 

Painting wise this took 1 full day laying out the sketch and line art, and 2 full days of painting. For the actual painting itself I rarely used strait liquid paint except for the black for the ink and Bendy’s body. All of the coloring and shading was done by careful control over the amount of water I mixed with the paint. If anything I felt the sketch and line art took longer since I’m not used to drawing interiors and did a lot of measurements and research (in particular the Miracle Station).

For Bendy himself I wanted to have more of the inky veins he generates rather then all the excessive ink that oozes from every nook and cranny. Mostly because I didn’t want to take away from the background too much and to have the ink demon disappear along with it.  Though while drawing him I had many ideas about how I wanted him for this particular spot. My initial thought was to have him standing before the station but off to the side to reveal the message, but after awhile I felt it was better to have him behind the station in a more  mockery like position.

Here is the image if anyone would like it. It took around 30 hours to figure out the "shapes" of these shadow creatures, since it isn't exactly well defined. Most of it is speculation on my side lol 😅. I am still working on the file for the cricut machine to cut the shadows in flat coloured heat transfer vinyl and only have Jin Woo as the printed vinyl. I'll post when that is ready if anyone is interested in it. I'm hoping to be able to have this printable in a bunch of sizes for bags, shirts, short, etc.

Again, the colours of the shadows are not true to character. They were chosen depending on my limited palette of vinyl colours. If I had chosen to only print the whole thing instead of cutting the layers of vinyl, then they would all have been different. I hope you all still like the work 😊
