Jason woke up hearing a bang. It wasn't a gunshot, it was more of something that fell.
He took a moment to look around his room before realizing it wasn't from his apartment, it was from outside. He heard another then the sound of arguing started out.
He threw on a shirt and went to the door. He opened the door just a little and found who was making the noise.
It was a man and a woman arguing. They looked like siblings, they could be twins. The two of them had Wavy black hair. The woman had blue eyes, that seemed to shimmer with mischief ; while the Man had red.
The door was opened. it looked like they were moving boxes, which would explain the noise.
”hey everything good out here” Jason said to make his presence known.
They both turn to look at Jason.
” Yeah sorry about that, this dweeb is moving in” the woman said as she motioned to the man beside her.
”Do you need any help?” Jason questioned ”I’m Jason by the way" He opened the door all the way and moved towards them.
”Dan and the menace is Dani.” Dan said motioning to the her. “ And Thanks for the offer, the Gremlins decided that she can no longer move boxes” Dan said as he glared at what Jason assumed was his sister.
" What are you talking about? I'm totally helping.” Dani crossed her arms and glared at the man.
” you keep almost dropping the boxes on my feet” Dan pointed to them box beside his foot
” that's on purpose” Dani teased
I see and accept the "Danny gets adopted by the Bats and tries to hide that he's Phantom" but I raise you that if Danny had a choice in the matter he would choose to live as a civilian with The Flash, due to it being well known that the Flash is a sceptic, and thus would not clue in to Danny's ghostlyness.
What Danny doesnt know is that the Flash isnt a sceptic. Not anymore. Kinda hard to seriously deny it now since hes been through so many magic based disasters. He just pretends to keep up the sceptisism to make evil magic users lower their guard around him.
So yes, he does come to the conclusion he might have just adopted a powerful sorceror or ghost. He has NO IDEA what to do about it though, so he might as well pretend he didnt see the kid's entire hand phase through a cupboard door.

Billy wants these little guys to go into heroics being the best hero they can be. He just doesn’t realize that while he has good intentions, he can come off as kind of intense. Like the time he tried teaching Wally how to vibrate his entire body through an object.
Marvel: *holding Tim by the neck with one hand while his other hand is crackling with electricity* “You better hurry up Wally or else I’ll blow his brains out on the floor!”
Kid Flash: “WHAT DUDE IM TRYING.”
Robin!Tim: “HE’S BURNING MY HAIR! I THINK HE’S ACTUALLY GOING TO KILL ME IF YOU DON’T HURRY!”
Kid Flash: “I’m TRYING!” *only got his arm through it*
Marvel: “Try harder!”
Or the time he tried teaching Stargirl how to fly one of the ships.
Marvel: “Alright, so the best type of practice is getting it firsthand so what you’re gonna do is fly straight through that asteroid belt.” *points to the belt*
Stargirl: *sounds super concerned* “What? I can’t do that!”
Marvel: “Yeah you can! You just gotta believe. Now do it.”
Stargirl: “I just told you, I can’t. I can barely fly this thing already. Flying through an asteroid belt would completely total the entire thing and we might be stranded out here for God’s sake.”
Marvel: *nods head* “I see. I see. I get your concerns. So instead I’ll just…” *grabs the acceleration and cranks it all the way up and they start flying to the belt*
Stargirl: “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” *grabs the steering wheel and starts making the ship dodge the asteroids*
Marvel: “You’re doing great!” *sunny ahh smile as if he hadn’t put the both of them in mortal danger*
Later…
Marvel: “That was wonderful for your first time, Stargirl.” *looking at the dents in the ship*
Stargirl: “You’re a psychopath.” *still a little shell shocked*
Marvel: “Nuh uh. Here, have some candy.” *hands her some candy*
Then there was the time Beast Boy was interviewed.
Interviewer: “So, who would you say is your toughest teacher? Batman?”
Beast Boy: “Oh, definitely Captain Marvel.”
Interviewer: *slightly surprised* “May I ask why?”
Beast Boy: “Well, he’s a psychopath. Like actually. Like don’t get me wrong. He’s really nice. He makes us cookies. He’s like super kind, but when it comes to training, he’s a complete psychopath. Like the other day he said he’d tear off Starfire’s arms if I couldn’t complete a training exercise. I did complete it don’t get me wrong, and he gave me cookies afterwards, but you don’t just threaten to tear off another person’s arms!”
Clockwork has been teaching Danny how to do pretty much everything blind. why is unknown
Untill now
After a way too close call with his parents/GIW he almost got fully dissected! He decided to initiate plan 42 Stich wounds,Grab shit, and hall ass to Gotham. Gotham has enough ectoplasm for him to stay long term not nearly as much as Amity Park but it has enough
After one pain filled flight he arrives in a dungey bathroom in Gotham. He looks in the mirror and sees
Oh
What the fuck!?!?
