hello! this is moetrash/ch20youk, the current maintainer of the ridgeside village mod. i'm trying to get back into tumblr after years of absence, but specifically for sdv content - so i thought, what better way to reintroduce myself than with some wip jio ^^ (this is my old anime blog - i may make a separate account for sdv stuff, but i guess i'll use this one for now!)
Hi there, i feel like our spouse doesn't react much to all the magical weirdness on our farm
Can i get some hc for Sdv+sve spouses one day waking up and being able to see an army of juminos recolting crops (farmer have like 4/6 juminos huts and lots of crops)
And the farmer just say "oh you can finally see them" while giving the juminos some raisins.
Heya π Thank you for your ask, dear anon! (and I apologize for taking a little longer to answer π ).

SDV/SVE bachelors:
Alex can't believe his own ears! Spirits? For real? No way! The athlete dropped everything and quickly walked over to one of the Junimo and started poking at them, causing the little creature to squeak. "Alex, don't be rude. At least offer them raisins first." "Oh, sorry..." But he can't help himself because... a real spirits!
"Hey hon, I made you coffee-" Stepping out onto the front porch of the farm house, Shane found an army of apples with eyes and arms and legs following Farmer around like little chickens following mama hen. With a "fuck this shit, I'm out" face, he walked back home, thinking it was all from lack of sleep.
Sam's eyes nearly popped out of his orbits when he saw Farmer surrounded by apple-like creatures that were jumping and reaching for the raisins in Farmer's hands. The guitarist approached his spouse with an obvious question, but his stomach rumbled treacherously. "Do you have any raisins left for me?" Breakfast first, question later.
"Huh." That was all Sebastian expressed as he treated Junimo to some raisins. This creatures kinda cute, actually. "Sebby, dear, didn't it surprise you at all?" *Sebastian looks at the huge slime hutch, the coop with void chickens, the giant golden clock and the four tall warp obelisks* "Nah, not really, why?"
Not believing his own eyes, Harvey wiped his glasses and looked again, but what he saw before him had not changed. Farmer was still standing over the strange leaf house, and the apple-like creatures were still jumping around them. The doctor felt a little uneasy. He wants to ask. At the same time, he doesn't want to ask anything, lest he break his mind completely.
At first Elliott couldn't understand why there were different apples lying around his spouse. Red, yellow, green... blue and purple? Until those apples had eyes, arms and legs. "Good morning, Elliott, did you sleep well?" Apparently not, because the writer feels that sleep deprivation is making him see some... jumping apples.
Why would Magnus be surprised by the existence of Junimo? In fact, he's the one who introduced Farmer to these creatures. Interest in how his spouse had made friends quickly with the forest spirits, yes, but surprised? He is a wizard, he'd seen more stranger things than that in his life.
Well, that.... explains why Farmer refused Victor's advice to hire some helpers for the farm. Turns out his beloved spouse already has helpers... Little, apple-like helpers. Victor knows magic exists, but he didn't think he'd see something like this in real life. This is great, actually. Very interesting.
Does Lance see Junimo? *Chuckle* Of course, dear Farmer, and not only does he see them, but he even managed to ask the little forest spirits a few questions. For a good portion of raisins, because they love this treat so much. When else would the gallant adventurer have a chance to chat with Junimos, hm?

SDV/SVE bachelorettes:
It had been about half a minute, and Maru couldn't let go of the idea that what she was seeing was the work of magic, and not Farmer's little robotic assistants. Magic, spirits... No, that somehow doesn't fit in her head. She's determined to study these 'Junimos' to see who or what they are. Erm, if the Farmer and the creatures themselves don't mind, of course.
You know that state when you have a lot of conflicting emotions bubbling up inside you, you don't know how to react to your own cognitive dissonance about the "magic" that is right in front of your eyes, but you try to stay positive for the sake of the person you love? That's what Penny was experiencing when her spouse was showing her forest spirits.
"Oh, so cute!" Abigail has a bit of magic in her, so of course she can see Junimo too. She's in awe of these forest creatures! And they are such wonderful helpers, harvesting the crops. "My spouse pays you well, yeah?" And the little Junimos jump around happily with tasty raisins in their little hands.
"Eeew! What is tha- Ah, okay, at least it's not rats." Apparently Haley can excuse cute magical forest spirits, but she draws the line when it comes to rats. Because she's terrified of those rodents, yuck. Junimos at least help her beloved Farmer with work, and they smell like forest freshness.
Merciful Yoba! Emily felt the presence of someone's unusual aura, but she couldn't explain who it was coming from. It turned out that all the time the little apple-shaped creatures had been at the farm and had helped her spouse! Kind spirits, how wonderful! And they like raisins? Oh, she sure has a treat for her new forest friends!
