I’ve had this idea of a Percy Jackson/DC crossover in my head for a while and at first it was just a way to jot down the basic universe info, then it became a fully fledged universe.

And You’ll Never Bear the Weight of Two

“You promise you wont hurt us?” Percy stuck his pinkie out, green eyes staring at the whites of his cowl.

It was comical how big Batman’s hands were compared to Percy’s. The gloved finger swallowed Percy’s when he wrapped around his, and Jason had to hold back his shock when Batman gave his brother a smile. “I promise.”

His back faced the child, one hand digging it’s nails into the hardwood railing of the stairs, the other fisted at his side. “You promised me you wouldn’t hurt us! Would hurt him! You’re a liar!”

“Is…Is Percy…?” He didn’t want to speak the words aloud, frightened that the universe would put that plan into motion.

“He isn’t here, young master,” Alfred eyes couldn’t meet his. “He’s gone missing.”

That was worse than being dead, Dick thinks. At least if he was dead, then he’d be here. His name would be carved into stone beside Jason’s, his own flowers decorating the grave. But he wasn’t. He was gone. His little brother was somewhere in the world without them and he didn’t even know where, didn’t know when, didn’t know how it happened.

What happened when he went to New York? Worry began to fill Tim’s stomach. He wondered if Percy was put up to this, threatened to do something for someone, because there was no way he was doing this of his own volition.”