Apparently even though Gotham has a decent amount of ectoplasm He didn't know he needed way more to look alive. He looks ill!?! his skin became three shades paler making his bruises and eyebags stand out more. his hair being way more wild than usual and fluffy-er? He somehow looks smaller and skinner than before, and his eyes
Oh ancients his eyes
There still blue but they're diluted they have that heavy milk quality to them and his pupils are permanently dilated. He can see but he looks like he can't
That's why Clockwork taught him how to do things blind so he can pretend to be blind! cuz there's no way people are going to believe that he can see!?!
He grabbed his bag packed and gifted from Sam, Tucker, and Jazz left the bathroom, clossed his eyes, and started to figure out what he should do.
Bruce's adoption sense seems to be tingling He wonders what that's about.
Vlad: Make sure to charm the youngest Wayne at tonight's gala. If you want your parents' business to stay afloat, you need funds. Bruce Wayne is known for throwing money at pretty things he wants in bed and the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree as they say.
Danny: Oh don't worry, Fruitloop, I'll use this perfect opportunity you provide well.
*At the Gala*
Danny: Hey bad-looking. You smell like a rotting corpse.
Damian: I beg your pardon?
Danny: *finger guns* Then beg.
Damian:.....
Danny: I'm a guest of Vlad Masters. Anything I do reflects him. Again, that's Vlad Masters. Oh by the way, your eyes resemble sick toads and your voice sounds like broken glass.
Damian: I don't understand what you're attempting to do.
Danny: And you never will. Kisses and death threats *blows kiss and leaves*
Dick: Are you okay Dami?
Damian: *clutching chest* Is this love!?
Danny starts a YouTube channel where he sings and does covers of songs. He never shows his face in the videos to keep some form of privacy about his identity. Using his wail, he also makes his voice sound different. He goes by the name Electric Siren in reference to the mythical creatures. He doesn't realize his wail combined with his singing voice has a similar hypnotic effect that Ember's does, just to a lesser degree. Tucker made his channel untraceable, which is good for when Tim Drake, fresh from a space mission with his team, comes home to find Jason clearly in a good mood. He asks what he's listening to, and when Jason shows Tim the song and he starts to relax. Tim immediately panics and clocks it as some sort of mind control
Part 2, Part 3
Tim marched through Wayne Manor, determined to get to Bruce and tell him of Jason’s possible mind control.
Electric Siren was a dangerous individual who could sing many songs with no limit on the styles he could replicate and use. If even Jason, an avid punk and metal music fan, was delightedly listening to pop music without a care in the world, then something was definitely wrong.
“Drake?” A voice called out. Tim stiffly paused in place and turned. Damian stared at him, his eyebrows dipped downward on his face. “What is the matter? You’re walking quite urgently.”
Tim wanted to go straight to Bruce, but knowing Damian, he’d just follow him anyways. Tim sighed and began to explain.
“I have reason to believe that Jason may be getting brainwashed.”
Damian’s eyebrows rose sharply before he snorted. “Hah! Serves Todd right. How pathetic.”
Damian was very lucky that he was small and adorable and that the person standing in front of him wasn’t Jason because that definitely deserved a knock on the head. Tim rolled his eyes and said, “Yes, which is why I need to talk to B.”
Damian, predictably, followed him as they walked to Bruce’s office. “How is Todd behaving? What is the medium used to brainwash him? Or is it a person?”
Tim told him about Electric Siren and then showed him a video. In this one, the singer was making a cover of a country song, strumming a guitar with low, smooth vocals.
Damian silently pressed play. Tim sighed again but allowed it. All the more people who could understand why it was a little concerning, right?
And right in front of his eyes, Damian relaxed from his stiff posture and looked at the screen with a small smile.
“I’m not sure I see the problem,” Damian said, his tone much more relaxed and even lacking that formal intonation he liked to give to himself to sound more mature. “It sounds fine to me.”
Tim’s jaw dropped.
Oh no.
Damian had been brainwashed too. And even worse, to country music!
Damian (16) assumes his father is getting empty nest syndrome or something similar with him growing up because Bruce has recently been talking fondly about past years when all of them were much younger. He even heard Bruce tell Alfred that he’s gonna miss having a kid around the house.
Damian figures that it’s only a matter of time before his father is bringing another child into the family, and decides that if he is going to get another sibling it might as well be one that he approves of. He’d hate to end up with another one like Drake after all.
He’s on the hunt now for the perfect younger sibling. Damian won’t say it, but he’s also excited to no longer be the baby of the family. As well as be the favorite older brother, which he will make sure he is by teaching them everything he knows. This new kid is most likely going to be his successor; his robin one day. Bruce is getting older ultimately, the years of crime fighting were starting to take its toll the older he got, and he promised to discuss the details of passing the mantle of Batman when Damian was 23 years old.
