So in your mind Bakugou, a child, should have died? Really?
Bakugou is a fictional character.
The parasocial relationship and puritan crap I keep seeing is just weird.
But if you actually want what I think should have happened with Bakugou? I said it before: his arc should have ended with him being mid-rank and completely content with being a secondary hero. No agency, no top twenty position.
Bakugou is set up as being what society thinks a hero should be. Strong, fit, Flashy Quirk.
Yet as we know he's not a good perso. He makes fun of the guy who doesn't have a Quirk which is treated as a disability. He uses rude nicknames which kinda are Quirkist to. Commenting on the physical appearance of mutant characters who are said to suffer from discrimination due to said appearance. The fact he not only purposely triggers a side effect of a Quirk but seems to mug Kaminari for money to give to Kirishima despite the fact he is a rich kid. (I can’t remember if its said the money is his or not but its one of those panels I never know about.) The aggressiveness, the rudeness- it adds up.
What should have happened if we want to make Bakugou go through character development to be a better person is that he 1) faces more consequences for his attitude then he does in canon (IE: he is called out for the insults and name calling. A few angry comments from Shouji, Tsu or any of the mutant characters should have occurred. He gets called out and when he doesn't change people avoid him. He is ignored by them unless they are working with him or he needs help. Its made clear they do not want to be around him.) 2) faces actual punishment for his actions towards Izuku or others (IE: Kaminari makes a complaint about being forced into whey mode, Bakugou gets a warning or something. He receives punishment for nearly killing Izuku during the battle trials and ignoring a teacher. He is disqualified for trying to attack Todoroki after his match at the sports festival, not that mess of a situation) 3) Is not in any way an ‘important’ character.
The third one is tricky so I'll explain. It goes beyond the ‘Izuku shouldn't be have to be friends with Bakugou like he kind of is’ issues I have.
By this I mean Bakugou should be redundant as a character and the narrative shows it. He should find himself sinking while everyone else climbs higher. His Quirk SHOULD have actually drawbacks we see. Not just the mention of wrist issues. We should see him hurt himself and need to take a second. He should have frankly lost the sports festival to Uraraka and not gone on. And part of that SHOULD have been his Quirk not working how he wanted it to. Because the world relies on Quirks and Bakugou is hyper reliant on his.
Make it clear that's why. Then I want Bakugou to not be at the top of the class. Why? Because he is the normal fish who moved from his tiny pond to a big old ocean. Yes, he’s smart but take it from someone whose brother was smart in a small town: that don’t mean shit when your teachers suck.
Bakugou can be top ten. I just want him to have to face the fact he isn't the top of the class. The big dog on campus because everyone else is just as driven as he is, and some of them are smarter or faster or more skilled then he is.
This should end with Bakugou making his realization after the final exams where he hits Izuku and is flunked for it. It should have been noted and due to the fact in a real situation like that you'd end up probably arrested or investigated, he fails.
This should have been the turning point. When we actually see Bakugou break down. When the class has stepped away from him. When the only one sticking around is Kirishima because the guy honestly thinks Bakugou can be a better person.
Key phrase: CAN BE. Not that he is. I want it to be clear Kirishima sees good in Bakugou and wants to bring it out. Not that Bakugou is secretly a tsundere.
This is the turning point became it leads to the LOV attacking the camp looking for Bakugou because they see him like them. I want them to have noticied his antics in the festival where he is aggressive and loud. I'd like for Aoyama to have been feeding info about recruits. I want Bakugou to hear they want HIM as he's villainous and this should shake him.
He isn't kidnapped. Someone else is. Tokoyami actually to bring focus to mutation and Quirk discrimination.
I want Bakugou to truly have to look at HIMSELF as a person. And realize he isn't what he wants to be. A hero.
This leads into him eventually becoming a much better person as he works through his shit. Its going to be messy. And I want him to struggle through it. While doing so he slowly fades into the background. We turn attention to Uraraka, Todoroki, Tsu, Aoyama and Iida as the secondary characters to our protagonist Izuku.
We get to know them, we get to know Aoyama as he integrates himself into their circle. We have way more of a punch for the traitor.
In the end I want an apology from Bakugou to Izuku that is meaningful and honest and then… he goes off, becomes a hero ranked like 150 and is happy. He's buddies with Kirishima and a few others, he goes to the reunion with a hi. Maybe the offer of a team up or not.
And I think that would have been the perfect ending to his arc. From the bully to the atoner.
"Come watch." "I won't forget." "I better see you!"

