Have fun, and nice to meet you!
Getting a weird little hobby is actually so important bc it opens your eyes up to the world. You start crocheting or knitting, and how you see scarves and sweaters differently. You try identifying plants, now youâre seeing opposite and alternate leaf pattern. Bird watching? Every chirp draws attention and interest.
Get into weird little hobbies.
crazy how fanfic authors drop the most beautiful and gorgeous pieces of work ever, leaving you speechless and sobbing at three in the morning as you quietly contemplate the masterpiece you just read
and they donât get paid for it they just do it because theyâre having fun and they want to share their joy with you
like I would literally die for all of you fanfic authors out there reblog to swear your allegiance to fanfic authors

Kronos
hope this helps âșïž
(this is a joke, Ares is just stupid)
i want to know what was going through ares' mind when he decided to fight a child of poseidon at a beach.
donât write them sobbing in chapter 12 and âštotally fineâš by chapter 13.
thatâs not grief, thatâs emotional whiplash.
grief is a slow burn. a background buzz.
it hits in quiet momentsâlike finding their handwriting or hoodie.
âïž silence + routine = pain
newsflash: people grieve in weird ways.
some cry. some laugh. some make pancakes at 3AM and stare into the void.
some say âiâm fineâ while making wildly self-destructive life choices.
(spoiler: they are NOT fine.)
đ„ + overthinking = grief
3. grief changes people
maybe they used to be kind. now theyâre sharp.
maybe they were outgoing. now they ghost everyone.
grief isnât just sadness. itâs a plot twist.
đ grief = character development in pain-flavored packaging
if you write âa single tear rolled down their cheek,â
i will personally haunt your drafts.
instead:
âthey blinked too hard and the tears broke free like theyâd been waiting all day for an exit.â
âïž be poetic, not predictable
âą setting the table for someone whoâs not coming
âą hearing their laugh in a strangerâs voice
âą keeping their phone charged
âą not deleting their playlist
itâs the quiet stuff that hits the hardest.
đ« tiny detail = emotional chaos
write a scene where your character pretends theyâre over itâŠ
but their actions say otherwise.
(bonus points if the reader can tell but the other characters canât.)
grief doesnât end when the funeral does. Write it like a ghost that keeps showing up. Even when your character swears theyâre fine.

2012 TMNT:
Weird, tiny, mushy brain guys put into robot skins that donât know how to use grammar
2020/Rise TMNT:
Giant, sadistic, bloodthirsty brain aliens who can counteract the entire Hamato Clanâs ninpo with a flick and are weirdly British
ROTTMNT really got the worse end of the deal

Are fedoras really that bad?
YES YES THEY ARE