All of this to say is when Robin is on a solo patrol he finds a de-aged 6yr old Danny Fenton defending an older woman from getting mugged, and despite his small size manages to scare the mugger away. He makes a note of the assailant's appearance for later; right now he has something more important to take care of.
When the child turns to the woman Damian finally gets a good look at the young boy, and sees that he has both black hair and blue eyes; he’s perfect! “This is my younger brother,” he immediately thinks to himself before jumping down next to the boy and woman.
It only takes a bit of convincing, but he manages to persuade his new brother Daniel, or Danny as he insisted, to accompany him escorting the older woman home before getting a bite to eat with him at the nearest Batburger. The only thing he needs to figure out now is how he is going to get Daniel back to the manor.
Meanwhile Danny, who was dropped in this dimension by clockwork a week ago with his last words being to enjoy this new life and vacation away from ghost king duties, is wondering what he should do about this vigilante that doesn’t seem to want to leave him alone.
De-Aged Danny, gesturing to a dazed Bruce inside Wayne Manor: And this is Bruce! Otherwise known as the Himbo! Reporters: Hmm, yes, interesting... Bruce: What the- Danny: I'm not sure what that word means. I heard it from Dick, but no one will give me my answer, not even Jason, who is easily bribed. Bruce: Why are there reporters in my house!? Danny, innocent and childlike: They asked to come inside, Bruce! They seemed like really nice people, so I thought it'd be polite to give them a tour. Bruce, filled with infinite patience: I really wish you had asked me before you did that, chum. Danny: But why? We don't have anything to hide... do we, Bruce?
Or, in order to rise to the Ghost Throne, Danny has to complete a series of trials to prove he is capable of ruling (or any other reason, Danny just needs to do trials to prove himself).
The last trial, issued by Clockwork, is thus: discover the Wayne Family secret in two weeks without the use of any of his powers.
He has one shapeshift to pick a form that could endere him to the Waynes, but only one before he starts and he has to get close to the family by his own wits. Danny, after studying the family and reading of one sentence summary of each Wayne, picks the body of a six-year-old little boy that looked like a child Jason Todd.
Bruce: That child is up to something. Dick, third favorite: I don't know, Bruce; he acts like a normal kid. Jason, #1 favorite: I doubt the old man's ever met a normal kid. Tim, least favorite: Bruce is right, but can you please not talk like the villains from Chicken Run.
It was no secret that Danny had a rocky and awkward relationship with his rogue gallery, especially after his coronation to become the Ghost King. Imagine the faces his enemies made when they learned that baby half-ghost they used to brawl with was now the Eternal Majesty and effectively their boss.
That was mostly how Danny, in a display of abuse of authority, made Nocturn agreed to help him enter a specific person's dream. More specifically, the dream of one Timothy Drake-Wayne.
It all started when Danny got his scholarship to Gotham University after finishing high school. Finally leaving his ghost-fighting life in Amity Park behind, although he still had to fulfill his duty as the Ghost King.
In his first year at Gotham U, he met none other than the Tim Drake - local celebrity, son of billionaire, genius - as his classmate.
Here's the thing, Danny made Tim extremely sleepy for some reasons.
For one, the air around Danny was chill. Unlike the biting cold of winters, this felt more like the cooling of an air conditioner on a summer day. Which made thing way too comfortable, his body just kept dozing off whenever this strange boy was around, like an animal ready for hibernation.
For two, being the Ghost King meant that Danny had the traces of all the Ancients on him. Including Nocturn's trace as the Ancient of Dream, which induced sleep. This was usually unnoticeable when you were awake, but if you were someone who overworked themselves to the limit of consciousness and survived purely of caffein and energy drinks like Tim did, it got much more effective.
So from Tim's perspectice, Danny was just one big sleep-inducing spell. And this was really ticking him off. He kept falling asleep in the middle of classes, or when he needed to concentrate on a vital case during study time. It was almost impossible to focus when Danny was around, everything was just so relaxing.
The batfam was overjoyed thinking that Tim had finally fixed his broken sleeping habits. In reality, this just made Tim even more paranoid and drank even more caffein than before.
Danny, being someone who had listened to Jazz's rants about the effect of lack of sleep on the mind for all his youth, immediately recognized Tim's worsening symtomps when he saw them. Strangely, whenever he approached Tim to give some advice, the boy just paled and skedaddled away as if he'd seen a ghost (hehe).
So, in true Danny's fashion, he asked Nocturn for help putting a poor classmate to proper sleep. He even manifested himself as the Ghost King in Tim's dream to ease the boy through the process.
This escalated when Tim accidentally developed a crush on Danny in his dreams and was now concerned if he had just developed a crush on a supernatural being in his dream. Or if he had just developed a crush on a figment of his imagination (he couldn't decide which was worse).
Danny was completely unaware of this and patted himself on the back for helping someone while Tim had a crisis.
