Nothing like a tall cowboy boot to protect against saddle fenders without having to wear full length chaps. But work well when wearing chinks (short chaps). I like my boots tall, plain, stove-pipe tops with a snub toe, ie. acme toe, luchese toe - like mine above. This style was prevalent during the 50s & 60s westerns. I see this shape of toe becoming more & more popular than the modern flat square toe and the pointed, pie-shaped kill-a-cockroach-in-the-corner toe. Very manly. See why below.
