that or he's really bad at character design
Under the cut cuz this is gonna be long. Also tw for the sexualising of minors
First off, let's start with Midnight, her hero moniker the the 18+ hero, right? Normally wouldn't be a problem, he's an adult she can do what she wants, except for one small detail: you choose your hero name when your 15/16. So unless the rules changed, that means a FIVETEEN year old is marketing herself as 18+. You could say Hori just forgot, but combined with her hero costume when she was 17, I'm not so quick to believe that (for those who haven't seen it, it's described as so revealing that had to change the rules on what your hero costume can look like)
Now, let's get on the the current cast:
Hagakure is naked. Just. Straight up nude. Mirio gets a suit made of his DNA, but Hagakure can't? Weird. Also, there's a gag where Snipe accidentally touches her boob. I don't think there's more to be said here
Momo's suit is notorious for being bad, the camel toe must be absolutely insane there's no reason to have it cut like that??? Also the boob window is. Weird. Also why does she have high heels?
Uraraka's suits weird pelvis thing doesn't really need to be there?? It could be for protection but all of her organs are exposed with nothing but a skin tight suit to protect them. Also, high heels. Again
As for Mina, skin tight again, but with added boob window. Atleast she doesn't have heels. Also why does nobody have knee or elbow protection
Tsu and Jirou have the least amount of problems in their suits, with Tsu only falling into the skin tight suit category
Also as for the boys, Kirishima. Why are you shirtless. Please.
As for bad suits, who in the hell thought Todoroki covering himself in ice was a good idea??? He's going to get hypothermia.
And this isn't even covering 1B, or Toga?? Don't get me STARTED on Toga.

As you both notice, it's kind of funny how the interactions of Dr Garaki with both Nine and Shigaraki are such different in the way the scientist treats them (despite both are just lab rats in the end).
Because see how Garaki openly insults, disrespects and laughs of Shigaraki ideas in front of his supposed friends.
Garaki probably felt almost insulted for having to keep the game going just because AFO wants Shigaraki to have this illusion of free choice, when in reality he's just a kid which they still have in the palm of their hand.
Even after MVA when Garaki shows a bit more of tolerancy to Shigaraki for mantain the illusion, in the inside he still makes fun of him because obviously he's the only person to really know Shigaraki is just a vessel playing to be the super villain.
But then we have his interview with Nine...
Notice how the aptitude and demeanor of the doctor is completely the opposite of what we saw with Shigaraki.
Despite obviously he's offering Nine be part of a shady experiment, he acts strangely polite and even shows a bit of curiosity when Nine expose his motives to be part in the experiment.
But also, Garaki thinks Nine is a dangerous individual despite in theory he should be the one in control of the situation and unlike in Shigaraki's case, Nine is alone in front of the doctor.
The biggest difference on how Garaki view Nine and Shigaraki, is that in the first case he sees a real man with strong convictions and an indomitable will who could actually change the curse of the world if he's given the chance.
This is my headcanon, but I think Garaki saw in Nine's eyes the closet to AFO in spirit and convictions (and it's interesting how both of them have the same white/silver eyes, coincidende?).
But for Shigaraki?
He only sees a dumb kid who doesn't even understand the situation he's in. A more obvious puppet who can be used the way he likes.
Shigaraki never had any chance with Garaki.
Oh I forgot to mention, but it's also funny as hell how the doctor shows more respect to Dabi in their private conversations than he does with Shigaraki in the same situation.
This happens because just like Nine, Dabi was a dangerous person who can't be controled so easily by him. So at least it gives him a bit more of respect by the crazy doctor.
brought to you by, "I'm realizing I have a very distinct type when it comes to favorite characters and I am concerned with what this says about me as a person"
It really leaves a sour taste in my mouth how 1A really does fuck all to be there for Izuku while does everything to be there for them.
They sit by and let Bakugou bully Izuku.