Huh, when Leah mentioned that Stardew Valley is "full of magic," she meant that it's full of inspiration for her future works, not literally... Oh, well. Yes, strange little creatures live with her and Farmer, so what? They're cute, kind, and hard-working. Great neighbours (not like she had when she lived in the Zuzu City).
Olivia thought all week that there were a bunch of mice running around the farm, stealing the ripe wheat. After expressing their fears to Farmer that their crops might be destroyed by pests, Farmer showed their wife that it wasn't mice, but little helpers, Junimos, who live there. ...She need a glass of wine. Maybe two.
"Oh, do you see them too, dear?" To be honest, Claire would rather not see them. Not that she minded the cute, erm, creatures, just... Eh, you know what? Why should she be surprised at all? There are so many unusual things and creatures (golden chickens, slimes) on her spouse's farm that there's no point in her being surprised.
Sophia was stuck somewhere between the "Adorable lil apples!" and "Eeeeep! What is that?!" when she saw her spouse surrounded by a dozen magical Junimos. The pink-haired girl floods Farmer with questions and tries to take pictures of the forest creatures on her phone, to show Scarlett (only they've scattered now, awww!)

Okay. Okay. Breathe.
So there I was, staring death in the face, when suddenly BOOM! Caldarus materializes out of thin air, all radiant and powerful like some kind of divine deity.
"Oh, thank goodness you are safe."
Sir. SIR. You just broke the fundamental laws of existence, took on a PHYSICAL FORM, and all you have to say is "thank goodness" like you didnβt just pull the most dramatic power move in history?!
And the way he looked at me. So relieved, like he had been genuinely worried. Meanwhile, Iβm over here still trying to process the fact that an ancient dragon just willed himself into reality for me. For me.
Other romance candidates? Yeah, pack it up. This man started at SIX HEARTS. SIX. I didnβt even have to drown him in apple honey curry or fried rice first.
Heβs so majestic. (βΏ β‘βΏβ‘)
Plot twist: Unknown to the mages and adventurers. Farmer was just acting the entire time. Despite all their prized possessions being removed from their person. They still have access to their CJB Cheats. Farmer simply stands up dusting their clothes despite being surrounded by monsters but their not showing any pain. The spectators finds this shocking. The Farmer flips off their (soon to be ex) lovers and teleports away. Decides to reset the day and avoid that encounter again or maybe break up with them.
I'm calling it now: there's going to be a group-ten heart cutscene with every Castle Village marriagable where they all confront the Farmer if they're dating all of them in the next update. Any thoughts on the idea? π
*Rubbing my hands together in anticipation* Oh-ho-ho-ho, I want to believe that they'll add this event in update 2.0. Well, I think so at least because in the vanilla version of the group 10β€οΈ event only Victor was added, but not Lance and Magnus. So there is a suggestion that there will be a separate group event for the two of them and the other residents of Castle Village.
About my thoughts.... Hehehe, it would be funny if the resourceful adventurers didn't just give Farmer the cold shoulder, but punished them somehow. Make them look like an idiot in front of everyone, use magic, or something along those lines.... Quite deservedly, btw, since Farmer played with their feelings like that, they'll play with Farmer's feelings too.
I don't know, however, what role Camilla will play in this. Because I think she's going to have a special event about it, or at least a special role. She likes to pry, so she'll definitely be keeping an eye on Farmer's love affairs. And either Camilla will tease them or punish them harder than all the adventurers put together if Farmer cheated on her.
[Farmer Aleia is lounging on the couch, flipping through a book while Sebastian is at his computer, typing away. The mood is casual, and the two are enjoying their time together.]
Aleia: *suddenly perks up, grinning mischievously* Hey! Sebby! I've got a riddle for you!
Sebastian: *still typing, without looking up* This better not be like that time you tried to convince me that mayonnaise counts as a drinkable snack.
Aleia: *waves him off dramatically* Hah! I stand by that statement! Mayonnaise is versatile, and you're just close-minded. But no, this one's different. Listen up!
Sebastian: *leans back in his chair, spinning slightly to look at her, raising an eyebrow* Fine. Hit me with your best shot.
Aleia: *grinning smugly* Okay. "You feel good when you stick something in it. You feel happy when you shake it. But you feel sad when you take something out of it. Now, what am I?"
Sebastian: *pauses, staring at her blankly before a slow smirk creeps onto his face* Oh
[Sebastian gets up, crossing the room slowly. Aleia's smug grin falters slightly as he approaches and stops in front of her. He leans down, placing his hands on either side of her on the couch, effectively pinning her in place.]
Sebastian: *in a low, teasing tone* Sweetheart, If you wanted to have sex, you could've just asked instead of hiding it behind riddles.
