imagine atsumu miya always blabbering about his girlfriend to his teammates in msby. apparently his girlfriend was a talented engineer with her own firm (that was included japan's top 30 engineering firms) slash entrepreneur (with more than 10 businesses under her name) and was one of the richest women in the country. he keeps telling everyone that his girlfriend was also a former national level libero. (however, they cannot find anything written in the media about her which then gives them the idea that atsumu might be making things up.) then, atsumu had tried making her meet his team numerous times already but his gf was too busy so everyone just thought "ah, atsumu was just making things up" because his girlfriend does not sound real. one day, after their game, atsumu's teammates found a pretty lady (neat hair, business casual attire) who asked where atsumu miya was and then enter atsumu who is all giddy and lovey and smiley as if he did not drill the opponent down in the court in a match (2-1) a few minutes before. he was eagerly asking you how your project proposal went and everyone stared at the both of you (atsumu being the hyper one and you the calmer one) incredilously because not only were you real, they recognized you as you were also the sponsor of the entire team and your father was a famous former Olympic spiker whom the other members of the team idolize. additionally, your name had been mentioned a few times in business magazines because you dominated the entrepreneurial industry with your genius. a total girlboss. how did atsumu miya even have you? slay.
you both are lying in bed, fingers tracing each other’s skin, hands exploring each other’s body (not in a sexual way). His hands trace your shoulder, your stomach, your waist, your hips, your thighs, your any and every stretch mark. ‘see this baby ? this is mine. you’re mine. and you’re beautiful. everything about you is beautiful. don’t forget. and your personality ? you’re like an angel. you deserve the entire world’, he whispers with softened eyes. he’s now planting soft and slow kisses trailing from your shoulders to your thighs. appreciating you and everything about you. each kiss having a deeper meaning then the last. each kiss having a different and higher level of affection.

HAIKYUU BOYS + MEET CUTES
feat. kuroo tetsurō, bokuto kōtarō, miya atsumu, iwaizumi hajime
warnings. meet cutes!! aka funny situations where you meet men i love
KUROO’s in your english class and, if you’re honest, you can’t stand him at first. he’s intolerable—all loud laughter and silly grins and doodling haphazard polygons in your notebooks—but the more you see him, the more he follows you around and toys with your hair and tells you that you look like you just saw a ghost every time he appears out of nowhere, a warmth rises in your chest that you can’t quite place your finger on. so, when he asks you to get dinner with him through breathy laughter and the hum of the afternoon sun, you truly just can’t say no.
BOKUTO orders a different kind of coffee from you every morning. they’re always a little too complicated and he’s always a little too apologetic, giving you a tip that, though you’re very grateful for, is probably undeserved—but he smiles every time you hand him the drink—wide and toothy and something that feels strikingly like home—so there’s something that leaps in your chest as you scrawl your number across the top of the cup with a little smiley face next to it.
ATSUMU collides with you at the grocery store and, as you try and gather your dinner in your hands, little apologies slip past his lips. he’s pretty—even with messy hair under tacky fluorescent lights and confusion spread across his face—so, when you ask him if he’s in such a rush for a reason, you can feel yourself reveling in the grin that starts to spread itself across his face as he tugs you down the freezer aisle.
IWAIZUMI looks more uncomfortable than anyone you’ve ever met before. sure, parties aren’t exactly your thing either, but he swirls the drink in his hand and his eyes wander across the room and there’s something about him just screaming that he would be anywhere else. so, you sink into the wall behind you and make quiet conversation with a man you’ve never met, and he smiles—a tiny little thing spiraling across his cheeks—and there’s something in you that couldn’t walk away if you tried.