While watching Izuku (and ONLY Izuku btw) trying to make sure Eri had a good time at the School Festival, they call him disappearing to get candy apples troublesome and problematic.
Instead of examining WHY Izuku believed it was safer for everyone if he struck out on his own and pushed himself to his physical and emotional breaking point, they take Bakugou of all people at his word that it's All Might's fault, ambush him, and then quite literally beat him into submission.
While Izuku's grappling with the trauma of losing OFA and having killed Shigaraki, no one checks up on him or reassures him that he's not some horrible murderer. I understand that they all had their own traumas, but if they could rightfully be there for Ochako, there's no way in hell they couldn't have done the same for Izuku.
Once Izuku loses OFA and graduates, 1A falls out of contact with him while his supposed first ever actual friends make a hero team on their own. Technology exists. They could have at the very least texted him, especially considering how sad and lonely those 8 years were for him. To make matters worse, they only get back in contact with him once he has the means of being a hero again through Iron Izuku (for that matter, did Tokoyami wind up getting Dark Shadow back?). To make matters even more worse, it's implied that they're all still in contact with Bakugou, who has done absolutely nothing to change his behavior and is a-okay after being told he wouldn't be able to use his arms again.
Really, for such an amazing found family, they're a bunch of fake ass friends to him in canon. I've seen fanfics that are infinitely better than canon at making 1A and Izuku's bond a more mutual thing.
Goodness gracious
satoruspookie and that dekacchan weirdo or whatever the fuck her name is on twitter, are probably the two most embarrassing and cringiest bkdk shippers I've ever seen in my life
their extremely high levels of copium and the amount of mental gymnastics they have been doing over the past few weeks have been nothing else but incredibly amusing to see (filming themselves crying over bkdk not getting canon, blocking Horikoshi on Twitter, claiming chapter 431 is not canon and is actually AI-generated, as well as spreading around all sorts of misinformation etc.)—and for what exactly? for holding onto that tiniest sliver of hope that their toxic, garbage ship would get canon instead of Izuocha?
in famous words of Michael Jordan:
It always bothers me when fans mock or make fun of critics/antis for constantly making posts venting their grievances about a story they dislike and say shit like “oooh why can’t u just talk about something u like11” or “pfft, get a life and do something more productive than complaining about a show!” and plenty of other shit.
Not only does this come across as condescending, it’s also hypocritical. So if people aren’t allowed to make posts about things they don’t like…I guess that means that fans can’t make posts about things they do like. I throw these same arguments fans use against people who complain about something that’s enjoyed by a good amount of people. “OMG why do you care so much about a stupid show” and shit like that.
Fans like these don’t realize that the reason for why people talk about things they don’t like is the same reason for why people talk about things they do like; they are passionate about it and enjoy analyzing it. They like breaking it down because they just enjoy media analysis. It’s not unhealthy, it’s not obsessive, it’s just a perfectly normal way of consuming media. And critical communities on Tumblr allow for a safe space for people to voice their grievances about a piece of work without being harassed by deranged stans.
My point is; let people make blogs criticizing shows whenever the fuck they want. What they are doing is no different than what fans of the work are doing; analyzing the story and voicing their opinions.
In light of the last ask I got, it's so interesting that now Izuku is getting hate. Because when he was a blank prop who worshipped Bakugou at every turn, that was fine. When he didn't show a hint of malice against Bakugou, that was defended as him just not holding a grudge. But now that he's exercising agency against his abuser as a conscious adult who's (presumably) had time to come to terms with his trauma, y'all are mad?
Bakugou stans and BakuDeku shippers never cared about Izuku. They only cared about how he could make Bakugou look better. Now that he isn't doing that anymore, he's being thrown out like garbage
The real reason he had to kill his doctor…
I also need yall to know that Tetsutetsu canonically accompanies his female classmates when they go out at night, even if they're only traveling a short distance. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu the #1 protector of women, god fuckin bless.
