For What You Are by @hauntieannes has officially altered my brain chemistry. I can’t stop thinking about the au, the way they write John. I went from taking it a chapter at a time to binging the second half.

So it was time for obligatory fanart, funny how the first malevolent fanart I’ll be posting is like fanart of a fanfic for the show.

The designs are half my head cannons and half descriptions from the fic. The outfits are from chapter 13.

Little details that I want to draw attention to… Arthur having a very in style for 1934 outfit while most of Johns articles were inspired from older years since I doubt he could afford to be as dapper as Arthur. Also while Arthur’s clothes are fited John’s pants are way too short since he is a 6 foot 9 beast of a man and its hard to find pants that fit properly and he cant afford having them made tailored. You will have to excuse me for the vey period inaccurate long hair I gave John bc I just couldn’t resist. Also I gave Arthur a funky tie cuz thats just the way I am. For a blind man Arthur dresses exceptionally well.

Listening to this rn and I'm in my happy place. This is so soothing and calming for my brain.