Aleia: *face turning crimson, flustered* AH!No! That's not! It's a piggy bank!
Sebastian: *blinks in surprise, then bursts out laughing* Piggy bank? Really?
Aleia: *starts giggling uncontrollably* YES! Admit it, I got you!
Sebastian: *still laughing, straightens up and crosses his arms* Alright, alright. Fine. But now it's my turn.
Aleia: *playfully narrows her eyes* Bring it on!
Sebastian: *grins wickedly, leaning slightly closer* Okay. "What's long, hard, and stiff, gets used inside a warm, wet place, and works best when you move it back and forth?"
Aleia: *bursts out laughing, pointing at him* HA! Easy. It's a toothbrush!"
Sebastian: *suddenly crouches in front of her, gently takes her hand, and smirks devilishly, his voice dropping* Wrong answer, love?
Aleia: *blinking rapidly, her blush returning* E-Eh?! Wait, what-?
[Before she can react, she grabs the nearest object, a pillow, and throws it directly at his face. Sebastian catches it effortlessly, laughing as Aleia scrambles to her feet in a mix of embarrassment.]
Aleia: Sebastian! You're the worst!
Sebastian: *grinning, tossing the pillow back at her* And yet, you still love me.
Aleia: *trying to suppress a smile, but failing* Yeah, yeah. Don't push your luck, emo boy.
Sebastian: *leaning back smugly* Admit it, though. I make this relationship very exciting.
Aleia: *rolling her eyes but smiling anyway* Exciting isn't the word I'd use... but fine. You win this round.
Sebastian: *winks* Always do, sweetheart.
Thank youu πβ¨
I mean that dark background is pretty sus so good thing I checked it out. I even notice to some of your other artworks with this style like with Isaac holding his baby with Elaine in the grey background.
I saw your post about Myra on Twitter. wdym she's a "powerful, dark entity"?!?!
what are u yammering about? My farmer daughter is a cute, kind girl!
How my Stardew Farmers meet Lance
Aleia: *finally reach the volcano top* Damn fucking magma sprites! *swats the fire out from her hat*
Lance: *appears*
Aleia: What the-! *points her galaxy sword at Lance, thinks his an enemy* Who are you?
Lance: Not to worry, Aleia. I'm just a friend.
Aleia: You know my name?
Lance: Yes. Iβve heard a lot about you, Aleia. Marlon speaks highly of your caliber as an adventurer.
Aleia: *laughs* Marlon does love to tell a good story.
π
Rosemary: *too tired to even bother once she reached the top volcano*
Lance: *appears*
Rosemary: *groans in frustration and chucks a bomb at Lance thinking its a monster*
Lance: *uses levitation to stop the bomb landing on him, chuckles* Rosemary, calm down. I'm just a friend.
Rosemary: *snaps out of it* Oh shot! I'm sorry! I thought your just some monster like the ones from the volcano dungeons.
Lance: Understandable. *chuckles* Few adventurers have scaled Mount Kohldur, once a great dwarf kingdom. Your achievement is a testament to your ambition and perseverance.
Rosemary: Well it was hard to get passed through those monsters.
πΊ
Cerise: *reach the top volcano, after passing all the floors with ease*
Lance: *appears*
Cerise: *with instinct, throws a galaxy dagger at him*
Lance: *blocks it with a magic shield, chuckles* Fast reflexes. Impressive
Cerise: You must be Lance. My sister talks about you.
Lance: She does?
πΌ
Thalia: *reach the top volcano a bit unscathed, eats icecream to replenish her health* Finally I'm here!
Lance: *appears*
Thalia: *eyes narrowed, hands clinch to her weapon* Wait. Aren't that hot guy from the volcano. That my friend, Rosemary talks about.
Lance: *chuckles* I did meet her at this very volcano, yes. I hope I'm not startling you.
Thalia: Meh
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I'll be writing stories and mini skits featuring my farmer OCs and their NPC lovers as they navigate mundane, romantic, or even chaotic moments during the holiday.
Additionally, with the recent release of Maggs Immersive Alex Romance Dialogue and Events (x)Spicy or Sweet 1.6 by @maggplays, I'll be writing one-shots about my new farmer and Alex, exploring their interactions in each cutscene. Since Iβve never written fanfics about Alex before, this will be a fun challenge for me. ( βΉβ½βΉ )
After days of careful planning and construction, with the assistance of Robin, Yvonne successfully completed building the skatepark that Sam has always dreamt of. While initially created to fulfill her husband's dream, this project ended up being a valuable asset for the town, where children can experience fun and exploration while adding a new structure to Pelican Town.
