i'm just saying. when yae miko finally becomes a playable character, she should have an alternate sprint where she shifts into her fox form.
Katsuki x reader where you almost die?
The battlefield was a mess. Buildings crumbled under the force of explosions, and the sky above was painted in thick clouds of smoke. Katsuki Bakugo was in his element—blasting away enemies with fierce determination. But this mission was different. You were there too, fighting by his side. You’d both trained for this, but no amount of training could have prepared you for what was about to happen.
The villain you were facing was far more powerful than expected. Their quirk could manipulate the ground, creating jagged spikes and crumbling the earth beneath your feet. You’d been trying to hold your ground, deflecting attacks and supporting Bakugo from a distance, but it was clear this fight was out of your league.
“Stay back, idiot!” Bakugo barked at you, dodging a spike that shot up from the ground. “You’re not cut out for this!”
You clenched your fists, frustration bubbling in your chest. You weren’t weak. You didn’t want to be a burden to him, not now, not ever. You’d fought hard to prove yourself, to show that you could stand by his side. But he was right—this was more than you could handle alone.
Suddenly, you saw the villain focus their attention on him. Bakugo was distracted, charging up a powerful blast. In that split second, you noticed the ground shifting beneath him, the stone cracking and beginning to rise into jagged spikes aimed straight at his back.
Time seemed to slow down as you made your decision. Without thinking, you sprinted forward, pushing Bakugo out of the way just in time. But you didn’t escape unscathed.
You felt the sharp pain rip through your side as one of the spikes pierced your abdomen. The shock left you gasping, blood staining your costume as you collapsed to the ground. You tried to stay conscious, but the world around you blurred.
“(Y/N)!” Bakugo’s voice was laced with panic—a tone you’d never heard from him before. He was at your side in an instant, blasting the spikes into pieces and cradling you in his arms.
“Why the hell would you do something so stupid?!” he shouted, but there was a tremor in his voice. “You idiot… you idiot…”
You coughed, wincing at the pain. “I… couldn’t let you get hurt,” you managed to choke out. Your vision was fading, darkness closing in as you fought to stay awake.
“Shut up! You’re gonna be fine!” Bakugo’s hands trembled as he pressed them against your wound, trying to stop the bleeding with the heat of his quirk. His eyes, usually filled with confidence and pride, were now wide with fear.
You’d never seen him like this. The fierce, unshakable Katsuki Bakugo was scared. For you.
“Don’t you dare close your eyes! You’re not leaving me like this!” His voice cracked as he yelled at you. You could feel his grip tighten, desperate and afraid.
But it was so hard to stay awake. The world around you was growing darker, colder. You could barely feel anything anymore—except for the warmth of his hands, holding onto you as if his touch alone could keep you tethered to life.
“Stay with me, (Y/N), damn it!” His voice wavered, his breath hitching as he tried to keep it together. “I swear, if you die, I’ll never forgive you!”
Tears pricked at your eyes. You didn’t want to leave him, not like this. You’d fought so hard, hoping you could stand by his side. But now…
“Please…” The word came out as a whisper. It wasn’t like him to beg, but there was no pride in his voice now. Only desperation. “You can’t leave me… I—”
The world finally faded to black.
When you woke up, the first thing you noticed was the smell of antiseptic. The beeping of a heart monitor echoed in the quiet room. Slowly, you opened your eyes, taking in the sight of the hospital room. You were alive.
And then you saw him—Katsuki Bakugo—slumped over in the chair beside your bed. His eyes were closed, exhaustion etched into his features. He looked like he hadn’t slept in days.
You tried to sit up, wincing at the dull pain in your abdomen. The movement stirred him awake. His eyes snapped open, and the moment he saw you, relief flooded his expression. But it was quickly replaced by anger.
“You dumbass,” he hissed, his voice hoarse. “You scared the hell out of me.”
You offered him a weak smile. “Guess I did, huh?”
He stood up, towering over you with a scowl. But his eyes gave him away—there was a softness there, something vulnerable. He clenched his fists at his sides, struggling to keep his emotions in check.
“Don’t ever do that again,” he growled, but his voice cracked, betraying how shaken he really was. “You hear me? You don’t get to risk your life like that. Not for me.”
You reached out, your fingers brushing against his hand. “I’m sorry… I didn’t want to see you get hurt.”
