Every day feels like it’s repeating itself and it’s getting to me. Forgetting what day it is on a regular basis is messing with my already scrambled brain.

From the finished Tea poll results this is what I will have to drink tomorrow morning, will update when made (i had to turn the percentages into measurements):

Tea: (1/3 cup, 5 tbs + 1 tsp)

Milk: (2 tbs + 1 tsp)

Sugar: (1.5 tbs)

Cream: (1 tbs)

Honey: (1/4 cup, 3 tbs + 1 tsp)

Vanilla Extract: (1/4 cup + 1 tsp)

Hot Water: (1/2 cup, 6 tbs + 1 tsp)

1/4 CUPS OF VANILLA EXTRACT

More vanilla extract than even water

Edit: hate to be a flake but I don’t think I’d be able to do this because:

1. I only have a small bottle of vanilla extract and I don’t want to waste pretty much all of It on a possible disaster (and the vanilla extract isn’t cheap)

2. The thought of drinking something like 1/4 of a cup of VANNILA EXTRACT is puke worthy

If any brave or crazy soul out there wants to do this, let me know how it goes

What to do if you suddenly find yourself homeless

FOOD

Find your nearest food bank or mission, for food

grocery stores with free samples, bakeries + stores with day-old bread

different fast food outlets have cheaper food and will generally let you hang out for a while.

some dollar stores carry food like cans of beans or fruit

SHELTER

Sleeping at beaches during the day is a good way to avoid suspicion and harassment

sleep with your bag strapped to you, so someone can’t steal it

Some churches offer short term residence

Find your nearest homeless shelter

Look for places that are open to the public

A large dumpster near a wall can often be moved so that flipping up the lids creates an angled shelter to stay dry

HYGIENE

A membership to the YMCA is usually only 10$, which has a shower, and sometimes laundry machines and lockers.

Public libraries have bathrooms you can use

Dollar stores carry low-end soaps and deodorant etc.

Wet wipes are all purpose and a life saver

Local beaches, go for a quick swim

Some truck stops have showers you can pay for

Staying clean is the best way to prevent disease, and potentially get a job to get back on your feet

Pack 7 pairs of socks/undies, 2 outfits, and one hooded rain jacket

OTHER