(P.S. Thanks Maggs, for helping me trigger this cutscene. ππ)
Mod:"Maggs Immersive Sam Romance Dialogue and Events (x)Spicy or Sweet 1.6" by @maggplays
With the new 1.6 update, those power books. Just imagine the farmer getting lucky to read those books and they just magically go POOF! Combat Skill Increase!
Hello! How do you think the SVE Adventurers (+ Mages too if its ok) react about learning that the farmer had 0 lvl combat experience or training when they joining the adventurers guild?
Preferably, they learned this by the time they already reached at the Crimson badlands for a while now
The game repeatedly reminds us that being an adventurer is a risky job. one adventurer even died to slimes. So why did Marlon just give the new farmer a rusty sword and went "Yeah, I done enough" and went to his merry way??? Its probably the first time they even held an sword, being fresh out of joja and all that.
So I can imagine an Adventurer/Mage noticing the farmer's rough fighting style in the Desert and asking them about who trained them and the farmer's like "Oh, yeah I'm self taught" and their Colleague being "???"
A little lyrical digression: in truth, Marlon is not exactly accepting someone with no experience into the Guild. If Farmer was able to kill at least ten slimes, they're already worth something. Especially since the old adventurer guessed that Farmer was a stubborn person and they would go to the Mines. So he gave them at least something to use in self-defence. Although on such an occasion, it would have been more logical not to let Farmer into the Mines at all, but there was no official ban on entry. Marlon's job is to guard the entrance so the monsters don't get out, but if any humans go in, that's a whole different story.
But that's me digressing, now let's get to the question.... Thanks for the question, by the way, dear anon! π

Isaac:
Suspicions. Lots and lots of suspicions, which, for now, Isaac keeps to himself and doesn't share even with Alesia. Is he the only one who finds it rather odd that a person who has not had at least some experience in combat behind them has become a professional adventurer in a short time, willing to tackle even the horrors of the Crimson Baldlans? Farmer is either a cheater or not who they says they are, because well that's just not possible. And that pisses Isaac off a lot to the point where his facial scar starts to hurt a little. He'll be watching Farmer from a distance to find out what they're up to. And he'll keep his hand on the hilt of his sword if they do something stupid.
Lance:
Although it was rare, there were adventurers and wizards in history who, being beginners, were able to master in a short period of time such techniques and spells that were inaccessible even to adepts of their craft. Lance was the same - in addition to his natural gift in sorcery, he very quickly learnt the basics of magic, sem his peers. But even his quick learning was monitored. Farmer, on the other hand, had shown up very suddenly, so he understood his own and his other colleagues' suspicions. However, a few personal tests and communication with Farmer had dispelled all doubts of the pink-haired man. Nevertheless, he still considers Farmer to be the most mysterious person Lance has ever had to work with.
Alesia:
Of course, it is rather odd that there was no report or mention of Farmer earlier. The Castle Village archives hold files not only on the adventurers living here, but also from other Guilds or self-styled adventurers who had shown themselves in one way or another and could be considered as candidates who could be officially authorised to enter the Castle Village. She doesn't remember the Farmer among the documents. But the sniper trusts her former teacher Marlon, and if the old adventurer has faith in Farmer, then they really are worth something. Moreover, the Farmer shows themself to be a completely honest, brave and good person. Alesia even wonders what the young warrior is still capable of...
Jadu:
Truth be told, Jadu was busy with his own important business to listen to the local gossip and delve into the new Stardew Valley Guild member. But as time passed, the rumours about the mysterious warrior grew more and more, and he became curious as well. Most often, the young adventurer whispered that this Farmer had gone from a novice to a true professional in six months, chopping down monsters in Crimson Baldlans left and right. Which put Jadu in a stupor. He had recently asked Camilla about Farmer's background, and they really had no experience in past. Strange... However, Camilla is taking a very keen interest in them. She definitely can't be fooled, so if she's interested in Farmer, then they really are gifted. So Jadu is ok with Farmer.
Camilla:
Hee hee... For Camilla, this is no hindrance or reason to doubt about the Farmer. Even though even they are an adventurer and a mage only recently, she senses great potential in them. She also feels some of her friends and colleagues are a bit distrustful of Farmer. But any good mage and professional adventurer will notice that Farmer is a true uncut diamond, which with proper attention will prove themself even better than now. The main witch of Castle Village will let the Farmer solve their problem with distrust of others in themselves, at the same time to check how they will behave in such a situation. She will watch them with a mysterious smile...
After years of sudden interest, declarations of love, budding romance, passionate moments and a series of misunderstandings, the decision was made. He turned to her and asked the question, "Will you marry me?" The shock of the sudden question overcame her, tears streamed down her face, then she hugged him, "Yes..."
Finally! Finishing the dating phase with Sebastian. Now I'm on the road to get those marriage heart events with him and my farmer.