WHEN HIS SON TELLS HIM HE HAS A CRUSH !
featuring: Oikawa Tooru, Miya Atsumu, Iwaizumi Hajime, & Sugawara Koushi
warnings: subtle timeskip spoiler in suga's
notes: this is barely proofread so if there's a typo i'll just die gn
ღ OIKAWA is convinced he has all the knowledge a guy needs about love. so, when his son comes home to tell him of a newfound crush, he's over the goddamn moon. you watch as your husband tells him every innocent technique; "you gotta give her flowers!" and "walk her to class!" being among the few. now, though you admit he's rather dramatic, you're confident in his love game—you'd married him, after all. he just needs a slap on the head sometimes.
"so you walk her to class, right?"
the boy nods. "right!"
"then you take her hand," he demonstrates with yours, "and kiss her knuckles like so– ack!"
"or," you ignore your lover's whines as he rubs his head, "you can tell her she's invited to your birthday next week and work from there."
ღ ATSUMU is proud and teary when he hears about his son's crush. "he's growin' into a man!" he cries out, which elicits an eye roll out of you. your husband's patting his back and juicing out every little detail of their interactions at school, much like a gushy school girl. he's laid back but attentive as he listens, and he treats the encounter like your classic guy's night—he's the one giving tips.
"uh huh, and then?"
"i smiled, like this!" your son quirks his lip. "then i waved at her."
atsumu grins, "atta boy!" he ruffled his hair, "but ya know what could've made it better?"
"what?"
"if ya winked," he winks at you, "like how i do to yer mommy."
you look at him, unimpressed. "no dinner for you, 'tsumu."
"what'd i do?!"
your son sighs. "you never learn, dad."
ღ IWAIZUMI is a little confused and secretly alarmed. of course, the last thing he expects to come out of his son's mouth when he picks him up from school is a question about how to handle a crush. it almost would've been better if the boy told him he flunked his math quiz. almost. he wasn't the man for questions like that, but without you here, in the midst of traffic, who was he to not even try?
"well," he tapped on the wheel, "how about you try talking to her more? share your lunch, maybe."
"but i'm shy!"
iwaizumi chuckled. "you're never moving forward like that."
the boy pouts. "i know." a beat passes before he speaks again. "hey dad?"
"yeah?"
"how did you get mom to like you?"
okay. he thinks, ignoring the growing heat of his cheeks. i can work with that.
ღ SUGAWARA isn't unfamiliar with the wonders of childhood, so when his own son comes to him squabbling about a pretty girl at school, he's calm—excited, even. he thinks that all his years of teaching has led to this very moment. he's grinning as he makes dinner, because he's listening to his boy with earnest. definitely ends up teasing him about it later every chance he gets.
the knife hits the cutting board with a dull thump, harmonizing with sugawara's humming. "she really let you borrow her pencil?"
"yeah!" the boy yips and grabs a plate. "she's super nice, dad."
"i'll bet," he adds a careful as his son walks to the dining table. "wanna invite her over for dinner some time?"
the walking stops. "really?"
"yeah," he eyes the boy with a playful glint. "you're so in love."
"am–" the child's face flushed bright. "am not!"
"are too!"
you watch as your lover teases your son with kissy noises, chuckling to yourself from your spot on the doorway.
you'll have to join in on the fun later.

WHEN YOU DON’T GIVE THEM ATTENTION.
▹ dekusquad edition.
IZUKU blinks at first, used to warm touches and a gentle hand at his cheek every time you passed him in the kitchen, and pauses in getting a glass of water to peer at you curiously. but it’s when he realizes you aren’t going to acknowledge him does he frown a bit, a worried crease in his brow. actively wonders if he did anything wrong and will run himself into mad circles trying to figure it out, so you better tell him it was a prank..
OCHAKO pouts when she realizes her relentless poking for the last two minutes leads her to another dead end. she had tried everything—calling, texting, offering hugs, asking if you were feeling okay—but to no avail. she’s very persistent, though, and vows to find out what’s got you acting so cold to her. though it’s just as she’s running out ideas do you break into a smile and tell her it was just a prank, to which she, too, attempts in giving you the silence treatment… but her resolve quickly crumbles when you tell her the prank has been a bit of hell for you as well.
SHOTO frowns when you don’t greet him with a smile like you usually do, stiffing when you simply walk past him to sit on the couch. slowly, he makes his rounds over to where you’re sitting, hesitant in reaching out. and your front all but crumbles when he quietly asks if he had done anything wrong, hands reaching out to pull him into a hug immediately. reassure him over and over that he didn’t do anything wrong, please.
TSUYU takes your silence with the grace and patience of swan, reading into your faux resignation as a sign that you wanted to be left alone. she does check up on your periodically, brows furrowing with worry the more you don’t answer, and honestly relays her feelings to you before leaving you alone—for some time. it’s then do you come to her and reveal that it was a prank, to which relief and a bare-bone smile crosses her lips.
TENYA peers over his frames in slight disbelief—as if the person who entered your beloved home was a complete stranger rather than the other half of his heart—because normally you waste no time in telling him about your day, complaining about the nuisances that occurred while laying your head on his chest. the uneasy feeling follows him all throughout dinner and while getting ready for bed, and it’s not until he tentatively taps your shoulder to ask if everything was alright does he finally see the smile he’d been waiting all day to see. (he vows to research on trends from then on, so you might have created a little problem.)