MHA Wild AF for calling this man a villain when really he was just activating for basic human rights
The opportunity presented itself to try a sake bath recently, which I did, in Douma's honor. I didn't notice the fragrance unless I was looking for it, and my skin was a little flushed afterward and I found myself a bit light-headed, probably more from the extra warmth than the small amount of alcohol. Anyway, please enjoy all the chaotic energy this wound up having.
(and Kyojuro’s is very persistent)
I did not come up with this joke - I could not for the life of me find the post that inspired this (even though I swore I saved it because it had me cackling).
First one to find it for me so I can credit them wins!
don’t piss me off. you don’t know who you are messing with.
I decided to do this solely based on canon, except for F which are so bad that they transcend the rule. I also put this in the lens of do I enjoy watching them, or do they infuriate me. Most of the ones in G are there because I can't tell who they are from the picture, or are so minor I don't get why they were on the list to begin with
Hawks was the hardest to place because as I've mentioned before I love villain fanon Hawks, and hate Canon for all the missed potential and the guy being shit.
Before the last arc, Deku would have been in C, and I felt most criticisms of him were undeserved. I still feel a lot of them are dumb, however, he's canonically a hypocritical, suck-up to labels, abuse apologist, idiot, etc. As much as it feels like character assassination it's canon, same with Shoji. I also just don't care to read fanfiction of him, and feel he takes a lot of roles where other characters would make more sense. If I'm not already following someone I'm not going to read fanfiction with him in it
Most of E I hate as much if not more than F but the fandom either doesn't write about, or treat them like the pieces of crap they are, looking at Mineta of course.
Fun fact Edgeshot is in E for bringing Bakugo back, and causing me both meta and dramatic issues for me. What the fuck was the point of killing Bakugo to immediately bring him back. How the fuck did Edgeshot know he could do this? How the fuck did he know how to do this? Why the fuck is he doing this for some random teenager he has never interacted with before, in the middle of a war? And now why the fuck does this fucker get to live, no one gave a single fuck about Edgeshot but he gets to live!
Centipeder would have been in E if not for the fact I know what my ringtone for him would be, Red Flags by Tom Cardy
Uraraka owes her rank in B for her arc with Toga, otherwise, she would have been in D. For the plot forgoing her original motivations so they could turn her into a generic love interest. Toga tried talking crushes with her 'twice' everything else regarding that shit, which started before they ever met, is on her
I actually love Endeavor fanfics as most of them either a treat his abuse for what it is, or b I view them as an own on canon Endeavor and his incredible laziness and selfishness. But Twitter exists and they flock to him and his bullshit so to F with him.
Speaking of Fs, Bakugo is a whiney spoiled rotten brat with a silver spoon shoved into his mouth since birth. I hope he never breeds. Damn near every shit thing that has happened to him, was either brought on by himself, literally applied to everyone, he literally doesn't care, and even with the two exceptions I'd give this, the Sludge guy, and being chained up at the sports fest (he should have been disqualified), do not justify his shit
Congrats to Dark Shadow and Tokoyami for being the only hero (student) to make it past B
Needless to say I love villains, Dabi is by far my favourite, followed by Himiko, they are way more engaging and convincing than the heroes. And by convincing I mean it actually feels like they are going to put in effort to make their goals happen, not just wish really hard. I truly wish we could have seen how Shigaraki's goals shifted during his reign over the PLF. We had already seen how he wanted the League to be happy and an exception to his goal of destruction

Okay the Timid Muzan headcanons au but maybe the reason why Akaza hated Muzan's timid personality is because everything about him reminds Akaza of his late biological father? Whether he suddenly remembers or not, and becomes more loyal or kinder to Muzan if he does suddenly remember or choose to stay away, you can choose!
Could I get some headcanons for that? Thanks in advance! ^^ 💕

While Akaza doesn't remember his past (as he does when fighting Tanjirou later in the manga), he does remember certain feelings. When he looks at Muzan, a sense of familiarity washes over him. He hates the fact that he feels as if he's seen this scene before, he just can't remember why or when.
Akaza might limit his time with Muzan at first, only seeing him if he was requested, but after some time of Muzan breaking down his walls with his kind exterior and need for protection, Akaza will eventually succumb to the tranquility the other Upper Moons have been experiencing. He'll stick more to Muzan's side, seeing if there's anything he can do to help ease Muzan's mind and thoughts.
Akaza's father was sick and wanted Akaza to live an honest life, one where he wouldn't steal, even if he stole so Akaza could pay for his medicine. Akaza feels a sense of nostalgia from Muzan's personality and actions because of the kindness he shows, just like his late father did. Muzan wishes nothing but the best for the Upper Moons and Muzan will try and put his fear aside to protect his loyal followers if one or more Upper Moons find themselves in great trouble.
Muzan uses his strength to protect Akaza and the Upper Moons like they're his children, so Akaza learns to respect Muzan for this. Muzan wishes to use his powers to protect those just as how Akaza's father tried to protect him from the consequences of stealing.
Akaza used to get beaten as punishment for stealing, but his loyalty to his father caused him to keep on stealing in hopes he could help his dad by buying medicine. Because of Akaza's loyalty to his father, Muzan's goal to protect the Upper Moons just as Akaza's father wished to protect him is what earns his loyalty.
Akaza will stick around Muzan more, personally volunteer to complete missions and watch out for Muzan if there's any danger nearby. He won't speak kind words to Muzan, he feels that insulting to Muzan (and his own) strength, like he's belittling him, so he uses his strength and abilities to protect Muzan and go on missions to show his gratitude.
Thank you for requesting! I do hope this is what you mean, it's a little hard to write Akaza's thoughts on Muzan when Muzan is supposed to be a merciless demon, along with how Akaza doesn't canonly remember his past until fighting Tanjirou.

There is such a profound difference in the way Tanjiro's trauma is handled compared to Izuku's.
Tanjiro's pain isn't ignored. It's part of him, and the narrative goes out of its way to acknowledge that he's still affected by it even when he's smiling. Even in this scene where it's a villager internally acknowledging his pain, it's still Tanjiro's expression and gestures that are communicating with us.
Izuku is so disconnected from his trauma. To the point where we never even get to know how he feels about it. We hear speculation from All Might, talking to his abuser no less. Izuku isn't even present in this scene, he's off to the side.
