Hi, yes, I freaking adore poly KariBakuYasu. They’re just so cute together!! Just, boys being boys, all cute and I love them so much. Kariage and Yasushi making a pact to not try and take Katsuki from the other?? i’m in a kariage/katsuki/yasushi mood so 👁👁👁👁

after the sludge villain incident, they both realize their feelings for katsuki, because he could’ve died. they could’ve lost him.

yasu goes to kariage and tells him that he thinks he likes katsuki. kariage also tells him he likes katsuki. they make a “truce” that they won’t try and “steal” him away from the other.

they start to hang out more, just the two of them, and soon develop feelings for each other too.

one night, they’re goofing around together at kariage’s house, both tipsy. kariage just looked at yasu who laughing his ass off at something. and in that moment kariage found him so pretty. he leaned over and kissed him. yasushi kissed him back.

when they both realized what they just did, they jumped away from each other.

“what the hell was that for?” yasu yelled.

“i don’t know! i looked at you and suddenly we were kissing!” kari hissed at him.

“what about katsuki, huh? we both like him.” yasu asked him.

“apparently we both like each other too!” kariage’s bluntness shut the both of them up immediately, both turning their heads away from each other, face burning.

“....what are we gonna do?” yasu asked after a few moments of awkward silence.

kariage sighed. “i have no idea.”

after that night, things got awkward between them. katsuki could tell something was up, and frankly was sick of the tenseness between them. so he decided to intervene.

“what the fuck is up with you two?” katsuki bluntly asked them, one day while they were all hanging out at katsuki’s house. “did something happen? you two are barely speaking to each other.”

kariage and yasushi’s eyes both widened and the looked at each other before quickly looking away again. “i have no idea what you’re talking about.” yasu said, staring at the game controller in his hand.

“bullshit.” katsuki says. he stands up and takes the controller out of his friends hands. “you two are talking this shit out right now or i swear to god-“

he plops down right onto kariage’s lap and grabs yasushi, dragging his head onto his own lap. “now talk. i’m staying here until you solve your bullshit.”

his two friends faces were as red as can be, yasu trying to bury his face into katsuki’s thighs while kariage did the same with his back.

katsuki let out a sigh, and brought his hand up to run it through yasushi’s hair. “.... we kissed.” kariage’s muffled voice came from behind.

katsuki froze. “was it consensual?” yasu and kari both nodded. “then why is it such a big deal? you two like each other right?” he felt another nod come from the two of them. “then just go out!”

“it’s not that easy.” yasu mumbled. katsuki looked down at his friend, who’s face was still hidden. “why? why is not that easy?”

“....because we like you too.”

everyone stopped. suddenly a burst of laughter came from the blonde. “that’s it? that’s what got you two all freaked out? jesus! you act like two middle school girls!” he said between laughs and giggles. “i like you too dumbasses.” he smiled at his two friends.

yasushi and kariage whipped their heads up to look at the blonde. “seriously?”

“i don’t say shit i don’t mean! of course i like you idiots! you think i’d do this shit with just anyone?” katsuki raised his eyebrows at them, gesturing to the obvious cuddling going on.

kariage and yasushi’s faces became bright red, while simultaneously looking a little constipated. katsuki started laughing at them again. “you two are so stupid oh my god!” he turned and kissed kariage’s cheek, then leaning down kissing yasushi’s cheek too before getting up off of them.

kariage made a strangled noise in the back of his throat while yasushi fell back onto the floor, looking like his brain was reloading.

“up and at ‘em idiots! i’m gonna beat your asses in some mario kart right now.” he tossed the controllers back over to where they sat.

wait, he’s gonna move on? just like that?, kariage thought to himself. “wait! what about us? are we all dating each other now?” kariage called, looking up at the bed where katsuki sat.

“obviously.” he snorted. “...unless, you’re uncomfortable with that and i read the situation wrong.” his cheeks pinkened and he looked down at the bed, playing with his fingers.

“no!” yasushi yelled. immediately getting embarrassed, he tried to cover up his eagerness with a cough. “i mean... no. you didnt read the situation wrong. i’m okay with us all dating.” he looked at kariage, who just hummed in agreement.

katsuki bit the insides of his cheeks to conceal his smile and looked back up at them. “good. now get your asses up here! i’m gonna demolish you.” he swung his own game controller in front of them.

kariage snorted. “not if i beat you first!” he jumped up onto the bed, lightly elbowing his boyfriend. holy shit. they’re boyfriends. he has two boyfriends.

“id like to see you try!” katsuki elbowed him back.

“10 dollars that kat wins.” yasushi calls, slowly making his way on the bed.

kariage gave an overdramatic gasp, looking completely offended. “excuse you! i’m great at mario kart!”

