I'm living off of hcs about them, and I already have a bunch to make up for the lack of context ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ Like Zerum being an expendable on the few Fishbun art I have, I thought of that before her ref sheet came out but I think I'll stick to my hc (as an AU perhaps) of Zerum somehow becoming an expendable and finding Sebastian, so now they're just keeping each other company until she has to leave and try to retrieve the crystal 🫴

The fact Sebastian kept his wedding ring post-UrbanShade experimentation makes me feel unwell because oughgjgh,, , He still thinks about his wife and is a devoted husband despite everything I'm gonna throw a brick at him,, ,

I was being FED when they dropped his Regretevator lines (for those who haven't seen it, he basically said “my wife is going to love these” when you threw flower petals at him) like WAAERSESSDSAYG I bet he’d give Zerum little gifts and be like "I saw this and thought you'd like it” 🥹

I kinda hope we get more fishbun crumbs in the future, either by art refs or mentions 🙏

In Fionna and Cake Gary calls his pastry little guys "pastrymeschen", and "meschen" basically means humans/people in German, so I guess yeah, he could be German. People already headcanon (though I think it's somewhat canon) that PB is German&Korean and apply it to Gumball/Gary as well, me included, and that's where this general consensus come from.