For a moment, he didn’t say anything. He just stared at you, his jaw clenched, emotions warring within him. Then, finally, he exhaled, his shoulders sagging as he took your hand in his.
“I can take care of myself,” he muttered, but his grip on your hand tightened. “But I can’t take it if you’re gone, got it?”
You nodded, tears welling up in your eyes. “I got it.”
He leaned down, resting his forehead against yours, his voice low and raw. “You’re mine… and I’m not losing you. So don’t pull that kind of crap again, or I’ll—”
“—Blow me to pieces?” you teased, earning a quiet snort from him.
“Damn right,” he whispered, but there was no malice in his tone. Just relief, and maybe something more—a promise that he’d never let anything take you away from him.
And for once, Bakugo let himself stay there, close to you, his defenses lowered, if only for a moment. Because he knew now, more than ever, that losing you wasn’t something he could handle. You were his weakness and his strength all at once. And he would fight tooth and nail to keep you safe—no matter what.

Idea for a little angst. Leona has a nightmare about his s/o (fem or gn preferably) becoming an unfortunate victim to King’s Roar’s effect. Maybe having flashbacks to when he overblotted in a sense? Up to you!
Ohhhhhhh this is a PRIME angst prompt, thank you very much for this incredibly ouchie idea.
GN!Reader, ANGST, comfort
"Herbivore?"
In the center of Night Raven College's Spelldrive stadium, Leona stood alone. There was no grass beneath his feet crosshatched with play lines and goal marks, just cracked, dry soil. There were no cheers in the stands, no holler of food vendors or trumpet of pep bands, just a blistering, eerie silence. As the wind whistled through the empty field, little spirals of sand danced upon the breeze to land near his feet.
"Howl? Felmier?... Ruggie?"
No response.
He trod carefully across the arid dirt, moving towards the entrance of the field. Surely there he would find someone waiting, Ruggie or another Savanaclaw student or you, you had to be here somewhere. He was not afraid. he was not.
But dipping through the doorway and peering into one of the locker rooms revealed an equally eerie sight. No students, no coaches. Just heaps of dry, yellow sand. The alternate team's locker room revealed the same sight. So did the hallway out into the stadium entry, the vendor booths that lined the cobblestone path, the winding road leading back up to the school proper.
But along that road, facing away from him, finally he saw you.
"Herbivore!"
"...Why?"
Despite your distance, he could hear you perfectly. He tried to move towards you but it felt like her were wading through tar, each step a herculean effort. He tried to call for you again but found his voice dry and lifeless in his throat.
"I didn't ask to be here. I didn't know this would happen. But still... I just wanted to help. Why wouldn't you let me help?"
He was moving forward, he knew he was, so why did it seem like you were just as far away?
"This isn't even my home, but I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Is that so wrong? Why do you hate me so much?"
'I don't. I don't hate you. I never have, not really.' He tried to say, but the only noise he could make was a single choked rasp.
"Why would you do this to me? I just wanted to help."
He blinked. That's all he did, just a single blink. But suddenly he was upon you, crowding your space, a single clawed hand wrapped effortlessly around your neck. You didn't thrash, didn't scream, didn't make any attempt to pull away. Leona couldn't move either, frozen in time, watching in horror as the delicate skin around your neck began to flake and chip and dissolve to powdery sand. The tears in the corners of your eyes turned to dust before they could even roll down your cheeks.
"I JUST WANTED TO HELP!"
Leona jolted awake to blackness, the dull tick of an alarm clock sitting on his nightstand. He was coated in sweat, panting, throat dry and hoarse. He felt along the left side of his bed, palms thumping frantically over the blanket-clad shape sharing his space. The only one he'd allow to share his space.
"Hrrmph?- Ow, ow! Shit, Leona! You scared the hell out of me!" You grumbled, wrestling blindly out of your blanket to try and protect yourself from his swatting hands. You were here. Thank the seven, you were here. You were here, beside him, and he hadn't destroyed you. He hadn't ruined the one good thing that life had given him, not yet.
He hadn't, but he almost did. He almost did, some time ago.
The air was forced out of your body in a rushed whoof! as Leona bowled into you, draping himself entirely over your still sleep-addled form. Before you could protest or even question what was happening you felt the rasp of his sandy tongue against your temple, peppered kisses in between soothing licks. Was he... Grooming you? Leona never groomed you. He rarely even let himself be groomed by his own family. And yet here he was, pressing himself into you like he was afraid you were going to vanish from beneath his grasp.