“kari, babe, i love you, but you’re absolutely atrocious at mario kart.” yasu pats his boyfriends head.

katsuki snorts. “yaoi hands is right! you suck!”

yasushi squawked at hearing that new nickname. “YAOI HANDS?!?!?!?”

kariage burst into laughter. “YAOI HANDS- THATS THE BEST ONE IVE HEARD SO FAR! KATSU YOU ABSOLUTE GENIUS!” he leaned over and kissed his temple.

katsuki turned red and giggled, while yasu sulked. “we’ve been dating for 5 minutes and you two are already ganging up on me.” he turned his back on his boyfriends, fake pouting.

katsuki grabbed the back of yasushi’s shirt, pulling him backwards, causing him to land right back into katsuki’s lap. “aww boo hoo.” he jokingly mocked, leaning down and kissing his forehead.

and that’s how the night went on. the three of them having fun, being teenagers, and finally together. katsuki is so happy. they’re all so, so happy. and they wouldn’t change a thing in the world

Oh God, I love it so much, it has so many delicious elements - jealous/angry Deku, oblivious Bakugou and possessive/smug Kariage. Amazing.

During Middle School Kariage didn’t really notice anything amiss, him and Katsuki weren’t that keen on PDA or even revealing that they were in a relationship so to everyone else it just seemed like they were friends, not even close friends at that since they kept their distance while in public. Kariage often overheard people call them Katsuki’s followers and he couldn’t help but laugh at the title cause to him it was ridiculous. He couldn’t believe that people were so blinded by the front Katsuki put up that they really thought he couldn’t have any real friends. Ridiculous.

But then Katsuki and he go to separate High Schools - UA for Katsuki, of course, and an art school for Kariage - and the lack of PDA still doesn’t bother them. 

Until the Sport’s Festival.

Katsuki got a spare ticket and of course he invited his boyfriend and Kariage was more than happy to watch him fight, he knew his Katsuki would win anyways and he wanted to be there and give him a congratulatory kiss when he did.

After the fights started he decided to leave his seat and go find Katsuki; it’s not like he wasn’t used to sneaking around into places he didn’t belong. He just wanted to wish him luck - not in those words, of course, he’d get his damn face blown off if he ever insinuated Katsuki needed stupid shit like luck.

And soon he found the booth Katsuki was in and he was surrounded by the 1A Class. 

When he walked in he first saw Katsuki’s face, that adorable little frown was right in place and everyone seemed to be yelling over each other as they talked, seemingly making some stupid comments towards Katsuki. Kariage had no problem interrupting all that bullshit and calling out his name

And like magic, Katsuki’s frown disappeared and his features calmed down as everyone quieted down and watched as Katsuki turned his head while Kariage walked towards him.

“You’re not supposed to be here, dumbass.”

“Yeah, yeah, as if I care.”

And then he leaned in, placing his hand on Katsuki’s cheek and kissed him.

He was pretty sure someone fell of their seat but Kariage just sat down next to him and placed an arm around his shoulder.

With a glance to the side he noticed a pair of curious green eyes on them, those eyes got filled with something... strange, something a bit more angry, when Kariage squeezed Katsuki closer to his side.

Kariage smirked.

Interesting.

It seemed as if after that Kariage saw Midoriya everywhere, he was almost concerned with how frequently he and Katsuki ran into him but he thought nothing of it. He was too busy pulling Katsuki closer and kissing him and revelling in the look of fury crossing Midoriya’s features whenever they saw him, after all.

It was exhilirating. It honestly did wonders for his ego, the fact that this sweet kid was angry that his childhood friend, the most explosive and stubborn person known to man, was letting himself be soft with someone that he’d only known half the amount of years he’d known Midoriya.

Soon he started to make sure Katsuki had his marks on him too, his neck and chest were always covered in hickeys, insuring that everyone, especially Midoriya, will know he’s spoken for.

Once they moved into the dorms (and Kariage stopped panicking whenever he didn’t see Katsuki for more than a day) it was harder for them to see each other but luckily Katsuki managed to get permission to both leave the dorms and have Kariage come visit him.

And so Kariage got the absolute pleasure of talking Katsuki into joining a movie night - a thing he’d never joined before - with minimal grumbling and then they took up a corner of the couch where Katsuki practically sat in his lap during the whole thing before finally falling asleep on his chest, his hand gripping Kariage’s hoodie and his face lax and completely calm; beautiful as always.

He looked up at that moment, watching as Midoriya lifted his jealous gaze from Katsuki’s face to Kariage’s. And as their eyes met Kariage smirked, leaning in close and pressing a kiss to Katsuki’s forehead before he winked.

He had to bite his lip to hold in a burst of laughter at the expression on Midoriya’s face.

Fucking amazing.

