I feel so exposed đ
what if you got quiet. what if you got so quiet and you curled up in a little ball in your bed with a stuffed animal or a blanket or a pillow and you said, âgod, can we talk?â and because god is you and you are god you didnât have to wait and you didnât have to go anywhere at all andââyes,â god said. and you said, âgod, i want an apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city.â âgod, i want the boy with the kind eyes and tattoo-covered arms and exquisite taste in music.â âgod, i want to feel alive again.â âgod, i want to travel first-class to switzerland.â âgod, i want a hound dog named finn.â and god said, âyes.â and you said, âbut how can you make this happen?â and god said, âi can make anything happen.â and you said, âquickly?â and god said, âi love you. why would i not make this rapid?â and you said, âi can trust you?â and god said, âlike your life depends on it.â and you said, âmy life does depend on it.â and god said, âi know. iâve got it now. youâre safe. let me take care of it.â and you hugged god. and god hugged you. and you hugged yourself. and you drifted off to sleep saying, âi have it. iâm safe. i have it. iâm safe. i have it. iâmââ and you woke in the morning and the world was new. because you knew it was done. because god said yes. and god never goes back on a yes unless you tell god âno.â and any time throughout the day you thought, âis anything happening?â god said, âitâs all happening.â and you said, âbut i canât see a thing.â and god said, âi am your eyes.â and you said, âbut i donât have to do anything?â and god said, âyou did the only thing needed.â and you said, âbut what about my thoughts and my state and acting as if?â and god said, âi love you.â and you knew what that meant. so instead of worrying or wondering or obsessing another second, you went to the bakery and bought a slice of chocolate cake and drove home and sat on your back deck and ate and ate and watched the sunset and celebrated.
I have acquired a digital minimalism reading list of 99 books
how you spend your morning dictates your whole day. create a relaxing structure to truly get yourself ready before heading out into the world âĄ
wake up early; before 8am.
donât go on your phone. right when you wake, bask in the silence and background noise.
meditate by focusing on your breathing.
say affirmations to yourself: âi have woken up in my desired reality. today will be a good day. i am okay. iâm healthy, beautiful, and inspiring. something amazing will happen to me today. i am kind and gentle towards myself.â
stretch!
open up any blinds to let the light in
make your bed. tidy up your space.
say hello and cuddle with your pet(s)
wash your face & brush your teeth
walk your pet(s)
make a simple breakfast and drink water and/or tea and eat it outside or looking out the window.
journal. self reflect, how you feel, what youâd like to accomplish, etc. make it a goal to be more kind to yourself and keep your thoughts in check.
read a few chapters of your current read.Â
what are some things you need to get done today? make a plan and set out to get it checked off.
exercise, try a new routine.
choose an outfit, do your hair, try some new looks for the season. have fun. try new things, who knows? maybe youâll end up loving it.
go on a walk in your neighborhood.Â
get in 10,000 steps
buy yourself flowers.
light a candle
put on your favorite feel good songs. let yourself go and freely sing and dance to it.
begin your studies.
rest if needed!
try a new recipe
spend time in nature

self-doubt simply doesn't exist within me. no matter how impossible something seems or how hard it will be to achieve I'm always like "okay and?" and then I make it happen. maybe it's bc I have a proven track record of getting what I want but like nothing seems impossible to me. why would I doubt myself? I can have whatever I want, it's that simple. if other people have made it happen, that means it can be done so why would it not be able for me to get it too? no self-doubt. no need for it.
put yourself first - live for yourself and up to your own standards and stop pushing aside your needs for other people.
set healthy boundaries for yourself and others
always find new skills and hobbies to learn and pick up
have a routine that works for you
never settle for less. if it's not what you want, keep looking forward.
be bold - not letting fear stop you from being great
improve your self talk. compliment yourself more. tell yourself things will be okay.
enjoy the silence more
more self reflection!
learn how to enjoy your own company
socialize more
take yourself out on solo dates
walk with your head high, shoulders back
listening to your intuition when you first brush it off. you can find out the reason later.
start being active. move your body. go on walks, go to the gym, sign up for yoga, dance classes, pilates, etc.
continue talking when someone cuts you off.
put people in their place. if your boundaries have been crossed or you see something that isn't right, don't be afraid to speak your mind whenever you see necessary.
read more books. set a goal for each month.
seek for all sides of the story. never come to a set conclusion at first glance or none at all.
take your own advice.
be assertive. donât allow yourself to be pushed around. do what's good for you no matter what anyone says, be clear about what you want in life and go for it.
ask questions. don't be afraid to. this applies to everything.
explore different styles that pique your interest. clothes, majors, hobbies, jobs, literally everything.
journaling your thoughts and ideas.
seek validation from others
living for others when you should be living for yourself.
passively consume content on social media
having FOMO. who cares if you missed out on the latest celebrity gossip, what person cheated on who, the food pictures people are posting on their stories. does it benefit you for a lifetime? no? okay then.
saying "i'm going to do this" and not do it.
isolating yourself for a long period of time
spending more time on your phone than you are living your life. there's life outside a glowing screen. stop wasting what you have and make the best of it even if it seems "impossible". you can always make something out of nothing.
comparing yourself to others
idolizing everyone. celebrities, public figures, influencers....
letting people's limiting beliefs have a hold over you
choosing to keep the victim mentality.
putting your responsibilities and happiness aside to laze around or for other people.
sticking with your circle when you've outgrown them. i don't care how long you've known them for and how good the bond was. if they're not good for you anymore, leave.
letting people step all over you - say no and don't give in to pleases.
pushing your trauma/problems aside. your problems are no less than others. you are important too. tend to yourself.
guilt trip yourself for resting when you want/need to.
abandon your needs.
insulting yourself for failures and mistakes. it's normal, you're okay.
believing everything you see and hear whether it be online or in real life.
don't take criticism from people you wouldn't take advice from. or anyone for that matter unless it's out of the goodness of their heart (constructive)

Creating a proper morning routine can be so much fun, especially now that so many people are starting summer break; it's the perfect time to get used to a new routine! <3
Open your curtains + Window. Fresh air and sunshine are always good for you.
Read something, waking up the brain, haha.
Say good morning to your pets and/or plants. It's something cute.
Wash your face and brush your teeth. Best feeling in the morning.
Drink a glass of water and take your vitamins. I like taking my vitamins on an empty stomach, so a bit before breakfast.
Make yourself breakfast; I never understood how people can go without breakfast. I would be dead by noon, lol.
Try eating breakfast outside; literally so relaxing.
Exercise, go for a walk, try some yoga or pilates.
Journal, Paint, blog. Do something creative that makes you feel good and inspired; I obviously write blog posts, hahah.
Brew a fresh cup of coffee or tea. Slay.
Connect with your friends or family. A simple good morning text is enough and might make their day a bit better :)
Choose an outfit. Whatever you feel comfortable with, your clothes should always empower you!
Put on your favorite perfume; I like 'Thank U Next' by Ariana grande, 'Black Opium' by YSL, or Victoria's Secret body spray.
Make your bed and maybe tidy up your room a bit.
List three things you want to do today. You can also write down more but don't push yourself too much.
Do your makeup and/or hair, I'm currently trying more simple makeup for summer, and I'm loving it!!
Listen to your favorite song, my fav atm is Cry Baby by The Neighbourhood, lol.
Please feel free to add more suggestions in the comments! <3
