So this might be a hot take or it might not be but I 100% believe Bakugo was an entitled kid whose parents probably spoiled the fuck out of him along with everyone else. Or at the very least probably fueled his superiority complex. And the entire reason for the inferiority complex he had is because he knew Izuku was better than him in every way except being quirkless and that's why he was such a shit to him. Hell we see Bakugo's thought process play out during his shittastic "apology" because Izuku tried to help him when he fell into the river he's a better person than Bakugo because he has fucking empathy for everyone and Bakugo couldn't stand that. And it's a large part of why I will never like Bakugo as a character. Fundamentally could he have changed? Yes. But the execution of his change was done so poorly that even Horikoshi admitted in the epilogue that Bakugo is still not a good person. He still treats others poorly and will probably go down in the rankings because of that. He's an entitled shit who never had anyone truly check his behavior and just because he's done a few good things does not outweigh all the bad he's done and continues to do.

Hey y’all how are you? And welcome to my page, or rather this post specifically. For private reasons I won’t disclose any of my identity, but I assure you I’m over 18+ and I go by she / her pronouns.
I’ve only recently gotten into this ship but it feels like I’m not really actively engaging in the ship despite my hyperfixtation on it, so for that I decided to create this post. But I also created this post because I’m currently on a burnout with a fanfic of mine that’s basically a big project but I’m still itching to write atleast something.
This is also my first time writing these two characters, let alone KNY / Demon Slayer. I intend to write my fanfic as accurate as possible to the plot so I’m open to constructive criticism (keyword: constructive, not hate).
Currently I have zero ideas, so I’m asking whoever’s reading this to send me requests. However not every request you send I will accept, only if said request crosses a specific boundary I didn’t list below. And the requests I do accept will have it’s own hashtag or will be linked below so you could easily access.
I will only be doing oneshots, however if I find myself enjoying the prompt I may extend the fic into multiple chapters.
You can send requests both user and anonymously, I don’t mind either way!
•Short prompt, maximum 100 words. Sorry I will get a little overwhelmed if you send me a very long request. However feel free to send additional information afterwards only if you’ve forgotten and it’s crucial to the prompt. (Make sure you list the tags, theme or refs -not included in the word limit- Will it be Crack? Angst? Horror? Fluff? And try not to be too vague about your requests please)
•If you want me to do an AU inspired by another entertainment media, please ask because I may not be familiar with it. Once I approve you can send the full prompt.
•No NSFW, that which I mean no sexual content. This includes description of nudity, masturbation, softcore, kinks, and especially non-con / coercion / rape. (Pretty self explanatory, because I’m the type of person that enjoys consent no matter what)
•No proship, that’s also self explanatory.
•Unless the background ship’s are explicitly stated, all other relationships will stick to canon.
Additional Information:
Don’t plagiarise, repost, make fanwork of my fanfic or request for collab. Sorry I’m not comfortable with anyone making fanwork, and I’m not available whatsoever to do a collab.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding which prompt I will or will not be accepting that I haven’t listed here, don’t hesitate to ask, I’ll be happy to answer!
My replies or updates will be very slow so please be patient with me.
Thank you for reading and respecting my wishes.

Goodness gracious
hagakure is pretty but so simple as well. she looks like female izuku for me… also I’m not even surprised with her choice of “costume” lmao can’t event be myself to be disappointed and at this point I think it’s just sad that I was already expecting such things from hori
A friend pointed said they weren't surprised about this because Hori had gone back and edited his work to add more sex appeal (like the woman All Might saved in the fight against AFO who's breasts were made bigger for no reason).
I'm disappointed because it shows us that this is how he views his females: they're there for the reader to get off on. What does this magazine cover do for his work beyond being their for the male gaze? It doesn't represent Hagakure as the character she is (though barely developed because Hori has forgotten about his side cast, especially the female varients) and it doesn't represent her as a hero which in turn represents his work. It might as well be a cover for a hentai.
Hagakure's nakedness could have been included in his story too in a what that wasn't just a gag. I shared this with some friends yesterday and I stand by it:
Transcript: You know, it's made me think about how he could have included Hagakure's nakedness into the story and work it into the themes of heroes being show things: her being told that she doesn't need a costume because of her invisibility and how she feels about having to be naked to do her job (especially when she learns she never actually had to be). It could have explored women being taken advantage of in work environments and how their bodies are used to sell to an audience, especially in show business, and the advantages and disadvantages of costumes (like Midnight's debut where it was better for her to not wear one until she found an alternative or Mirio loosing his clothes and being attacked for "indecent exposure")
But she's reduced to a naked girl on the cover of a magazine to draw in views with no deeper meaning instead.