No, but, seriously, I love this. Like, I’ve always really loved the concept of Person A getting into a relationship with Person B, but all of Person A’s friends/family don’t like Person B for some reason, because it is prime angst material. After all, who wants to chose between a lover and friends/family - they’re all people you love, just in different ways, but it hurts that none of them can get along for reasons you can’t understand.

And, the class not being the ones to like Kariage? Perfection. I love it. Just, the fact that the kids are Heroes-in-training, people who’re supposed to be the epitome of good, and yet they still make mistakes. They see Kari, in all his delinquent-esque self, with his cigarettes and piercings, and they immediately don’t like him, don’t even think to look past that to see his true, kind and funny nature. Add in their jealously from just how close Katsuki is to this two-bit thug, and you’ve got some serious animosity that they don’t even bother to try and hide.

And, oh my gosh, when Kirishima was the ome to overhear Kariage comforting Katsuki? Boom, my heart was hurting. Because, Kiri was supposed to be one of Katsuki’s friends, how didn’t he realize that he was hurting him?

But, I just love how the class, after hearing what happened from Kiri, make efforts to change their ways. They give Kariage a chance, and, yeah, he’s an absolute asshole, but he’s also funny and kind and he loved Katsuki so fucking much, and that’s something they all share with Kariage.

And him being best friends with Shinsou and Tokoyami (and, maybe Jirou to complete to Goth Squad 👀) is absolute gold, I freaking adore it.

The first time Kariage met the class they didn’t really like him. They kind of respected him for the way he could calm Katsuki down but the feelings of jealousy inside of them made it almost impossible to see just how kind and genuine he was. Along with that, they just didn’t think he was good for Katsuki’s image. The guy just looked like an absolute dickhead, and he fucking smoked, for gods sake. 

Their animosity disappeared the moment they overheard Katsuki talking to Kariage about it, though. 

It was Kirishima that heard them. Kariage was staying in the dorms for the night and Kirishima was just walking downstairs to get something to drink, but just as he was about to turn the corner and step into the common room he heard some sniffles and a deep, raspy voice.

“Come on, babe, you’re worryin’ ‘bout this way more than I am.”

“Shut the fuck up, it’s stupid, I know, but I just want you all to get along, I’m fucking tired of everyone talking shit about you everywhere we go and I’m tired of the looks and the way everyone’s arguing.”

“You’re too sweet, baby, just ignore ‘em.”

Kirishima ignored the sound of kisses being pressed against Katsuki’s face and he just went back to his room and sent a message after making a groupchat without Katsuki in it.

Guys, we fucked up.

After telling them what he heard the class changed immediately, they realized they’ve been absolute assholes and completely inconsiderate. They start to spend more time with Kariage, getting to know him and hanging out with him and straight away they fall in love with the guy. He’s a bit of a dick sometimes, sarcastic and with a dry sense of humour, but every time he talks about Katsuki his eyes light up and he gets this sappy smile on his face and they can’t dislike him after seeing that.

The person he gets along the best with is Tokoyami though, and later on Shinsou. They get together and revel in their goth/emo/punk aesthetics.

QUIRK

Kariage’s Quirk is called Smoke. It’s an Emitter-type Quirk that allows him breathe out smoke, inhale it with no consequences to his body, and move it around with the use of hand movements and gestures. It is the combination of his mother and father’s Quirks.

PERSONALITY

Kariage is someone who others view as laidback, as he appears average in most of what he does and doesn’t care about doing dubiously legal things. However, despite this, he is actually a very socially smart person who can become very serious if the situation demands it.  As a result of this, he’s one of the few people who can pick up on what exactly Katsuki is feeling, often using it to his advantage in smugly flustering his boyfriend.

He’s very protective over Katsuki and the Katsucrew as a whole, going out of his way to comfort them in whatever way would work best. Because of this, he’s viewed as somewhat of an older brother figure by his closest friends, being kind one second and a cunning asshole the next, but always willing to defend them at a moment’s notice.

RELATIONSHIPS

Partner

Bakugou Katsuki is Kariage’s boyfriend, having been together since the middle of the second year of junior high. They’re very close, often spending most of their free time together. Katsuki is also Kariage’s sparring partner, and tutors him on the weekends, as well.

Family

Agei Kanji (安芸完志) is Kariage’s little sister. When her Quirks manifests, it’s called Temperature Manipulation. She attends a quaint kindergarten near UA.

Agei Muchio (安芸夢痴夫) is Kariage’s father. His Quirk is Core Temperature Manipulation. He previously worked as a car mechanic before turning to drug dealing and smuggling when money became tight for the Agei family.

