AkuSaiMonth 2022

For anyone wondering what's up: I was asked if I would hold an AkuSaiMonth event this year and after a lot of deliberation I decided to ask for permission from @misomilk (you know, the original creator of the event!) and go for it!

Personally, I think it's a pretty fun format this year, because not only is it a bingo card (like 2015), but the BINGO CARDS HAVE RANDOMIZED PROMPT ORDERS! How cool is that?? I'm very excited about this, yes x'D

There's not a lot of time leading up to it now, I know, but if any of you feel like taking part or want to see what will be created, feel free to head over to @akusaimonth and give it a follow!! <3

Three digital drawings featuring adult Lea and Isa from Kingdom Hearts. For details about poses see the next pictures. Drawings are done in a lineless style with blocky colors. Lea is wearing a red shirt with gold-lined ruffles on a deep neckline, styled after a flame. His pants are dark and ankle-length, with a gold stripe on the side seam. He wears a golden cape over his right shoulder, held on the front by a red crystal. He also wears 2 thin, loose, golden bangles on his left forearm. Isa wears a long silver suit coat and pants. The lining of the coat is dark-blue and studded with rhinestones, like a night sky. His shirt is the same blue and the collar is fitted with rhinestones as well. He wears a silver cravat and silver hoop earrings, with two long hangers of dark-blue rhinestone on each earring. Both Lea and Isa wear a small mask on one side of the face in a similar style and shape. The masks frame Lea’s right and Isa’s left eye. Lea’s mask looks a little like a golden sun with a red inlay and golden rhinestones. He also has a line of rhinestones glued over his eyelid. Isa’s mask looks like a silver moon framed by a star, with a dark blue inlay and silver rhinestones.
The upper two drawings show Lea and Isa dancing. The lower drawing is a bust of them, highlighting the masks.

Drawing shows a close dancing step with Lea arching his back. His left arm is casually outstretched, palm resting easily on Isa’s. Isa smiles at Lea with a fond expression and Lea smiles back through half-lidded eyes.

Lea and Isa in the mid-pose of a swirl, with Lea’s right and Isa’s left hand connected on Isa’s right hip. Lea’s free hand is outstretched, Isa’s free hand reaches for Lea’s face which is centimeters from his.

Bust of Lea and Isa. They are standing close together, foreheads lightly touching. Lea’s shoulder is behind Isa’s, one of his hands rests on Isa’s chest, the other holds onto his shoulder. One of Isa’s hands rests against the side of Lea’s chest. Their eyes are closed and both of them have a slight smile on their lips

digital art kingdom hearts finished akusai leaisa isalea axelsaix akusaimonth asm22 tbh this belongs to an AU / RPG that I had with friends dream of the morrow ahh it makes me feel nostalgic ahaha this is the first time i actually managed to finish a drawing for that masquerade in eight (8!!!) years i have sketches of the masks from 2014 (i ended up not using these sketches though ehehe) anyway i'm so glad i finally managed to draw them that's one thing off my endless to-do-list x'D also i really like how this turned out! i wanted to use a simple colour style to be faster but i don't usually colour like this so it took a while to figure it out i was sick and took a day to rest and i spent that entire day colouring this in the end i had to stop because i got a blister on my middle finger i was ... a bit hyperfocussed still wasn't done after that day i spent every minute i could spare in the last two days to get this done it wasn't a lot of minutes to be fair i love the upper right drawing so much to be honest maybe i'll make myself a lockscreen out of that

I finally have free time again!! Yay! Time to show off some of the sketches I did in the last months!

First off, a selection of self-portraits I did in April and May. To me a self-portrait isn't about what I look like, but more about what it feels like to be me. I really enjoyed doing these. (Btw, the text on the third one reads: "But I like wearing a mask." Which was quite a weird realization.)

Welcome to AkuSaiMonth! A month of celebrating AkuSai & LeaIsa! It's been a hard two years, but at least ASM is back, this time with a new host (and with permission of the original creator)!

AkuSaiMonth 2022 Bingo

Similar to 2015, we will be playing bingo again, but this time with a twist: The bingo cards are randomized! Every participant will have their prompts in 1 of 30 different arrangements!

Where can I get the Bingo Card?

To claim your personal AkuSaiMonth 2022 Bingo card, click >> HERE! << Using the link on the same device and browser should (in theory) always lead to the same card. However, I would strongly recommend also saving the card by either using the print button on top or by making a screenshot.

Screenreader friendly bingo cards are available here: LINK. These are not randomized unfortunately, but you can still pick one (of three) at random! Please let me know if you run into any problems!

See the end of the post for a plain text list of the prompts in alphabetical order.

And here is one example Bingo card: You can use this one as well of course, but give the randomized cards a chance!

A simple, monochrome bingo. Headline reads "AkuSaiMonth 2022" in a serif font. The 25 prompts are contained in grey lines (Prompt list at the bottom of the post). The footer reads "MyFreeBingoCards.com".

How does it work?

The goal is to get one "Bingo!" during the month (Jul 7 – Aug 8) by filling 5 prompts in a row, column or diagonal.

This could mean one post every week, for example:

Post 1: Friday, July 8 (IsaLea Day)

Post 2: Saturday, July 16

Post 3: Saturday, July 23

Post 4: Sunday, July 31

Post 5: Sunday, August 7 (AkuSai Day) -> Bingo! <3

You are of course allowed to do less than five prompts (one is perfectly fine! <3) or even fill out the entire bingo card (I wish I had your time management skills)!

WHAT: A month-long celebration for AxelxSaix (LeaxIsa) and vice versa. WHEN: July 8 (Saixel Day) – August 7 (Akusai Day), 2016

Hello, fellow akusai shippers! Are your hearts still broken? OTL Yes, that’s right. This year we’ll be celebrating our heart-aching ship again!

Unlike the other years, however, the two modes will not be SLOW BURN and BERSERK, but ECLIPSE and DAYTIME MOON, which are two different sets of prompts. Eclipse is catered to graphics/video/playlist makers, while Daytime Moon is catered to writers and artists. You may choose whichever set that fits your fancy for the medium you’d like to work on (e.g. use Daytime Moon for graphics), and you can even accomplish both sets. :)

NOTE: For prompts marked with “/” you must choose between the two specified.

Posting dates and themes for each set are noted in the graphic above, but for copy-pasting (and better reading) purposes, they can be found under the cut.

Happens from time to time. "Sometimes? You are aware that school starts in three days?“ "Yeah, I know, I was just thinking …“ "Thinking.“ You sounded as though you doubted I could do that even if I tried. "I thought 'I hope we can always be together like that'“, I said straight enough. And of course you’re caught of guard. And of course I can see your face brighten up, almost shine for one moment, before you turn back to your usual sarcastic pokerface. "Stuck up in homework? No, thank you.“ Still, I can see the little smile you can’t hold back and I know that you are wishing for it just as much as I do. Then again, I already knew that before, didn’t I?

I love it when Axel explains summer vacations in 358/2 Days. I can't help but imagine him and Isa doing exactly that, postponing homework to the very last moment and just somehow managing to get it done in time together. I don't know, this thought makes me just so happy xD

This made me flip through my old ConHon once I was back home and – wow, it really is time to bring that tradition back.