Hori really does love rewarding characters who don't deserve it, while punishing those who actually give a damn.
Bakugou's a bullying, narcissistic, idiotic moron of an asshole who lived a golden spoon life of wealth and being spoiled (conformed by Hori himself)? The narrative and characters bend over backwards to accommodate him. Obviously he's this genius prodigy who inspires everyone, even though his behavior in the field would realistically get people hurt and/or killed.
Shinsou's a whiny scrub with a victim complex? He gets favoritism from Shota "I hate favoritism" Aizawa himself AND gets to join the hero course.
Endeavor's outed as an abusive person? Well, obviously the people criticizing him are in the wrong, and this is supposed to be kept within the family!
Nighteye is a creepy and pathetic control freak who uses teenagers for his own means and doesn't understand the word 'no'? He was coming from a good place, and he was right in the end!
All Might's been put on a pedestal for the past 40+ years and makes mistakes because he's a human being? No, he's an idiot of a mentor who gets criticized and villified for breathing.
Aoyama's forced into being the traitor because of his parents and clearly hates doing it? Bye bye, he's leaving the hero course and getting replaced by someone who didn't care to actually TRY to prepare for UA.
Izuku operates within the law and tries to work with his bully? No, HE'S the one in the wrong and he's not allowed to be at least slightly resentful when he's screwed over by those around him. Not to mention, he's seldom been apologized to by those who wrong him.
The journalists rightfully call out UA on coddling Bakugou and doing a shit job at protecting their students? Obviously it's a smear campaign against UA, and who cares if Aizawa didn't even answer the journalist who directly called him out on not doing his job as a teacher and getting Bakugou's head out of his ass.
I'm so glad I dropped this series, because what in the actual fuck was Hori on while writing it?
It's such a pattern of rewarding shitty behavior that it's actually gross. And you know what? It exactly perpetuates what the narrative was trying to call out before Horikoshi changed everything. He literally actively wrote against his own thesis. That's got to be some kind of cruel irony right?
For being the main antagonist of this series, there is a reason why people naturally gravitate more towards his Upper Moons, and that is the execution of his characterization. I’m sure many of you have come across posts explaining the references to natural disasters and his philosophy and also his constant claims to godhood, which are aspects that I do think Gotouge intended to share, but it’s not particularly delved into.
I have had complaints before that it was really difficult to relate to Muzan’s character in any way. Now, I realize that was the point Gotouge was intending to make, however this realization didn’t quite satisfy me like it should have. He’s arrogant, stubborn, and sometimes flat out childish, but at no point do we see any strengths. It’s not clear if he has a genuine passion for science. Or for learning in general. He doesn’t have a single likeable trait to contrast his faults, other than he’s charismatic, but we do not see that part of him nearly as much as we should.
His motivations for becoming the perfect Demon don’t have any plans afterwards, either. Like, what was he going to do after he accomplished his goal? We don’t know. And the fact that we really don’t know, when it should have been stated at some point, is not great, since again, this is our main antagonist. In a shounen.
I don’t know, I don’t doubt Gotouge had big ideas for Muzan, but it feels like they really bit off more than they could chew, and the genre that Muzan is placed in being action-focused didn’t do him any favors. I am a firm believer of the idea that he would have fared much better in some Edwardian era science horror where his philosophy and unique outlook on life would have been expected to be properly explored. But, yeah…
How appropriate.
This is Kaori, she’s the Hidden Wood (Kobayashi clan) village doctor and the first wife to the clan leader Jiro Kobayashi. Her personality is quite timid but she is very stubborn when she wants to. Her work with medicine and herbs is unmatched to anyone, her passione to help people comes off as healing to the point the marking on her forehead appeared after her patients are properly nursed back to health.
But due to her patients being healed from even the most life threatening condition she was seen as a witch in her old village and was treated so poorly that she was banished from the village. When she stumbled upon the Hidden Wood village she healed an injured bear and it guided her into the village. The elders saw that she was no threat and had them tended to an injured Jiro. Once nursed back to health they fell in love and got married. He gifted her that hair pin she wears.
Jiro also has two other wives, after marrying Kaori he marries Tenshi who was a fellow hashira that he met through his sister Akira and lastly the women he was formerly engaged to named Ares. Who unfortunately got married by Tengen after Jiro called it off due to a family crisis.
I think we all like black muzan, tbh