Han’yaku Tousei (繁厄陶酔) is Kariage’s mother. Her Quirk is Breeze Creation. She worked as a dressmaker before the boutique she was employed shut down, leaving her to resort to alcoholism and prostitution to cope and pay the bills.

Friends

Dehisa Yasushi is one of Kariage’s friends, often being the one he hangs around with when getting drunk or smoking. The two bond over video games and playing pranks, mostly, but also relate to each other about struggling to make ends meet.

Daikikou Seika is one of Kariage’s friends. While they seem as different as two people can be, they bond over talking about their little siblings and respective partners, being semi-decent at cooking/baking, and wanting to be Rescue Heroes. They both go to Moushou Academy.

Kate Mito is one of Kariage’s best friends, both often being found relaxing and smoking in each other’s presence. They share a love of motorcycles and mechanics and get together sometimes to build things. She also helped design his Hero costume and gear.

Obuki Hifue is one of Kariage’s friends. While not being as close to each other as they are to other members of the Katsucrew, they enjoy the other’s company, as both are highly analytical, willing to be underhanded, and untrusting of most authority.

Shioawa Henshuu is one of Kariage’s best friends, as the two attend the same Hero school and are frequent sparring partners. She’s often the second person he turns to when needing help, right after Bakugou, and he has an immense amount of trust in the girl. They both over talking about fighting techniques and watching their little siblings have playdates.

Minor Characters

Karogi Shinpi (巨炊神秘) is Kariage’s boss at the ramen restaurant he works at. She’s rather fond of him and treats him like a son, often letting him and his little sister have free meals. She also knows the Katsucrew well, as her little shop is a prime hangout spot for the teens.

Jimii Aian (地味井愛杏) is Kanji’s kindergarten teacher, so she knows Kariage as her student’s older brother. She’s very sweet and selfless, allowing Kariage to delay tuition payments for the school for up to weeks as she’s aware of the Agei children’s home situation. She also offers to babysit Kanji for free on days she knows Kariage has to work the night-shift.

Uei Isamu (衛攻), also known as the 83rd Ranked Pro Hero Guardian, is Kariage’s teacher at Moushou Academy. She’s very understanding but stern, always pushing Kariage to his limits and never letting him give up, making her his favorite teacher and one of the people who most inspire him.

Of course Kariage thinks Katsuki is asolutely stunning, 100% feels like the best person on Earth when he remembers that he’s the only one allowed to hug and kiss and love Katsuki so gently.

It’s not just the fact that his boyfriend is beautiful and stunning, it’s not even about the fact that he feels privileged to be the only one that gets to touch him in this gentle way, it’s because of the way Katsuki reacts.

He swears it’s like the boy has never been touched by anyone in his life. Every time he holds his hand Katsuki’s face blushes all pink and pretty. Whenever they’re in bed and he’s gently trailing his fingertips over Katsuki’s back the blond shivers and trembles and gets goosebumps all over his body. Whenever he kisses him it’s like Katsuki gets completely lost in the moment, he makes him feel as if they’re all that matters in the world.

Introducing the entirety of the Katsucrew at long last!!

From left to right we have - 

Daikikou Seika, the sweetheart and resident fashion disaster of the group. She’s a bit soft spoken but with a surprisingly willful side to her, and she loves taking care of her army of plants and reading from her many books.

Kate Mito, the mechanics-obsessed trouble-maker of the crew. She’s a very candid girl who expresses her feelings freely, and she’ll rant for hours about her ideas and theories to anyone willing to sit down and listen.

Agei Ashikari, or Kariage, the very reason the trope of bad boy with a heart of gold exists. He’s understanding to a fault and cares deeply, always willing to defend his friends or cheer them up with a ride through town.

Bakugou Katsuki, the center of this motley crew. Somehow, even as a bratty kid with a million and one complexes, he ended up with the most amazing group of friends and all it took was a few months of badgering and friendship rituals.

Agei Kanji, the absolute baby of the group and favorite of them all. She’s sweet and kind, quick to comfort and unfailingly hilarious, an amalgamation of all the best traits of the group, who she all views as her honorary siblings.

Shioawa Henshuu, the most feral of the the group under her deceptively disarming guise. Both driven and gentle, she knows every way to topple someone down and then how to pull them back up with a helping hand.

Obuki Hifue, the perpetually exhausted mother hen of the squad. She’s quiet to a point, but around her friends she smiles brighter than the sun and works hard to make sure they take care of themselves, lest she get personally involved.

Dehisa Yasushi, the laid-back older brother figure of the squad. He’s relatively chill most of the time, only really getting hyped over video games, but he’s always down to have a good time with his friends, whether it’s legal or not.

I should say though, that I’ve also decided that Family by Mother Mother is the theme song of the Katsucrew. Give it a listen if you haven’t already - it matches this squad of hell-raisers perfectly.