I want to live by myself when I move out of my parent's place but I'm really afraid of money problems? I'm afraid that the only place I can afford will be in the ghetto and it'll all be torn apart and I'll only be allowed to eat one granola bar a week. I'm really stressing out about this. I don't know anything about after school life. I don't know anything about paying bills or how to buy an apartment and it's really scaring me. is there anything you know that can help me?

Once you’ve looked over all those cool links, I have some general advice for you on how you can have some sort of support system going for you:
You may decide to leave home for many different reasons, including:
wishing to live independently
location difficulties – for example, the need to move closer to university
conflict with your parents
being asked to leave by your parents.
It’s common to be a little unsure when you make a decision like leaving home. You may choose to move, but find that you face problems you didn’t anticipate, such as:
Unreadiness – you may find you are not quite ready to handle all the responsibilities.
Money worries – bills including rent, utilities like gas and electricity and the cost of groceries may catch you by surprise, especially if you are used to your parents providing for everything. Debt may become an issue.
Flatmate problems – issues such as paying bills on time, sharing housework equally, friends who never pay board, but stay anyway, and lifestyle incompatibilities (such as a non-drug-user flatting with a drug user) may result in hostilities and arguments.
Think about how your parents may be feeling and talk with them if they are worried about you. Most parents want their children to be happy and independent, but they might be concerned about a lot of different things. For example:
They may worry that you are not ready.
They may be sad because they will miss you.
They may think you shouldn’t leave home until you are married or have bought a house.
They may be concerned about the people you have chosen to live with.
Reassure your parents that you will keep in touch and visit regularly. Try to leave on a positive note. Hopefully, they are happy about your plans and support your decision.
Tips include:
Don’t make a rash decision – consider the situation carefully. Are you ready to live independently? Do you make enough money to support yourself? Are you moving out for the right reasons?
Draw up a realistic budget – don’t forget to include ‘hidden’ expenses such as the property’s security deposit or bond (usually four weeks’ rent), connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
Communicate – avoid misunderstandings, hostilities and arguments by talking openly and respectfully about your concerns with flatmates and parents. Make sure you’re open to their point of view too – getting along is a two-way street.
Keep in touch – talk to your parents about regular home visits: for example, having Sunday night dinner together every week.
Work out acceptable behaviour – if your parents don’t like your flatmate(s), find out why. It is usually the behaviour rather than the person that causes offence (for example, swearing or smoking). Out of respect for your parents, ask your flatmate(s) to be on their best behaviour when your parents visit and do the same for them.
Ask for help – if things are becoming difficult, don’t be too proud to ask your parents for help. They have a lot of life experience.
Not everyone who leaves home can return home or ask their parents for help in times of trouble. If you have been thrown out of home or left home to escape abuse or conflict, you may be too young or unprepared to cope.
If you are a fostered child, you will have to leave the state-care system when you turn 18, but you may not be ready to make the sudden transition to independence.
If you need support, help is available from a range of community and government organisations. Assistance includes emergency accommodation and food vouchers. If you can’t call your parents or foster parents, call one of the associations below for information, advice and assistance.

Kids Helpline Tel. 1800 55 1800
Lifeline Tel. 13 11 44
Home Ground Services Tel. 1800 048 325
Relationships Australia Tel. 1300 364 277
Centrelink Crisis or Special Help Tel. 13 28 50
Tenants Union of Victoria Tel. (03) 9416 2577
Try to solve any problems before you leave home. Don’t leave because of a fight or other family difficulty if you can possibly avoid it.
Draw up a realistic budget that includes ‘hidden’ expenses, such as bond, connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.
Remember that you can get help from a range of community and government organizations.