"Herbivore... kitten..." He mumbled in between kisses, reverent, relieved. you let a hand come up to rest on his cheek and he stifled a sound that you could have sworn was a tiny sob.
"Hey, hey, I'm right here big cat. I'm not going anywhere. What's all this about?" You ran your thumb blindly back and forth over the curve of his cheekbone, and he melted weakly into the touch.
"...Right, right. You're not. Never go anywhere. I won't let you, not without me." Slowly the two of you sank back into the warmth of your shared mattress, Leona pressed against you like a second skin. "You're stuck with me now, aren't ya? Don't even think of... Of goin' anywhere."
As his words began to drift into exhausted mumbles you pressed yourself as close as you could into his warm side, letting him wrap an arm over your body and pull you into his embrace. You murmured a soft placation into his chest, hoping that whatever brought on this sudden influx of emotion out of your partner, it would be enough to soothe it.
"I wouldn't dream of it."
bubashi WHEN huh
when is it my turn to be happy
REUNITING WITH THEM AT THE AIRPORT — HAIKYUU.
feat — timeskip!atsumu, sakusa, bokuto, oikawa + iwaizumi.
warnings — just some very teary reunions + me overusing italics as always <3
note — crying realising i didn’t add suna into this ;-;
ఌ ATSUMU felt his feet carry him quickly towards the exit gate, towards you. his headphones flung haphazardly over his neck, messy, platinum hair hidden under a black cap and eyes still a little dark, tired— despite managing to sleep on the plane because he always slept better wrapped in you. atsumu’s grip on his suitcase loosens when he catches a glimpse of the same features he’d always wake up to as they lay smooshed against his pillow, knowing you’d rolled over to his side of the bed during the night to steal his warmth because you knew he’d always pull you closer, paired with eyes that always held the kind of tenderness that he never thought he even deserved, but you taught him he did. so he isn’t ashamed when he feels his gaze turn glassy, his suitcase long forgotten on the ground behind him because when your figure finally runs into his arms, as they open to greet you, he realises this is all that matters. atsumu’s lips find yours almost instantly—eager and a little salty with tears but there’s love as his words come out a little breathless “a missed ya so much baby, did ya watch me win for ya?” he grins, his grip tightening slightly at the unwavering love in your gaze because fuck—he missed this. so miya atsumu cries because in your arms, he’s finally home.
ఌ SAKUSA sighs as he tries to control the racing of his heart— almost there, he thinks, his fingers pulling at the sleeves of his jacket, a habit you always seemed to have before he left for away games but one he picked up because it reminded him of you. he re-adjusts the bag across his chest as his eyes scan the crowd, before they land on a familiar smile that only caused his heart to race even more. his feet carry him before his mind can register the groups of bodies he’s brushing past, because kiyoomi hated crowds but he loved you, his gaze locking on your figure as you stand in a more secluded area of the airport. and a smile breaks from under his mask, for you, because he knows you did that for him. his body finally bringing him to stop infront of you as he softens, his heart rate seeming to finally slow because you were his safe haven as his hand moves to cup your cheek gently— his lips brushing against your forehead when he leans in and although covered by a mask, you smile because you still feel everything, and it was enough. your hand coming to intertwine with his as he finally finds the familiarity he’d been seeking in his months away in the “let’s go home.” that causes a warmth to bloom in his chest, as he realises that with your hand in his, he already was.
ఌ BOKUTO raises his fist cheerfully as a smile beames from his lips, hurried footsteps carrying him from the gate because all he wants right now was you—your head whipping towards the familiar sound of “baby!” that used to be your 6am ballad when he moved to begin the day, lazy kisses peppered to your cheek and a promise to work hard for you, always for you. bokuto’s body moves to you quickly, salt and pepper hair hanging loosely over his eyes, and his cheeks flushed from the heat that seemed to build in his chest at the familiar feeling of love, when his arms reached under your thighs to lift you off the ground. he allows himself to melt against the weight of your body as it presses against his, because there was a familiarity to it—it still fit just as perfectly. bokuto doesn’t notice when the first tear of the day seems to trickle down his cheek, because he still smiles as he nuzzles against your palm when your hand doesn’t hesitate to come up and wipe it, his lips moving to find yours as he groans against them—because the giggly love confessions and the teary “i missed yous” exchanged between breathless kisses, felt just like home.
ఌ OIKAWA yawns drowsily as he stretches his arms above his head, a soft smile painted on his face despite the long plane ride because he knew seeing you would make it all worth it. oikawa bites his lip as he feels tears suddenly blur his vision at the thought of finally being able to hold you again — his hotel bed having missed the familiar warmth that lulled him to sleep at night, a home filled with the familiar scent of your coffee as you hummed a random love song you’d probably both sang the night before. but then he sees it, you—home, still as beautiful as he remembers as his hand rests over his chest, just above his heart and he feels it beat for you before his arms are tightly wrapping around your figure. with a shaky “finally” under his breath, surrounded by that familiar warmth he’d craved for months when he’d lie awake hoping you were proud of him but now — when your hand brushes through his hair, his eyes meeting your own glassy ones he realises that you always are. oikawa’s hand gently rests against the back of your head to push you deeper into his chest as you both cry but he knows it’s because of love, and that’s all he’ll ever need.
ఌ IWAIZUMI groans as he feels every hour of the long journey ache and grind through his muscles, stretching his neck before rubbing the sleep from his eyes. his hands felt restless— as if longing to holding you, the idea of being wrapped in that familiar warmth causing his lips to upturn slightly, before they stretch to a grin when his eyes finally meet your figure across the gate. even years later his heart still skips a beat for you, because love with you still felt like it always had— just like it was supposed to. hajime moves like his luggage is suddenly weightless before he shrugs it off in favour of being able to hold you instead, one of his hands resting on the back of your neck, while the other wraps tightly around your waist as his lips meet your own—melting against yours and solidifying the fact that shit, he really missed this. he finally pulls away to cup your cheek before he smiles once more, his cheeks a little flushed and his eyes a little darker from lack of sleep but you still recognised the love in them, because it never faltered. hajime’s lips dip to meet yours once again, a gruff “i love you” exchanged between breathes before you feel a smile replace it, his hand intertwining with yours because home, really was you.
wherein you pull out all the stops in an effort to persuade alhaitham on why he should date you, only… he woos you instead?!

It wasn’t anything special. Really. Just you, your first day jitters, and the calm boy beside you in his Haravatat beret; the same one as yours.
Perhaps he’d noticed your flitting eyes, your shifting feet, or your wrung hands that swung gently in front of your robe-clad body because, when your eyes met (and, oh, what pretty eyes he had), he gave you a small nod. Of what? Comfort? Acknowledgement? Salutations?
You couldn’t tell, and you couldn’t ask. By the time you regained your senses he’d already walked off, the blank space beside you feeling strangely empty.
It wasn’t anything special.
But to you, that one, singular moment was all you needed; the comfort it gave was immeasurable, your first day jitters nonexistent.

shinsou was mesmerized.
looking at you made him feel stupid in so many ways he couldn't even think straight; just watching the artwork in front of him as all thoughts empty from his mind.
he was obsessed with the little things. those things about you that no one else would notice, but he did. and he loves to observe your little habits, your peculiarities, the things that make you so goddamn unique and special; the way you look at your nails when you’re bored, the way you frown when you don’t understand a subject or when you run your hand over your face in frustration when you finally give up on understanding. the details of your hand, your arms that he wanted so much to have around him, the curve of your neck that he wanted so badly to put his face and lose himself in your scent for hours.. how incredible. how charming. how purely you.
you look up, wrinkling your nose “why are you looking?”
he is speechless. this isn’t the first time you’ve caught him staring at you like you’re the only person in the world— but well, in his world, you are. but it always leaves him speechless because he can't tell what he’s really thinking.
he really wanted to say how much he wanted you, how much he wanted to hold you in his arms. how much he wanted to know every part of your body and adore you the way you are, get lost in the thousands of universes that are in you. how he wanted to be the reason for your laugh, the reason for the sparkle in your eyes. how he wanted to be your reason. how he wanted to be yours.
he opens his mouth “you’re such a nerd”
you laugh, shaking your head you lower it to the paper in front of you.
“classy,” you say teasingly as you opens another book. “am i a nerd because i want a good future?”