“kei?”
“hmmm?” he hummed in response, lifting his gaze from his phone and throwing your way an almost imperceivable smile.
“so uh, i was wondering…what made you fall in love with me?” you blurted out, blushing violently as you internally wondered how the hell did you gather up the courage to ask a similar question.
kei seemed to have been taken aback by such a peculiar and sudden inquiry, his usually collected expression was now confused, as signs of surprise—his widened eyes—spoke for him.
indeed, what made him fall in love with you? kei didn’t necessarily know, so he simply and confidently answered with a “i don’t really know,” which slapped all of your expectations to the ground.
“you know, you are supposed to say cute and cheesy things,” you pouted, turning your head to the other side, but with a strange uneasiness swimming in the depths of your mind.
you heard his chuckle, before feeling his arms wrapping around you from behind and a series of kisses placed on the crook of your neck, making your heart skip a beat and shivers run down your spine.
“if you wanted me to say sweet and cheesy things, you could’ve just said so,” his deep voice reached your ears, making you more aware of how close you actually were.
you tried to wriggle out of his hold, and simply ignored the blonde’s questioning gaze.
“you know it…isn’t like that,” you whispered, trying to shake off the uneasiness.
that same day, you’d heard many girls at your school talk about the karasuno volleyball players. and many of them were fans of tsukishima kei, the number 11 middle blocker, the tall man with short hair and glasses, who is both smart and good at sports, yet isn’t really interested in socializing with strangers. and then, they started talking about you, how they thought you weren’t fit to be with him. and although you knew you didn’t need to be so self-conscious, after all kei always blew away your insecurities, repeating how you were the only one for him, you couldn’t avoid the thought of him being with someone else—maybe someone more suited for him.
“hey…listen up,” he lifted your face and was right away met with the worry mirrored in your eyes. it was as if he’d sensed that there was something wrong, and this was one of the things that made you fall in love with him.
“you know why i answered like that? well, because there are just too many things that made me fall for you, okay?” he ran a hand through his hair, flustered and with rosy cheeks matching yours, as he tried to ignore the fast beating of his heart.
“although i need to say that, at first, i just found you as annoying as shrimpy–” you interrupted him with a punch on his right arm, to which he responded with a roll of eyes and simply continued, “i couldn’t avoid but being dragged towards you, even though you were talking or smiling to someone else, i felt greedy and wanted that attention to be for me to enjoy–” “oh, so that’s why you started calling me names like ‘shorty’, ‘squirrel’ and…‘stinkin' pea’?” you frowned as kei only raised an eyebrow.
please can you at least let me finish, is what his eyes were probably yelling.
you sealed your lips and just said no more.
“okay so where was i? man this is getting so embarrassing,” he whispered before clearing his voice and looking straight into your eyes.
“even though at first you didn’t seem to like the idea of me being around, i loved the way you still tried to put up with me and my sarcasm. well, i guess i was lost in you before i could realize it. no other person would be as perfect to me as you are, and–” you basically jumped into his arms, him losing balance and almost dropping to the ground, as you wrapped your arms and legs around him like a baby koala.
“aww my tsukki, i didn’t know you could be so sweet!” you exclaimed, snuggling in his chest, as he reluctantly enclosed you in his arms, feeling his entire face burning up.
you were really happy though. all the insecurities and fears you had before simply dissipated, leaving the previously turmoiled heart, warmed and at peace.
“okay, now tell me, what was all of this about?” kei asked, sitting on the bed with you still in his arms.
you’d tried to evade his eyes, but in the end, you simply gave up, and spilled everything.
and, just like that he…kissed you. simply.
he slowly placed his lips onto yours, and as you were lost in the touch and the fondness of him, you deepened the kiss, more and more, so much that, when you let go, both of you were breathless.
he pressed his forehead against yours, and took a hand to your cheek, slightly grazing it, while almost looking inside of you, into your soul, touching your heart and your mind.
“whoever said that is, one, a complete dickhead, two, a brainless idiot, three, not worthy of your worries,” he softly but sternly retorted.
he tightened his hold on you and, as you lay your head against his shoulder, he murmured one last thing that made your heart almost jump out from happiness.
“[name]...just remember that i love you, and no one else.”

friendly reminder that if you like a creator, show them! likes and reblogs are appreciated but we love direct connections too. comments and personal thoughts are some of my favorite things to receive from people
if you like how a creator portrayed a character, tell them. if you like an idea they came up with, tell them. if you just like how they write in general, tell them.
i’m starting to see more and more of my mutuals and friends leave this platform because they don’t feel appreciated anymore and it’s sad because writing for an audience is so much fun but it isn’t fun when it starts to feel very manufactured.
you’ll get busy, no one is expecting you to be in someone’s notifications every day, but it’s nice to see familiar names from time to time.
(also adding, if you arent comfortable coming off anon: that’s ok! i love anon messages and i know it can be scary to send them at first but trust me when i say everyone who received a nice message from an anon will be overjoyed)
tldr: show your favorite creators love because they’re (most likely) making content for you