“no. you're a nerd for calling me into a library on a saturday afternoon to help you with a homework due in two weeks…”
you laugh, rolling your eyes.
“let’s finish this soon, please”
he didn’t want to finish it soon. he wanted to stay here with you in a silent old library, as if no one had come here in a long time to hear its story and appeal. he wants to stay with you until the end of eternity and beg the universe to give you even more time.
he sighs as he tries to ignore his thoughts. he smiles lightly and calmly, a gesture totally opposite of his heart which is beating so fast in his chest that he gets dizzy. he pulls up a chair and sits next to you; so close that you feel his perfume invade your pores and thoughts, making you feel strangely safe, at home.
he starts to explain to you about the lesson and, consequently, you get a little closer to him. you hear him stutter a little, which causes you to look at him with furrowed brows, you’re genuinely confused when he starts scratching his neck and looking away from you.
“something wrong?” you ask.
“ah?… oh no no, just… i just got lost in the matter” he looks at you — more precisely at your lips — and then fakes a cough, turning his gaze to the task in front of him.
not at all convinced, you nod your head and he continues explaining to you; a few minutes passed, but what honestly felt like hours. he rests his elbow on one of the open books in front of him and rests his face in his hand, watching you finish the task he explained to you calmly, as if he has all the time in the world with you.
he likes astrology; the sky, the moon, the universe… but honestly he often asks himself, why astronomy if the only celestial body he wants to study is you? the only universe he discovers and appreciates is your universe; the one you never showed to anyone.
he gently tucks a lock of your hair behind your ear as he watches you intently, and you’re so focused and determined on finishing your task as soon as you barely notice his kindness.
god, he thinks, people say the most beautiful cause in the universe are galaxies, that’s because they don’t know you
he sounds cliche now, and he knows it, but he can’t help it. you flower in him something he has never seen or heard of; something that has never been portrayed in romance novels or movies. you awaken in him a light so divine and unique that it illuminates everything around him, which makes him enchant and fall in love with everything even more, especially with you.
and again, he doesn’t realize he’s staring until you snap your fingers in front of his face. he shakes his head a little and blinks repeatedly, trying to regain his posture. he feels his cheeks burning as you smile shyly, as if his gaze this time was even deeper and more.. unique.
“are you really okay?” it’s a stupid question, you know, but the real words your heart tells you to say turn to ashes in your mouth. you can’t, so you just let the universe take control.
“no... i don’t think so...” he says sincerely, looking down at the floor and closing his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again and facing you once more.
“one time.. a while ago… i told the moon how in love i am with the stars, she felt sorry for me 'cause she knew i could never touch them, so she sent me you”
you freeze for a few seconds before a wave of love and excitement fills you completely, drowning you. you smile so brightly, so hugely it makes him smile back. he lowers his head and scratches the back of his neck again.
“shinso..” you say, breaking the silence between you, “if i told the universe how much i love you, he would be ashamed to be so small”
shinso widens his eyes a little and stutters, as if he couldn’t believe what you said. on what is happening now. a mixture of love and fear takes over his heart as butterflies dance fervently in his stomach. he doesn’t know what to do, he doesn’t know what to answer, it’s like his mind is paralyzed, still trying to understand and overcome your words. but, in a gesture of euphoria, you approach him; and, in a moment of courage, he places his hand on your cheek and strokes it with his thumb before sliding down to the back of your neck, holding you tenderly before pulling you to him.
and it is then that your lips touch.
and in that moment, nothing else matters. it’s like the world disappears around you and the two of you are floating in the galaxy, holding on to each other so you don’t fall, holding on to each other with all the love and passion that the moon and the sun have for each other.
slowly, the two of you come back to reality; the smell of old books all around you, the weak sunlights illuminating the other part of the table, the silence of the library.. it all comes back in a wave of tranquility and peace the two of you have never felt before.
you smile against him and he leaves one last soft peck on your lips, as if he can’t get enough of you. you then finally pull away, but he holds your hand. he looks at your joined hands as you look at him and follow his gaze with yours; he smiles as he slides his thumb along the back of your hand.
“if you agree to date me, i’ll get the saturn rings for you.” he says softly, in a playful tone but you know he means it. he looks at you and smiles sideways, and you just smile back at him; a more than enough answer. he takes your hand to his lips and leaves a light kiss, as if to say yes, he will fulfill his promise.
